Likes- location, size of unit Dislikes- lack of sufficient towels, washer/dryer ineffective, hall is musty and front entry looks like a homeless shelter, poorly responsive management, lack of consistent hot water

This is close in to the main attractions of Edinburgh and has a view of the castle from the living room. It’s well appointed and very modern. The office staff is super friendly and we were able to store our luggage there until check in time. I would stay here again.

Clean and plenty of room. Good location. Of the places we stayed over 9 days in the brightest month of June, it was the only one with room darkening shades. I was surprised how much that mattered. Bit noisy in morning.

Location was great. Walkable to all attractions. Only downside was homeless people in vestibule to apartment. Had to step ariund them a few times to enter flat.

The location was perfect for access to sites. We used the Hop on Hop bus which had a stop across the street. It is about a 15 minute brisk walk to waverly station for any taking the LNER to/from London which was faster than waiting UBER/ Taxi. It is a 5 min walk to the tram station at WEST End to get to the Edi Airport. Both super convenient. The 2 bedrooms were great. Noise was not an issue. The property stayed very warm without even needing heat. The drapes blocked out the daylight very well. The light switches were a bit tricky - a manual for foreigners would be useful. Never really figured out the washer/ dryer combo despite reading the manual online. Stairs - so be prepared. Tesco right downstairs for convenience (basic groceries if you are there for a few days).

Great apartment! The area is a little unsafe with people hanging around the door.

Central location to many sites and food options. Transportation tram stop right down the street. Train station right down the street. Grocery store right below the rental.

Very central property! Can you walk or take transportation everywhere easily. The property managers helped us very quickly when we went to the wrong place. Would stay again!

The view was amazing! The castle was in front of us! The apartment/hotel was perfect for our needs! It was easy to access and central! The company was great to deal with! They even held our luggage at a nearby central office for the day and we were able to get an early check in!

I was in aware it had no lift. I turned 60 and it was my birthday trip and the stairs were quite the struggle especially with the luggage.

I had a few questions after I booked the apartment and both Deanna and Mina provided me with wonderful responsive service. All round positive experience with Destiny Scotland.

What a fantastic apartment. Centrally located, beautifully clean, modern and spacious. The additional touches such as toiletries in the bathrooms and tea and coffee were lovely. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend.

Lovely clean apartment

The property is absolutely perfect. Location, comfort, cleanliness, size, style. I had to dowload the app to discover parking options were not just paid and off site but a significant distance from the property. Without even a spot to pullover and get bags or kids out, we had to take all our bags and our 3 year old on a 20 minute walk across the city in the cold dark evening. Photo is view from loungeroom window. We loved our stay here. Dont let the parking situation put you off, I just wanted people to know.

If you're looking to be right in the City Centre with great views, look no further. These apartments are immaculate! Completely renovated. The building may be old on the outside, but on the inside surprised all of us. The staff was excellent to work with. There's a Poundland down the street to get some groceries to hold you over in the morning and evening. Would definitley stay here again. Also close to all the bus stops. Excellent.

Nice & spacious, close to all sightseeing , everything within walking distance. Only points of improvement…no lift available so we had to carry all our luggage up 5 floors. No parking nearby…very inconvenient

Great location, great property. Only observation was the front door area attracted a number of homeless people from 9pm onwards.

Location was fantastic, close to everything in walking distance. Apartment was spacious clean and very comfortable. Top floor which meant lots of stairs but worth it for the view.

Great apartment with tons of room. Beautiful view of the castle and great location in old town. Would recommend for active group travelling together, since there are a lot of stairs. Would definitely return!!!

The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a great central location. The view was fantastic from our apartment. We had four adults in the apartment and there was plenty of room.

Fantastic location on Princes Street - pleanty of places to eat/drink nearby. Trams, buses available and walkable to Castle and Fringe events

The keyless entry was very convenient and the apartments were spotless.

The location was great. The apartment was clean with all the amenities. There is a broken door on the main bedroom that is very loud and annoying.

Transportation was challenging because Uber could not pickup or drop off at the property

Efficient, good location, and nice view of Edinburgh Castle on the border of New Town and West End. This is an apartment building with code provided ahead of check-in. Management office is nearby for luggage drop off. Note that the building is walk up. There is no elevator.

Worst experience ever. The property is super dirty. The entrance had strong smell of pee, garbage all around, dirty stains, pukes all around. Bums and sketchy people at the entrance and made us very uncomfortable to go in and out. Please avoid this property. No elevator, no service, no reception on site, not enough towels, no luggage storage. For this kind of money we paid, we could have stayed at 4 or 5 star hotels.
