Great hotel and really friendly staff. Room was excellent with a great view. It's a quiet area, location, but that's the Island. Bit too quiet for me, as I prefer busy areas. Had a nice rooftop swimming pool and bar

Bath was unsafe to enter(too high) and shower head too low. Otherwise okay. Cups for tea / coffee too small and difficulty in getting larger sized mugs.

Very cool area with a lot of nice local restaurants and bars in the alleys around the property, as well as quick access to the beach.

From the moment we got to the hotel, we were greeted with such kindness. The amenities were great - especially the pool. The free breakfast was very filling. Though the beds were hard, we enjoyed our rooms immensely. Beautiful ocean view. Thank you for your hospitality, especially Nam at reception!

If we could, we would give 10+ for Nam with “glasses” (front desk reception) and the hotel owners for going beyond of taking great care of us during our stay!!! I was sick for two days. On the third day, I called the front desk reception, Nam answered and advised us to go to the SOS clinic (prompt and thorough service) instead of the hospital (long wait) or the other clinic nearby. To our surprised when we came down for breakfast, Nam advised us that he had booked a complimentary taxi to take us to the SOS clinic. While we were having breakfast, a well mannered lady (later found out from Nam that she is the owner) noticed that I wasn’t eating all of my food on my plate and wanted to know if there was anything she can do. I told her that I wasn’t well with my throat hurting when swallowing. She said that I must have strep throat (which was confirmed later by the doctor) and asked if I have rinsed my mouth with salt water. I responded “no” and later send some up to our room. The total cost including doctor checkup, X-ray, blood test and medication was 1.5 M dong (equivalent to $82 CAD). The whole process only took 1.5 hrs which is the fastest result that I have ever experienced! Within two hrs of taking the medication my throat no longer hurts. Upon learning of our early departure at 5 AM, Nam offered a complimentary taxi to the airport and packed up sandwiches and drinks for us. We have recommended this hotel to my family and friends! We definitely will come back!!!

Aquasun is a quiet and beautiful place, a short walk to the beach and to Main Street.

A lovely hotel with five star staff. Hotel in perfect location. Hotel rooftop pool area still undergoing renovation work. Heavy clunky wooden sun beds with no cushion cover is the only negative of our wonderful stay.

The room is clean but the wifi service is very bad,it disconnect all the times, and the road to the hotel is too tiny

When we arrived, no one came out to help us with our luggage, we had to carry it up the stairs ourselves. I stood at the desk and no one acknowledged me one lady was running around and then eventually the owner offered us welcome drinks. The app for hotels.com glitched and messed up my booking so I had to pay more when I checked in. The breakfast buffet has deli meats, fruit and yogurt baking under sunlight by the window which I think contributed to the yogurt tasting spoiled for 2 breakfasts in a row and it gave me food poisoning. The shower tub is too high you need a step stool to get in and could easily slip getting out or getting into the shower. There's no shower curtain or door so water gets all over the bathroom floor and toilet after every shower. The employees don't smile at you when you leave or enter the hotel. There is no safety lock box. Before I checked out I asked a taxi driver how much a ride to the airport would cost. Compared to Grab, it would be almost the same price. When checking out I asked the hotel employee to arrange a ride to the airport. We got into the same taxi driver's car and at the airport I asked how much I owed him and he gave me a price 4 times more than what he said to me previously. I got upcharged just because the hotel arranged the ride? Just take Grab, don't take any taxi rides or rides arranged by the hotel. They are scammers. At least other hotels had my best interest in mind and would recommend Grab, this hotel only cared for money.

Overall a nice hotel in the Central-Southern part of Long Beach. A good deal for the price. Staff is very nice and helpful, service was good. The only downside for us was that it is not on the waterfront and doesn't have it's own beach. Other than that, everything was great.

Mr. Nam front desk attendant was extremely helpful and nice. Hotel is clean and maintained well. The laundry service was better than expected. Our room didn’t have hot water, only warm but everything else was great.

The hotel is newly built and looks really nice. But the room was not cleaned properly at all times, and the staff also forgot dirty equipment in our room. A few days we did not recieve any coffee nor fresh water. The shower did not have any hot water for any of the 3 weeks we stayed there. We also had a lamp turning on itself in the middle of the nights whenever it was windy. Airport transfer was free and you can rent scooters for more expensive price than on the streets. The hotel only accept cash payments

It was very quiet and the staff over there are very friendly.

I stayed 4 nights so far. The room was perfect Very clean, well planned, functional and comfortable. Everything you need. Unfortunslely there was a guest smoking in The balcony belie, so my room was not always smoke-free. The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of different options to try and pleadsnt service. The pool on the roof is refreshing, at times a bit windy. The water in the shower was also refreshing... so no really hot water but luckily in this clinate it doesn't matter so much.

Staff was somewhat inattentive.

Great place to stay

I have been to many hotels not only in Vietnam but to many locations in North America and the Caribbeans. The level of service offered by the staff at the Aquasun is second to none. From the moment we arrived they have treated us like family, truly going out of their way to make sure that we are happy with our stay. My wife got ill during the trip and everyone from the front desk to the kitchen staff to the owner Mrs. Phong went out of their way to offer support for my wife. To everyone at Aquasun, keep doing what you are doing. It's the quality of service and dedication of the staff that stands you out from the rest. We will be definitely be coming back.

Aquasun is a nice, new property. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of Vietnamese and Western foods. The roof top pool is refreshing and it's a good place to view the sunset.

Great stay. Beds are hard

All of the staff, particularly the young lady at the reception desk, were exceptional. The entire staff had an attitude of what can I do to help you. The breakfast was excellent.

Very convenient and the staffs are so nice; cooked special dishes(vegetarian)for us. Most captivating was the airport transportation service.

The room I got was very spacious,clean, and had a beautiful view. TV with access to netflix and Youtube, I like watching something on either of these, so it makes a difference in a stay for me. The beach is about a 5 minute walk, there are different restaurants on there. The town restaurants are also a close walk. If not, there are grab taxis outside waiting to drive you to wherever you want to go. Hotel breakfast was good with a variety of options. What I didn't like was the bed and tub/shower situation. The mattress was very hard, and they only provided 2 pillows. Taking a shower was a bit of a challenge because the tub is perched so high that you need a little stool to enter. I didn't dare to stand as I showered because it felt like the tub would collapse. It would have been better for them to just have a shower instead. The airport is a close 15 min drive. If you're looking for an affordable stay, the hotel is good.
