Boutique style hotel. Wish we were staying longer as it was in a primo location to everything we wanted to see and yet so quiet. No disturbance from the thousands of other tourists in the city. The staff are the best at what they do. Vibe is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast 🥞 was great. Hot and cold options. Very happy with the free tea/coffee/juice all of the time.

one of our rooms the air conditioning didn’t work. however we did get some money credited back by the staff because of it.

First trip abroad - Location was perfect for exploring the city of Florence and to take day trips to other Italian cities. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive to questions. I knew the property would be different from US hotels - it has a coziness about it.

Location was perfect - 2-3 blocks from train station and a convenient walk to most areas or Florence. Very easy checkin process and friendly staff.

Breakfast was good. The receptionist was excellent. He was very calm and polite when we didn’t like our room. He arranged another room for us.

The first room was big and outdated furniture as the table and bedside tables wobbled, and there was no window a part from in the ceiling. There VC was also wall paint peeling and cracking from the plaster.

Fabulous location near to the train station and all of the must-see sights. The building itself was lovely and has many original features. The bed was super comfy, and our room was wonderful. All of the staff were helpful and very polite. The breakfast room was really special, and it wasn't a problem when I requested a Gluten Free option. Would definitely stay here again.

There was a bit of noise from the street below, but this was to be expected due to a city centre location. Tbh I had ear plugs in, so I didn't really notice.

What a wonderful hotel! Clean, well-presented and in an ideal location. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Having the free bottles of water as well as toiletries were a lovely extra touch that made me feel at home. The hotel is ideally located, central to everything you would want to see. Breakfast was magnificent. Will definitely recommend to anyone who needs a hotel in Florence and I'll be back myself!

-I booked for balcony view and when i went in the room i saw like a fence blocking the view! -Elevator is not working properly. - no varieties in breakfast

I loved the location and proximity to both the train station and Duomo. I loved the old decor and the breakfast room ceiling was absolutely beautiful. I also loved how friendly the staff was. I got welcomed there in a very warm way.

the amount of stairs you have to take to get to your room. yes, there was an elevator, but accessibility is still an issue. It would be helpful to have a small ramp for easy movement of luggage. also, my room always had mosquitoes and there were squished mosquitoes all over the walls. They need to clean the walls.

The desk staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating, honestly delightful! I felt my room was cold at one stage when the weather changed and they immediately pulled out a big clean comforter and put a little electric fire in the room because it was too early in the season for the central heating to be be operative. They also let me have a slightly late check out with zero fuss. And the location is fantastic, right between train station and the Duomo.

THe shower was really not good - a telephone style little showerhead, tepid water at best, could hardly bear to stand under it, it was cold, really - even after waiting ages , and I wasn't showering in peak morning time but at night. It was unimpressive. Maybe because I was on 4th floor! Also there was moldy looking black caulk all along the tub edge which was pretty off putting although the rest of the room was perfectly clean, and I felt the bed was really cozy and crisply clean. It is a three star so the furnishings were just a little tired, and at 300 bucks a night I was not overwhelmed with the style. But it was fine. And again, the staff was terrific. Didn't really try breakfast, it looked standard, nothing special but definitely adequate.

the view from our window was beautiful it’s close to everything. The rooms have a lovely vintage feel. bed was very comfortable.

there is a lot of stairs and the lift is small but not really an issue
