The condo was great! Some work to be done with the restaurant services but there is nothing that the condo owner can do about that. If you are coming down plan ahead to take advantage of the wonderfully stocked kitchen. Will stay again for sure!

The past two 3 -4 years we stayed at the Holiday Inn Signature Villas....much more spacious. The Extra Pointe was clean yet just too small for 8 people! The pictures and amenities were made to look so much larger than they were on line.
One bedroom had no closet nor did it even have a rack for hanging clothes!

This charming condo was pristine in cleanliness and ideal location. So close to the beach as well as the beach club. Communication from owners was quick and courteous. Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at this same beach property with our 5 grandkids last year and it works so well for us - bunk room for the boys and bedroom for the girls. We love the porch and view of the beach. Pointe West is wonderful to work with and the Beach Club pool is beautiful! We were a little disappointed that the restaurant was still closed and there was no food or drink service but we understand that these things happen. We look forward to coming again!!

Beautiful and very clean. Owner/Management VERY responsive and helpful. It turned out to be just 3 of us. Very relaxing. We had very heavy fog but still enjoyed the weekend at the Beach.
Everything we needed was there. The only thing I advise is anyone renting that may have mobility issues needs to be aware that neither bathroom has the grab bars in walk in shower or guest bathroom. You may want to bring a shower chair for the large walk in shower.

We had a wonderful week at the beach in Galveston at our Extra Pointe stay in the Pointe West resort. The condo was the perfect size for three groups of adults and one toddler, because we all had rooms and places to sit at both the dining table and in the living room. The kitchen and grill amenities made our daily seafood meals a breeze, and the washer and dryer helped with our outdoor activities. I wish we had been able to use the resort amenities more, but so it goes when you take advantage of the off season. One person in our group used the gym routinely, and we enjoyed the hot tub for stargazing. We highly recommend this property! Communication was fast and responsive, and the location couldn’t be beat for having natural views halfway between the Brazoria Wildlife Preserve and downtown Galveston—the best of both worlds.

We had an amazing stay here! The condo was clean, roomy, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was beautiful, and perfect for vacation. The beach here is beautiful. We all enjoyed looking for crabs and watching for wildlife in the dunes. The pool at the main club was so perfect too! Our only complaint there was that there was another large group at the pool who was very loud and rowdy, but no employees around to assist. We were also bummed that the gift shop and restaurant were closed for the season. We can't wait to come back!

Mini-beach vacation with our 5 grandkids ranging from 7 - 15. We had such a good time - the condo was beautiful, well organized and spotlessly clean. There was lots of closet and dresser space, big pantry which helped contain the chaos. Kitchen was well stocked. The property is beautiful, communication with Pointe West was outstanding, staff were all so nice and the pool and club service were really nice. Really happy with our whole experience and we can’t wait to come back!! Just wish we’d had a couple more days!

Place was comfortable for large extended family. Short walk across pier to the beach or up to the clubhouse and pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Beach Gem!
Really liked the condo we stayed at. It was clean, cool beach vibe decorations, and had everything we needed to make our family comfortable. I also liked that this condo is in a family friendly area. No cars or trucks allowed on the beach made us feel much safer.

Family vaca
There were 10 of us in our group. It was a little tight with sleeping as the “kids” were actually all adult size but one! We made due with the couches but the 3rd bedroom really only sleeps 4 adult size people, comfortably that is. But the place was beautiful, kitchen worked great and the view was amazing. We enjoyed the beach walks and a little swimming and kayaking (did see a shark kayaking though!! Scary but cool). The beach club was fun but pool a bit cold for March. You are quite a ways from any full grocery (although one pretty nice small one is close by). Galveston itself is a very cool town and we enjoyed shopping and eating there!!

Condo was Amazing-property and club not so much
The Extra Pointe was AMAZING! Very clean, beautiful view of the gulf, and had everything we needed for our family. I especially loved all the kid touches, like having a high chair and pack and play available.
However, I was incredibly disappointed in the condition of the property. The elevator went down in our building right after we arrived. This was problematic and scary as my mom is handicapped. It had also been out the week before but had been repaired. When we arrived there were signs on the elevator saying not to hold the doors open or it would stop working. The following day we went to visit the main pool only to find that that elevator was also broken. When we complained to the front desk they were only concerned with whether we had the right color wrist bands for the pool. They did not offer any sympathy for the fact that 2 of their elevators were broken making this trip very difficult for my mom. The customer service was awful. I was pleased with our condo and the beach was beautiful but i doubt I’ll ever stay here again due to the lack of maintenance and service on this property. For what residents pay, it should be top notch and it definitely was not.

Not well maintenanced. We have one person in our party that is somewhat handicapped and the only reason we booked this place is because of the elevators and when we got there the elevator was broken and looked to have been that way for a while. We should have been informed. The pool was partially closed on Saturday. The one day we were there. And when we asked for late check out so we could try to enjoy the amenities we were denied but we didn't get that notice until we were already home. And the excuse was because of the "Season" they were too busy. But the whole time we were there the place seemed dead and struggling for occupants. Nothing like the first time we stayed there at Property ID 1380624. That was the time of our lives, very clean, everything worked.

