Casa Osito (Ourson) est proche de la place de Santiago avec shopping, cinéma et marché. Place Santa Lucia avec tous ses grands restaurants est à seulement 5 pâtés de maisons. Et la place principale est à seulement 7 pâtés de maisons. L'emplacement est parfait! Les caractéristiques architecturales intégrées Casa Osito rendent unique. Les anciens murs de pierre, hauts plafonds avec poutres apparentes, poutres, dalles de pâtes originales et espace de vie ouvert offrent un espace magnifique et fonctionnel pour profiter de vos vacances. La maison a été récemment rénové et est architecturalement exquis et combine le charme colonial avec une mise à jour moderne. La cuisine et la chambre principale face à la piscine et le patio. La maison dispose d'un mobilier de Yucatan Meubles et Capacua personnalisés (ainsi que quelques pièces antiques génial), l'éclairage de Takto et des œuvres d'artistes Merida bien connus. La maison a une sensation de lumière et ouvert avec l'ajout de nombreux puits de lumière pour la ventilation. Chaque chambre dispose d'un mini splits pour garder les choses cool.
Le stationnement est disponible dans un parking public à proximité. Il y a un stand de taxi sur la place Santiago. Les tarifs des taxis à Merida sont peu coûteux, avec des tarifs au sein du Centro fixés à environ 50 pesos. Uber est également disponible.

We really enjoyed the accommodation in Merida for its facilities and also spacious room, and of course the swimming pool. From the casa you can easily travel to the center of Merida and enjoy the activities there. The architecture is great and everything was arranged very good.

We were very pleased with the style and quality of the house. Everything worked well, and we had all that we needed for our week's stay. After going into the grand plaza with its crowds and vendors, we were happy to come home to our quiet neighborhood and our "own" Parque Santiago.

Casa Osito was the perfect home in Merida. It was very spacious and well equipped. My family and I (2 adults and 2 boys) spent two weeks here and would have loved to stay longer. Everything was great; communication, location and amenities. The managers were great, very prompt in all of their responses and willing to help with everything from booking excursions to getting a physician to come on a Sunday morning. The location could not be better. It was close to Centro, Mercado Santiago, bakeries and numerous restaurants. The pool was perfect for relaxing and beating the midday heat. We are looking forward to returning and having another adventure in Merida soon.

The house was amazing clean well stock with everything you could possibly need. The architecture to die for. My husband and I enjoyed the spool in the evenings super refreshing. This property is managed super well and make it very easy to communicate with them and can solve any issue in a blink. We will definitely stay here again!

I want to move into this place. It's beautiful like I've never seen at an rental property, and we've been all over. And clean, and modern. I took a bunch of pictures and I'm going to try to rip off the entire design aesthetic in my own home. I will not succeed.

We stay in Merida for the month of March . The house was wonderful and the pool was a must ! The property was well maintained and the weekly cleaning was great. The pool was maintained a couple times a week too . Beto, our concierge person was very attentive and helpful. He always was there when we needed advice and booked many side trips for us that were amazing . The location was terrific and the informational binder was very helpful about restaurants, shopping and grocery shopping. We highly recommend this house and company .

Merida as a destination has a ways to go but in our three full days there we took two to hire a car and driver to see the archeological sites nearby. The hosts helped arrange both trips. When we returned hot and tired on Friday afternoon from the second visit, the smoke detector was beeping in one of the bedrooms. We called to report it and within the hour someone came to fix the problem. What an amazing thing!

This was a perfect home base for my family's week exploring Yucatán state. It's such a charming home. The courtyard with the little pool might be one of my new favorite places in the world 😄 We had so much fun exploring and felt great knowing we could come home to Casa Osita every night. Beto was so kind and helpful when he met us at check in and we felt comforted knowing we could count on the concierge services if they were necessary... though everything went so smoothly and the info provided was so thorough that we had the need. I highly recommend Casa Osita to anyone looking for a comfortable, charming, serene place to stay in Merida.

I have been regularly visiting Merida since 2010 and generally rent hotels for each of my stays. As this visit was for ten days, I decided to look at rental properties and found Casa Osito online. This house met all my expectations and beyond. The family who owns and manages their many properties are lovely, kind, and helpful. I mainly dealt with Becca, but I also engaged with Mike and their family. Before checking in, they set up a Whatsapp group to make communication easy. I cannot say enough about the rental quality, the owners and the location! There is a laundromat next door with a wonderful woman named Jenny (she also speaks some English). It made it easy to have my laundry services attended to quickly. I will continue to rent my future properties from Mike and Becca when I visit Merida.

Beautiful spot, lots of room for two couples or a family. Great location, walkable to everything central and property management offer concierge services, an amazing guide and a nice welcome. The pool was refreshing after walking all day and was clean and private. The front bedroom is next to the road and can get busy in morning, besides that it was an amazing place to stay.

