This is a great place to stay. The room was really large. Staff was kind and helpful. Location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to visit.

Family stayed 2nites, didnt mind above the bar but room needs a good reno (broken tiles in bathroom and mold) and room wasnt as clean. Bfast was lovely, the waitress we had was so friendly. Checkin was later then usual, 4pm. Reception staff not friendly at all. Great location to shops, eateries and castle.

At check l had requested a twin room which had been confirmed at 2 pm when l filled out paperwork but at 4 pm ( check in time) the room had a double bed in it so l went back to reception and asked about the situation and they finally acknowledged that l had indeed booked a twin room and then took out the double and put two singles in which by the time this was all completed it was 5 pm. I felt this should have been ready and done when l checked in.

This property was amaaazing. Fabulous location to walk to lots of attractions but more importantly the property itself was fantastic. Such beautiful and comfortable rooms(we were in a garden view room), fabulous bar and complimentary breakfast and value for money. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting beautiful Kilkenny ❤️

Our stay here was fantastic. The room was clean, quiet and the view of the garden was beautiful. The cleaning staff was very helpful when asking for extra towels. We had the breakfast with our stay and it was more than worth the extra expense. The hot breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices. The staff in the restaurant were absolutely lovely. There was a lot to see on the main strip and some cute little pubs We as Canadians only had one issue which was with our hair dryer. We plugged the hair dryer in our universal plug and it literally blew up inside and broke. I am guessing the power requirements are different so make sure if you are travelling you have the correct wattage products or use their hair dryer.

We loved this hotel. It was an old pub that was turned into a hotel and it was right in the middle of the precious town of Kilkenny and we could walk everywhere. The hotel is just oozing with charm, beauty and history. The staff was great too!!

Had a spacious garden suite. Huge property with most of it appearing to be vacant. Lovely walk outside to suite. Large clean room with nice amenities. Unusual tv that changed to a picture when not in use. Adequate parking by hotel. Dinner ok. Included breakfast very good.

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were lovely and the food was delicious.

Nice and easy place to park our car. The old cemetery and church outside our window threw us off at first, but it added to the Kilkenny experience. Room was big and clean. Great restaurant and pub downstairs with live music. Everything else, including sights, restaurants, shopping were easy to walk to. We did not need our car while we were there, but it was nice to know that it was in a safe place. Breakfast was nice. Overall great stay.

Langtons has an amazing accessible parking lot behind the hotel, even though they’re smack dab in the middle of the continent/downtown historical area. We enjoyed our stay, with friendly and helpful staff members, lots of onsite restaurants and facilities for events, and tasteful rooms. Where Langtons fell short was the smell of urine and poop from the plumbing there (I can only assume). It doesn’t make you feel clean. We also had a pretty aggressive neighbor on a Monday night who was banging on doors and yelling. It was kinda scary. There was yelling back and moaning. Super weird and made us feel a bit unsafe. Otherwise, great hotel for location, room, service, and food.
