Great location, easy parking to walk into town. Good clean basic room and hotel. Great price for a midweek stay. Would definitely stay again.

I loved this hotel for the convenience -- near downtown Liverpool, and across the street from the wharf, tour buses and ferris wheel. Convenient as we didn't have to drive to other locations.

Good location near Albert Docks and wasn't far other parts of the city. The room was initially really cold and then in the evening, I had to turn the heating off as it was so noisy. The room was therefore cold and I could not sleep as a result.

Over priced, old and smelly. Usually I trust star ratings over 8. This was a very bad experience. There for one night ( football match). Rooms are VERY small, the floor is sticky( wear shoes not socks) and bathroom is not as clean as you would like. I payed at least 3 times what it’s worth. Avoid, avoid avoid( unless they charge you around $200 US)

A short but amazing stay. Spacious room and bathroom! Within walking distance to main attractions. The tastiest breakfast each morning and staff were so friendly and helpful.

Slow check-in. No towels in the room when we arrived. Hair in the tea and coffee station. Also no sheet on the mattress only on the topper which barely covered it

Last minuite to stay. From Peterborough ordered suitcases and Liverpool only had. Stayed here in lockdown, included breakfast which was lovely.

A good location and supposedly parking, although with contractors working on a building behind the hotel, many of them were using the hotel spaces so it was difficult to find a space.
I wasn't very well and could have used a comfortable lounge to rest in but there wasn't one and the chairs in the room were much too uncomfortable.
It's probably a great hotel for sleeping in but other services could be improved.

There was a lady at reception who really needs some retraining; she was unfriendly, unpleasant, and, in my opinion, would be better suited to a back-office role rather than front office.

The reception staff were not friendly or welcoming and didn't thank us upon leaving either.The climate control unit in the room did not cool the room down so it was too warm through the night. I paid 20 pounds for the car park yet no one ever asked for my registration, did not validate the ticket despite me offering on 2 occasions. Upon leaving the barriers were permanently up which meant other people were probably coming and going while parking for free. The reception staff actually asked me how many nights I had stayed. I feel like I paid 20 quid for no reason.

From the website the hotel and room reflected as what would be a decent place to stay for a few nights. The room wasn’t set up as requested as the fold up bed was not ready nor did it come with bed sheets which I had to ask for and didn’t supply a single bed duvet for it either when I asked for it for my child. Room perhaps a bit dated and needs upgrading.

Our stay was really good, staff helpful and friendly nothing too much trouble. Room was clean as was all areas of the hotel. Location was brilliant as short walk to attractions, river mersey and Albert docks. Breakfast was great, good choice, buffet and much as you want. Only a mile from station. Close to shops. Would stay again.

Very noisy room near technical space (laundry?) and right next to huge construction site with builders living in metal containers, making noise as from 4 am. Didn't sleep much.

So convenient for touristy attractions in this area. Comfy beds and thank you to member of staff who accommodated us in rooms next door to each other. Friendly staff. Housekeeping staff always cheery too with “good morning!” Would recommend this hotel!

Excellent location. Rooms are ok but beds very hard. Breakfast is quite chaotic, very limited tables and not cleared very quick for other quests to use.

Rooms were great, clean, safe, close to Royal Albert docks, staff upon checking in were quite short and seemed as if they didnt wish to help us, however she may have been having a bad day.

Town very close. John Lewis pretty much on your doorstep if you go out the back of the car park. Albert Docks over the road and a Tesco express also really close.
Good self-service breakfast for £12 and free for children with a paying adult.
The door room key card stopped working about 4 times which was a bit annoying.

Great location for a visit to Liverpool. Very close to Albert Dock and the shopping centre. Walking distance to the Cavern Club if you're wanting a Beatles Experience.

Have stayed at an Ibis Styles hotel often, this was by far the worst. Room was dated, the whole hotel was dated, staff was too busy playing on their phones. When we came down to the bar a couple of evenings, tables were more often than not covered in dirty dishes and what was staff doing? Playing on their phones. I’d stay somewhere else.

Overall - good stay for great price in an excellent location at a decent hotel with some room for improvement.

- some staff very helpful and friendly
Cons:
- bed not great for someone with a bad back
- other little repairs needed e.g. bathroom door couldn't close properly
- 1 or 2 staff have poker faces (family felt the lack of warmth in the welcome and interaction with certain front desk staff)
- parking system too informal
