loved the location. unfortunately tv didn't work, couple of towels were dirty, walls were super thin so you can hear your neighbors. room smelled like old moth balls and some cockroaches here and there. Enjoyed the roof top. Hey, you get what you payed for

The location and friendliness of the staff are the best things about the Ewa Waikiki. It’s in walking distance to everything. But the only disappointment is that the rooms are outdated. I’ve been staying here everytime I visit Waikiki since 2015 and the rooms then were already outdated and trapped in the 1980s vibe. There is a musky smell to the room and carpet and throughout the hallways. My bed sank in and made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. I had to switch rooms because the AC didn’t work properly. This hotel needs an update asap and I think when it does it be one of the best places to stay.

The room was full of roaches. They were everywhere in the bathroom, the kitchenette, and even by the beds.

Unfortunately when I checked in, my original room smelled very strongly like fish. It also did not include promised appliances such as a microwave and mini fridge. The staff did transfer me to a new room which smelled slightly (but not completely) better. However, the overall experience could have been better, considering how much I paid.

The bed was dirty with stain

Small, very worn out room, elevator went down during our stay. Dirty, musty room with cockroaches. No closet or place to hang clothing at all. Cost us over $120 a night. I've stay at $50 a night Motel that are much better.

the hotel needs a major renovation, in my bathroom there was mold on the ceiling and walls and the smell of damp was also unpleasant

I liked the room layout, the simple design, nice shower, comfortable bed, coffee machine. I liked the small easy to use parking lot. The location is great. I didn’t like they don’t clean the room unless asked, the drier was always used I couldn’t dry my towel/bathing suit, there was no microwave, tv had to be reset to get it to work.

The staff were friendly. Location was convenient and safe. Beach was walking distance. However, the parking garage for the hotel is small and you have to reserve in advance. There is other parking garages nearby and less expensive. Overall ok

3 day stay here, first night came back from dinner to notice that our tables were covered in roaches. We were able to get a room switched that night but COST us. The phrase you “you pay for what you get” couldn’t be more true, here!

I checked in at about 1030p… I clicked a queen bed reservation but my issued room was 2 twin beds. Hotel told me it was first come first serve basis and same tier room. Those were 2 different options at the time of booking and my email confirmation stated 1queen not a ‘moderate’ room. App offered cancellation oddly quite quickly but no support to book something else. I was told a relocation person would call me and it never happened from the app. I understood the price and took a chance on the room since it was to sleep and leave at 6am, had the queen bed been issued my review would’ve been more positive and neutral. I wonder how many queen bed rooms they have vs twin rooms. Night attendant claimed zero support just deferred to supervisor for next day shift. Photos attached are of rm 606 If I checked in right on time maybe I would’ve received a Queen. Grateful I didn’t fall off the tiny bed as booking another location was not so friendly. I tried. Otherwise pretty close to ocean Went for a light walk and found a few abc stores and something to eat/drink Parking was reasonable in price in comparison to others Location was good for me due to my morning meeting but I won’t try again here. With some minor adjustments that place would be way better but not my business to run. Towels were good Bar of soap was good Tv was small but good cable worked

Poor quality but good price

It is a fine choice for a more economical hotel to stay at. Staff is great. Hotel itself is old and needs some updating but overall it was fine.

Loved the location:) We just needed a clean place to sleep, shower and be able to walk around Waikiki so this was perfect:)

The location is great, but the building is starting to show its age. I world stay there again.

This hotel was much worse than I expected, so I checked out after two days and moved to a different hotel.

The place was run down the carpet was dingy. The door in the bathroom was falling apart . The closet is where the utensils and pots and pants are …

Friendly, convenient, affordable

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and it had everything we needed. The staff was extremely nice and helpful the entire trip.

The property could definitely use some updates but overall it was a great value. Very close to the beach. Free parking was available right down the street. We would stay here again.

Property is old and outdated. It has old collected through out the years furniture. Old carpet that needs good vacuuming at least. The kitchen area and fridge is from the 1930’s …. The sink was repainted with white pain, the mirror had a lot of rust.Having said that I didn’t see cockroaches and towels and sheets were clean. Super friendly and helpful staff and it was close to shopping and beach.

The hotel was clean and staff friendly. The location was around EVERYTHING we wanted to do! Beach right nextdoor, zoo right across the strret, shops all around, aquarium down the street! It was all and all a great trip and hotel

It clean but needs to be upgraded. Lack of parking causing to find parking elsewhere and is more costly.

Small elevator, has stair access. They're parking lot was full, and was not able to park overnight. Ended up parking on the street and paid the meeter which added a fee on top of the matter charge. There was a roche in our room, sliding door was difficult to open and close, curtins were falling off the hook, and shower rod fell. The room does have a microwave, 2 stove tops (dishes and pans included), sink to wash dishes, and small fridge.
