The location was great, away from the busy central streets (good and quiet for sleeping) but at the same time only 10 minutes walking from the centre.The room was lovely although we would have preferred for it not to be on the ground floor, as you have people passing by, literally in front of your windows, so we had to keep curtains closed off when in the room. Nice beach area although sun beds are really close one to another. Music always on and loud on the beach, which is incredibly annoying (seems to be an Holbox thing), when the majority of people were reading/trying to relax. All in all the hotel is a good one, unsure if it’s worth 5 stars, especially when it comes to service - it wasn’t the best, really strict with their rules that didn’t make sense at times (for example, we had a waiter running after us for not having signed a receipt of drinks we had at the bar, as if we were running away from the hotel, while we were just having a walk on the beach, which was really unnecessary).

Music too loud on the beach, service annoying at times, no hangers in the room (literally nowhere to hang a towel on).

Paradise! Hotel is in a great spot on the beach - quiet and with wider sand area, but still close to center (5-7 min walk). Staff is really helpful. Room, pool and beach area are nice. Gym is actually quite good - was positively surprised.

Bathroom is big, but could have better lights. swimming pool area needs more chairs/space. Be careful - We were charged for things we did not order, but was late so did not have time to get reimbursement.

everything was perfect I loved my room the pool of my room, the food was amazing, the treat of the workers was the best, and the beach was beautiful I love it.

I didn't like that my room wasn't in the beach it was in front of the street and then I have to walk a bit to get to the beach and they told me it was in the beach and another thing I didn't like is that the shower and the toilet didn't have light only out of the bathroom so I took my showers in the dark and I went to the bathroom in the dark too. But everything else was amazing tysm.

Cons: - toilet flush really loud, can hear from other rooms in middle of night - Woken up at 4am by what sounded like a plane taking off but think was generator - Room on road was loud - Rooms have no sound proofing so constant noise with opening doors/cupboards etc - No bike service included which at 5* you would accept - Not a 5* hotel - Service in restaurant terrible - Really bad WiFi throughout hotel - Food quality in restaurant poor, much better to go elsewhere on the island

The hotel was in a great location and right on the beach. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very spacious and had a great sea view.

the staff just make “yes” with third head and nothing really happened. 3 times in 2 days the supervisor should talk with me and she doesn’t. the tv didn’t work, the floor was with a lot of dust that I must to put shoes in my 5 stars hotel room, towels not replaced.

The hotel was located at the beach.

We had booked the most expensive room of the hotel, but didn't even had a sea view. The sunbeds at our terrace and at the beach were very dirty. Service was very poor too, we had asked to wash our shirts, they weren't even ironed when we got them back. The food definitely isn't 5* worthy but more like a 3*. Wouldn't recommend this while visiting the beautiful Isla Holbox.

Swimming pool is small and in the shade for most of the day, we didn't really use it but it's nice to have.

The rooms are nice. Standard room had a balcony with a table and chairs with an egg chair.

The issue with the standard room is the bathroom. There’s no separation or privacy from the room. It’s all right behind the glass. I don’t think your partner wants to hear you going to the bathroom.

Give us a room that we paid for!!! I paid for a pool view room and below shows what we got. I made a complaint to the young girl in reception and she said she’d speak to the manager, obviously the complaint was ignored as we didn’t hear back from the manager! I think that the hotel also needs to make more king beds available as not all couples like to sleep in separate beds.

Good location, comfortable room, good breakfast and nice vibe. Good section of beach to be on.

Pool area was under construction. Room location with plunge pool was basically ocean front, but most of view was blocked by restaurant. Also noise from restaurant A/C or generator was prevalent if patio door was open.

Good service from the staff, there is a great manager at front desk who heleped us with room change - we booked a king size bedroom but we had a different one at our arrival. Great service in restaurant and at beach by a waiter name Gabino:) . Good food in the hotel restaurant.

Some of the staff in the restaurant didnt speak english.

Very hard to sit and relax on the beach with loud techno music constantly playing. It was most disturbing and gave the impression that the hotel wanted the resort to be more of a club than a tranquil location on an idyllic beach.
