The environment is relaxing and the staff's service is excellent. The breakfast is good with different choices. We are staying at deluxe villa room, however we would suggest that the door of toilet and shower be applied with frosted look (at least in the middle part) so as to avoid embarrassing if two friends are staying in the same room.

The villas and the beach area is really nice but you are not allowed to bring food or beer/wine from outside the resort into the villa…. The fridge in the villa is not even turned on and they will charge you if you use the kitchen…. Since food and drinks are quite expensive in the resort area, we had to leave the resort to eat and we could not enjoy the villa. Also these rules are really not clearly stated in hotels.com.
The strict rules at this hotel really took away from my experience, and I think they risk losing guests because of it.

Here's a corrected version:
Overall, it was great. The clean facilities and various activities were the highlights. I especially enjoyed the small waterpark in front of the beach. However, the room service was too slow. We ordered food and it took almost 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive. I recommend ordering room service earlier than originally planned.

Very good experience in Phu Quoc. The hotel is new and clean, staffs are friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We had a memorable trip and will definitely come back again.

5 star hardware but 2 star service. This is the first time I’ve experienced no beach towels in a 5-star beachfront resort. Staffs walking around but don’t take your orders, kept avoiding eye contacts and simply don’t want to serve

5 Star Resorts - Next to a private quiet beach. The villa is clean and the staff are really friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Great resorts if you need to rest and relax. It's far away from most of the attractions.

We had a fabulous stay at the New World Resort Phu Quoc.
Pros: The beach is absolutely stunning and the villas are gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was incredible, we loved that it was slightly different every day. Happy hour is good value and generally all of the staff are eager to please.
Cons: Food and drink prices are very expensive for Vietnam, almost on London levels which was a shock after travelling here from a 5 star hotel in Hoi An where spa/food/drinks prices were roughly half those here. Too many rules - e.g. bikes can’t be taken outside the property. Why not? At other hotels we stayed at on our trip they could be taken anywhere, where the roads were far less quiet! My husband got chased down the road by security. Likewise towels could not be taken further along the beach etc. There was no flexibility either, e.g. we had half an hour to kill before we could check in so our children wanted to use the giant pool flamingo for 30 mins, but the staff were adamant we had to pay for an hour and it was not possible to pay half for the time we actually wanted to use it. No outside food allowed to be taken into bills etc etc. These little niggles were quite irritating and don’t make for a relaxing holiday. However, we still loved the hotel and really enjoyed our stay.

LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY!
The experience was so positive I want to visit Phu Quoc again before I had even left! You travel by buggy everywhere within the premises, and staff nicely arrange everything for you.
The rooms are clean and spacious, with the pool in the villa makes the whole experience another level up! Recommend!!!!!

Superb hotel, great for a relaxing few days on the island of Phu Quoc. The best part was the breakfast buffet. Huge and super delicious selection of local and intercontinental dishes. The pool and beach area are also very beautiful and picturesque. Options to rent a scooter and explore the island is also available.

This resort was exceptional. If you're debating between resorts, go with this one. Beautiful property: infinity pool overlooking the beach, private pools in the villa. There are many things you can do. They have bikes you can ride around the property with, kayaks to kayak around the water, volleyball to play on the beach, and more. It is a very clean property. The thing we love most about this resort was the customer service. They are beyond amazing and very accommodating. Highly highly recommend.

Only 2 small-small negative was that the hotel played house-music loud when you eat breakfast outside. The other is the hotel is a resort, so is a but outside town. But taxi is cheap sooo 👍
