Bath in the bedroom

This property just misses being top rate. When we arrived we were not sure that we had gone to the right place as the frontage is underwhelming to say the least. The seating area and garden were badly neglected and we at first thought that the property was closed for visitors. Inside was a different story and two rooms had been imaginatively transformed into a bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a lounge area. The location was not good - mainly due to the roadworks that went on all night throughout the weekend. Whilst I appreciate that this would not be in the control of the owners, I feel that some effort could have been made to warn us of this issue as a relaxing weekend was rather spoilt by the noise. I would not book this property again.

location was Absolutly fantastic. we stayed in the cottage and it was perfect for our family of 4. Kitchen had all facilities. I can see on other reviews they mention no cutlery but we had a draw full as well as cups plates and glasses. Bed very comfy.

we kept getting a bad smell of people smoking weed. smelt like it was right at the side of the property. Definitely wouldn’t stop me from returning but I’d prefer if they could smoke else where :)

it was close to all amenities

the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable

very clean, perfect location, whole experience very easy

if I had to be super picky the bathroom fan was loud, shows how happy I was that is the only thing I can think of :)
