Great clean and reasonable priced hostel

The room we had was unbearably hot. it was a Summer night, but the daytime temp had only reached 22C so not the hottest of days. Thankfully there was a fan in the room, but it wasn't very effective and we had to leave it on all night with the window open to feel the effect. This made the room quite noisy with sirens and general traffic from the road. On top of that, the metal framed bed and a paper thin mattress. Every time we rolled over the whole frame would squeak like a balloon so we kept waking each other up. We all had a poor night's sleep and woke in the morning with muscle cramps from uncomfortable bed and headaches from the fan blowing on us. Genuinely couldn't wait to get out of the room just to breath oxygen again. Usually I put up with a lot and adjust my expectations for price, but at £145 for a single night I would rather pay £20 extra to stay in a Premier Inn.

Was dirty, bad staff. Lot of violence

Not the best hostel I’ve visited but ok. Showers have almost no pressure (money saved on water and heating bills) + there is no electrical plug on the upper beds.

That was perfect hotel

The walls had water marks all over them, the telly didnt work and the bed linen wasnt the correct size. Fire alarm went off at 1am and the staff wernt motivated to explain what had happened.

Upon arrival was given keys to someone else’s room, then notified that the place ran our of rooms and now have trouble even getting a refund.

The room was extremely hot like a furnace even with the windows down. Maybe a fan or something wpuld have helped in the summer

Bathrooms are not cleaned, staff was not cooperative,

There is no wifi in room 311.

Cheap option, but not many amenities and not as clean as looked in pictures. Also, no air conditioning or fans and it got really hot at night.

The Bad... The lift was broken, and they put a wheelchair bound gentleman up 4 flights of stairs!! That's next level awful! Service was the worst. Rooms were not ready at check-in time, staff was overtly rude to other patrons, and they made a fuss that I requested a receipt at check-out. As mentioned, the lift was broken, so it was 5 levels of stairs everytime we went to the room. Rooms were not ready until about a half hour after check in time. Zero ventilation in the room - we were absolutely suffocating in the room! I cannot overstate how uncomfortable the temperature was in the room. TV in the room had no channels. The shower is on a timer--you have to push the button every 15 seconds to keep the water going. The bed sheets were too small for the bed, so they came right off with any movement. The Good... It wasn't gross. Everything seemed reasonably clean. Location is alright. They charge for luggage storage, but we got it for free. The wifi signal was okay throughout the building.

Upon arrival the room was not ready and I was told that I will be refunded and to look for a room elsewhere.

The stay was quite near to waterloo with easy access transportation.The place was overall good,may be some varities in food for breakfast and bit more arrangement in the breakfast managing counter

I would not recommend staying at this hostel - we felt very unsafe. The staff were not friendly and refused to give us a key to our room so we were unable to get back in if we decided to leave the room. Additionally, we were unable to lock the door from the inside so anyone could have access to our room throughout the night (we pushed the bed in front of the door). The reception area was also filled with homeless individuals which made us feel unsafe. Overall very unpleasant stay and wouldn’t recommend.

One of the 2 elevators out of order. The only other remaining elevator was deliberately disabled by housekeeping during the 3pm check in. We had 3 heavy suitcases that we carried up the stairs.

If possible, I would give 0 stars for this property. The rooms were dirty (except for the sheets, but full of hair). The toilets were TERRIBLY dirty (I wish I could post pictures here). They cleaned the toilets once during the 4 days I was there. My new perfume was stolen from my bag. There was some weird people around all the time and I felt unsafe (I learned later that they receive homeless people from the government). I asked for a cleaning on Monday evening and they said that the cleaning team would come only 7am the next day. If they have such movement of people they should have a spare cleaning team for the weekend. The staff was lazy and unhelpful. I asked for a refund because of the cleaning and they denied. NEVER AGAIN.

The rooms are not bad in cleaness but the bathroom and toilets are very dirty and smelling urine ,it was much better to separate women from mens rooms as i dint know how to dress or undress infront of men i couldn't sleep at nights because of snore it was te

Very dirty hostel staff very nice 1st room I got I could t stay in it due to being on the top bunk when asking for a bottom bunks got Changed and that room was dirty so didn’t end up staying and got the night bus home

Lovely stay room 217 is quiet and well equipped shame the lift wasn’t working but it was ok Love the bar area too Staff are welcoming and friendly

Good location, close to vegan shopping market and tube. Room was big and beds were very comfortable.
