Nothing We’re really disappointed with property It was like a dods house not a family home

Beautiful house in a great location. Douglas and Dani are extremely hospitable and friendly, they exceeded our expectations. We felt very welcome and had an amazing stay combined with a private tour around the city. House is very clean and comfortable with everything you need. There is a good public transport connection with city centre as well as the airport. The area offers some attractions and food options, being away from the city turmoil was a big plus for us as we could relax in the evening.

The room was spacious (for the money I paid)! Though the bathroom and the shower are shared, it's only together with another room, and I never have to wait to use either of them. Douglas and his whole family were very attentive to all my needs. You can also have a hearty breakfast (for another 13 pounds) at the most convenient hour for you if you make sure to notify Douglas ahead of time.

Amazing hosts here! They are super nice, very friendly, approachable and accommodating. The room was nice and clean. We had a lovely stay! Although the place is not within walking distance of the city centre, there's a bus stop just by the side of the property with a lot of bus lines stopping there. Also, it has great connections to the airport.

couldn’t get normal tv, no full length mirror, having to walk through the family kitchen to shower whilst they all sitting eating dinner, having to wait on the toilet when was bursting to go, because next to kitchen very noisy from early on so no peaceful lie in

Lovely Edwardian property, it was home from home made extra special by our hosts Douglas and Marie, who were both very welcoming and accommodating. house was full of charm and breakfast was very good.

The rooms are not ensuite, not advertised accordingly, but if you don't mind bathroom out of room than you'll be fine

Location is excellent right near Penny Lane with many places to eat. Penny Lane Pub, serving excellent food, is dog friendly too. My husband had the full English cooked breakfast, which he enjoyed very much. Douglas, the owner/host was very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Douglas also, via the Liverpool Experience, offers tours, taxi service and much more. There is a piano in the house, which my husband was told he could play and enjoy, which he did! Thanks Douglas it made our stay more enjoyable.

Unfortunately we were not aware that we had to share the family bathroom and it is situated through the dining room & kitchen. However, again, Douglas tried to sort timings, etc. The advert did say room in family house but I thought the bathroom maybe close to the room we occupied. A kettle in the room would be good and I have been advised that this is receiving attention. The reason I have mentioned not value for money for us, this is because through our booking it appears to have doubled up in price for the one night, which I had paid in advance. I believe the correct prices are now shown and had I paid the amount now shown on booking.com I would have considered it to be value for money. £13 for a full English does seem reasonable too.

we were two with our 2 kids there and it was perfect. the location is excellent, the hosts were very nice :-) we made music together, we laughed and we talked. it was like home! many shopping facilities like Asda and Tesco. it was clean and quiet. we could cook and we spent relaxing time. Thank you guys for the hospitality

Beautiful property and a great location. These guys have excellent taste. Dougie was chatty and very helpful throughout the stay. The kitchen, dining area and upstairs bathroom are immaculate and the rooms have been furnished with love.

The hospitality from Douglas was great. Overall, a good experience .
