This property is in a great location close to all the sights!!! The staff is warm and so helpful and the breakfast and afternoon tea fantastic. Room was comfy and clean I will definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel with a friendly staff which is right in the middle of the action in Florence. It's not a big city so you're never that far from something spectacular but we really felt in the middle of the action. It was also quiet, which was nice. Clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff. And right next door to the Palazzo Davanzati which is a fun place to explore.

Elvis Elvis Elvis! Elvis greeted us upon arrival and set the tone for our entire stay. He was charming, funny, and passionate about his job. Many guests passed through the lobby as we checked in and he knew all of them on a first name basis. Elvis represents the very best of Italy - stay here and you'll feel right at home (plus the rooms, happy hour and breakfast were all lovely!) We'd absolutely stay here again and loved the location, the city, and most importantly - ELVIS!

Lovely hotel with attentive staff at a great location

We very much enjoyed our stay at Davanzati. We liked the intimacy of the building (as in a home), the lobby and breakfast/social room, the bedrooms (with wood trim, tile floors, high ceilings, etc.), but the standout feature was the two front desk staff. We met two of them, one more that the other. He greeted us and everyone else by name when arriving or departing, was helpful with directions or information about sights, and had an outgoing, amazingly customer-focused personality that really was beyond anyone else we have encountered. The have a free happy hour at 6:30 with subdued lighting, wine, and snacks. This was a wonderful opportunity for us to meet other guests. There are the stairs to deal with, but the staff bring your luggage up and down for you. The rooms are air conditioned, but our room was warmer that we would have liked and they provided a fan. All told, it was a very pleasant stay, and we would go back the next time we are in Florence.

Toilet legroom was a bit tight. Steps up into the hotel were known when we booked. Breakfast was plentiful and cake/coffee and happy hour were nice unexpected touches. The staff are brilliant and there are so many nice touches in the hotel as added extras. The continental breakfast, afternoon coffee and cakes and a happy hour in the evening to mix with fellow guests over a Prosecco or Chianti. This hotel definitely punches above its weight. 5 star it isn’t, but fantastic it is!

This was the perfect hotel in Florence. The staff were amazing, the rooms clean and quiet, amazing AC and amenities that were all included: breakfast with a coffee barista, happy hour with wine. We had an amazing stay! It’s an easy walk from the train station, near shopping and central to duomo and ponte vecchio!

Staff were excellent, incredibly helpful with baggage, check in and out, and breakfast. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Location really can't be beat, right in the heart of Florence. I only wish we could have stayed longer at this hotel, but we will be back!