Great time for all ages
Grown-ups and kids had a great time at this condo . It was a great location ( close to beach) and plenty of room . The pool across the street had a Lazy River which was fun but it was very cloudy . The next day it was closed for cleaning ( a Saturday ). Kids were disappointed . Grown ups liked the other pool because you had drinks and food served poolside .

Great getaway
This condo was just as advertised. Comfortable, clean, the resort is beautiful and beach club gives a great vacation feel. Loved watching sunrise from the comfortable balcony. Had all the kitchen gadgets we needed to cook. They even have the light switches labeled so we didn't have to guess. Perfect if you want a getaway. The location is a fair drive to restaurants and grocery... not an issue for us, but if you plan to eat out most meals then plan on driving. Would love to come back an stay in this condo!

Awesome Place To Stay!
Everything went great with our rental. The unit was IMMACULATELY clean and well stocked. The pictures on the listing are very accurate. The management company was great. The beach club and beach exceeded expectations. It truly was a wonderful vacation. My only issue- parking.. the parking under the units is fine as long as you are in a smallish vehicle and there are no large vehicles parked by you. It is tight quarters without much room to navigate: we were in an extended cab pick up if there was a vehicle in the spot next to us, we could not park in the space. It was not possible. Partly due to another truck on the other side. Parking outside wasn’t really an issue except there aren’t many spots. Certainly not a deal breaker, just wanted anyone with a large vehicle to be aware.

Gulf Coast Beauty
This property was wonderful and the property manager was terrific to work with. It's a bit too far from Galveston to do many touristy activities there. Since the resort doesn't actually open up until early March, we didn't have access many of their amenities. We had to vacate our condo early due to the historic winter storm. We were very disappointed.

Disappointed
Ac didn’t work and couldn’t be fixed, they did give me a small credit but obviously didn’t make trying to sleep in 80 degrees anymore comfortable. The gas grills at pool look great but do not work well enough to even cook a hot dog. My unit was listed As beachfront and it was not, it was behind another building with a beach view and a walk way longer than 60 seconds as stated by owner.

Everything you could possibly need and more.
This condo was the perfect location for our family beach vacation. It had everything we needed, including things I never would have considered needing, but turned out to be lifesavers. The condo is a short walk to the beach. A short drive to the pool, but the beach turned out to be the winner and we only visited the pool once.
The extras were so helpful, laundry with baskets and hangers, fans for the hot sleepers, cordless vacuum for easy sand clean up, and every pot, pan, utensil, kid ware, you could need.
I also could tell the condo had been thoroughly cleaned. I always bring my own disinfectant spray and wipes (even pre covid), and didn’t feel the need to use them. This condo was cleaner than my own house!
Also we had a small repair that needed to be made, and the manager was super responsive and had it fixed promptly.
Thanks again for a very memorable first family beach vacation. We will definitely be back!

Great condo
We had a great stay here. It was a spacious 3 bedroom with nice beds and a well stocked kitchen. My only suggestion would be to add a few more carpets (particularly by the doors so sand doesn't track everywhere) and some more comfortable patio furniture or seating for 4 people. There are only 2 chairs at the table outside so we could never sit out there as a group. We would definitively go back.

Great getaway
What a wonderful property with beautifully kept grounds! We appreciated the steps the property was taking to clean common spaces by the pool regularly in their efforts to mitigate the spread of Covid. Each property has a huge balcony with a view of the ocean which I think is brilliant! Some of the walkways to the beach don’t have ramps so accessibility gets limited and forces you to walk the LONG way if you’re strolling a wagon or child stroller. Wish the property would have beach towels and pool towels so we can limit the amount of stuff we have to bring. Also some access to a beach tent/umbrella/beach folding chairs would be amazing. The pool had a lot of chairs, but no umbrellas by the lounge chairs - just by the picnic tables around the side (but we got lucky with the overcast weather so we didn’t really miss it too much on our visit.) Restaurant was closed due to COVID, but it looked really nice and convenient next to the pool. Overall really great experience and a place me and our family would love to visit again when everything is actually open and safe. Ohh and there is a small shop next to the beach where we were able to buy a snorkel and boogie board for our kid- so things like that are very convenient!

Wonderful Time Away
This beach condo was beautiful! We celebrated our son's 21st birthday there in May. It was a very special family time together. The view is magnificent from the balcony. The breeze was amazing. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and pool.
We enjoyed grilling on the porch too. I was very concerned that we stay in a clean place with the pandemic etc. I felt very confident with our choice. It was immaculate!! We would love to come back again and have already told other friends and family about our awesome stay!!

Perfect beach getaway for a family of 8-10.
The view of the beach was perfection. The living area was comfortable for 8+ people. Bedrooms were perfect. Certainly appreciated the well stocked kitchen and loved the infrared grill on the patio. Beach was private, easy to access and well kept. We will be back!!

Spring Break Get Away
This was one of the best properties we've ever rented through VRBO or AirBnB. It was very clean and everything was as pictured. The kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of dishes and glassware, even plastic cups and plates for kids. Brand new grill on patio, patio furniture was also clean and usable. (we've had some rentals where patio was unusable). Would definitely recommend and would book again.
