It takes roughly 20 minutes to reach central London from the nearest overground station, New Cross Gate - less than 5 minute walk from the house.
The house is easily reached by train from Gatwick airport, it takes roughly 40 minutes by train to London Bridge. Where you swap for another train which takes 7 minutes to New Cross Gate. The property is located less than a 5 minute walk from the station. There are also plenty of buses with a stop just outside the house to take you all over London.
Although on the main road the property, which dates from the 1870's is set back from the road by a vast garden in front of the building which minimises any potential noise and adds privacy. Inside the apartment a mix of antique and vintage furniture fills the main living space, we love entertaining here and although you will probably spend most of your time exploring London and the local area, the apartment is also great for a cosy night in. The tv also has Netflix and wide arrange of channels. The bedrooms have comfortable double beds and are simply decorated. The bathrooms are made to a very high standard one with a rain shower, the other with a bath.
The private garden gets the sun most of the day, has a full seating area and a lovely dining area which is fantastic for a dinner or a drink in the evening. The garden also has a full herb garden and pizza oven for cooking or lighting a fire in the colder months.
