The location was great and the bar area and food looked fab, but I didn't eat there as I had other plans. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable.

Couldn't get parked and had to drive around the pay and display parking across the road for 30 mins before finding a space. The shower wouldn't turn off and I almost flooded the place. No iron or hairdryer. Extractor fan in en-suites very noisy, neighbour woke me up.

had to sit sideways on the toilet as knees were on the wall, no mirror in the room so had to leave door open and do hair at a distance, no parking left so had to pay an display, not very comfortable beds, very expensive for what you get,

Staff were so helpful and attentive and service outstanding. Food was amazing. we had the tapas which were big portions. Free parking was a bonus. Great atmosphere.

En suite was really tiny. Had to sit on the loo at an angle as toilet too close to the wall. No mirror in the bedroom so unable to dry hair next to a plug. Only mirror was in the bathroom. No ironing facilities or hairdryer as stated in facilities. Nice room but don’t think it’s worth the £110 for a Saturday night

Great facility for me. Great location, close to workplace. Great outlook onto lake, and lovely place for running or walking.

Room was really nice a bit cold at times unfortunately the road outside was quite busy at times during the night

I stayed for a few days as it was central to go hiking and running x the room was clean tidy and perfect for my stay x staff were friendly and welcoming I would highly recommend to anybody xiwould definitely stay again x

beds are uncomfortable, loins music coming for the bar downstairs well into the night. no hair dryer available in fact poor facilities. expensive for what it is

Everything. All night long there was banging of doors / cupboards etc. You could hear loud music and loud conversations / arguments till the very early hours. No one around in the morning. Couldn’t find a way out and walked into the bar area where there was broken glass on the floor and left over drinks scattered around. I had to find a door out of the back way and let myself through. Thank goodness it wasn’t locked or else I couldn’t have got out. I needed to be off before 8am. You can hear what’s happening in the kitchen all night. I didn’t sleep at all. No shampoo or toiletries. No hair dryer in room. You can hear other people in other rooms all night. It was a bad choice to stay and I have wasted £70. I won’t be ever using it again.

We had 4 tapas dishes for evening meal , service and staff great. Food lovely and reasonable prices with big portions for a tapas dish . Think the locals like it as it was busy . Bar staff great

We had a room over looking the beer garden and a couple were out there most of the night talking until well past 6am , and we could hear their conversations. Oh to be young again 😉, Which was a disturbance to say the least . Also room walls are thin and well we could hear most activity in the room opposite !! We had to put TV on to cover their sounds !!! Not much confidentially. Also music was on in the kitchen early Sunday morning about 8.30am so no lie in or much sleep for us.

where do I start? the bath was too small,oh wait that’s the sink,the bed king size? my shins have shin splints after banging on the base…I don’t wanna go on cause it was ridiculous

Good location, great staff.

We could feel the springs in the bed in Room 6. On further inspection in the morning it appeared that the mattress was upside-down. I have emailed to advise but have not received any response. Reading previous reviews, it could have been like this for a long time.
