We stayed at this property for our last night in Ireland and were quite pleased with the property and service. The hotel is well located as you enter town with easy parking and walkability to the castle/city center. The room was spacious, well appointed with a large bathroom. My son especially enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the gym seemed really nice. We didn't make use of the on site dining or spa amenities but it's nice that it's all there. Overall a good value and very pleasant/friendly customer service. Previous reviewers note the rooms can be stuffy- we did not feel that as we opened the windows for some fresh air (most of the buildings we were in in Ireland did not have or need central AC).

We had a great stay in Kilkenny. Celebrating our honeymoon and surprised us with a nice sweet treat when we arrived. Hotel is a 10-15 min walk outside the castle / city centre which is perfect location. Huge parking lot on site which is free to use for guests. Staff were friendly and room was perfect for what we needed. Would highly recommend.

It’s a very nice, modern facility, in a good part of town. If you don’t mind a 15-20 minute walk or 5-minute Uber to the main pedestrian area, you can’t beat the amenities. We’d stay again.

The hotel is very good. We just got a room that was extremely noisy day and night with some machinery outside. It was a challenge to sleep. Other than that, it is clean and the staff is very pleasant

The hotel advertised as an upscale hotel but the only thing upscale was the lobby. Our room was not as shown in pictures, it was not nice and resembled a motel feel.

Property was noce and staff was wonderful. I did not like that there was not any air conditioning and probably would not have booked the room if i knew there was no AC. Bed was not comfortable ans small. when i booked the room i booked a queen bed and i was given a confirmation from the hotel for a double bed. i usually sleep in a king so going down two bed sizes with my wife was hard plus i cpuld feel every spring in the bed.

This is a very nice hotel and you can use the pool at the gym that is attached! It is in a nice location- but a little far from town if you want to go to the castle or the medieval museum- you will probably want to drive.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the first 2 nights of our 7 day journey in Ireland. The location was perfect! Walking distance of about 15 mins. to town and lots of sites. The Roswell Bar at the hotel had great food choices. The breakfast each morning was sufficient and it was nice to have a hot meal first thing in the morning.
The rooms need an upgrade but overall we had a nice stay.