Gem of a location in Barrio Santiago
The location was ideal, the property comfortable, spacious, and relaxing. It was great to be just one block from parque Santiago and a short morning or evening walk to la plaza grande or Santa Lucia. The small pool was a lovely escape from the afternoon heat. And the property guidebook was fantastic for planning delicious meals in this culinary paradise of a city, museum trips, cenote adventures, and day trips to archaeological sites. Highly recommend Burro y Flauta and Casa Osito to anyone visiting Merida!

Everything about my stay at this Burro y Flauta property was excellent, Beto (Alberto) provided amazing concierge service including numerous recommendations for day trips, food, etc. The property itself was well maintained and well stocked with all the necessities. Perfect Merida vacation spot
My friend and I stayed here for four nights as we explored the area and attended a wedding. Our expectations were exceeded on every account. Our Casita was adorable and immaculate. The kitchen was stocked with water, coffee and beer. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was excellent. It was conveniently located to explore Merida on foot and to catch taxis as needed. Beyond that, the complimentary concierge service was outstanding! Beto answered our questions and provided so much additional information about the area. He arranged a day trip to the ruins, reccomended restaurants and where to get covid tests (tricky on a Sunday) for our flights home. We were able to check in early and Beto made our early arrival and departure times seemless for us. When we return to Mérida, we will absolutely stay here (or at another of their properties) again!

Beat Expectations!
From initial contact to the end of our stay the entire staff of Becca, Beto and Mike were absolutely fantastic! We appreciated all of the little extras, from the outstanding selection of soap, shampoo, conditioner, luxurious linens, towels and bathmats to the large screen tv with Netflix! The casa was super clean and located in the heart of the city with parking right out front. Offline Google maps was a lifesaver for navigating in and out of the city. We also appreciated the ice maker in the freezer and spring water supply. The pool was refreshing and pool towels were super handy. I cooked every day and found the kitchen was well equipped. It was a delightful surprise to find coffee, creamer and sugar supplied! We love our coffee :) Overall we cannot say enough wonderful things about this house. Thank you so much Mike, Becca and Beto for sharing your home with us!

Perfect Location for a Perfect Vacation
My wife and I had a wonderful experience here. Our hosts and their team went out of their way to make sure we always had everything we needed. Communication was always nice and fast. The place itself was even more beautiful than the pictures, we felt right at home, and our expectations were exceeded by far. The neighborhood is very easy going and away (but not out of reach) from more busy/touristy areas. The location makes for a great starting point for many adventures, at the same time staples like a pharmacy, a supermarket, and restaurants are within few minutes walking distance. All in all we couldn’t have asked for more thanks to Burro y Flauta and their amazing team. Thank you guys, we hope to see you again in Mérida!

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful month at Casa Osita. The location is perfect, the 'house team' was excellent and we truly had all the comforts of home away from home including a private pool. We rented a car and once we acclimated to the layout of the streets we were good to go. We toured in all 4 directions and were able to return to Casa Osita by nightfall as every site we wanted to see was within 1 to 3 hours. Absolutely recommend this spot for anyone.

Very Comfortable Home in a Great Location
Our family of three were very comfortable in this home which is very beautiful and could have easily accommodated double the number of people. The property is managed beautifully with a "concierge" checking you in and out and available for problems, although the property is maintained so beautifully there were none. Also, the communication with the owners was seamless and could be over email, text, etc. This is a propert well-managed by people who try to make it easy. We were in Merida when it was HOT and the pool and air conditioning were a lifesaver, although the pool is directly accessible from the living area which might be a concern with very small children. The street outside is very busy and sometimes created street noise inside. For us, the location could not have been better - near Santiago Park and easy walking distance to the central historic district, restaurants, shopping, cafes and yet easy (at least as easy at is can be in Merida) to get out of town for day trips. Highly recommended, especially if you are an "English only" traveller.

Many thanks to the owners and staff of Casa Osito! Everyone treated me so well from booking, to check in and check out. I really felt at home at Casa Osito and the place is even more beautiful than the photos reveal. Everything you need for a week or a months stay was thoughtfully provided. And the pool was totally refreshing! Lots of great information was provided upon my arrival, of things to do and see in Merida and surrounding areas, as well as reviews of all the best places to dine. A block away from the food market at Parque de Santiago and 5 blocks from great dining at Parque Santa Lucia, Casa Osita was perfectly located in the Centro! Looking forward to returning and staying in many more of your beautiful properties!

Comfortable home in the perfect location!
Located in the heart of Santiago, this home was the perfect home base for our trip. There is a grocery store and bakery nearby, and a taxi stand at the end of the park. We had no trouble parking on the street.
The house itself was charming and comfortable. The beds are great. If you are planning to really cook, just be aware that the house is lacking things like a cutting board and some basics. For us, it was not an issue really since we ate out or had easy meals. The coffee maker is all we really needed.
The pool is nice on those hot days.
My only other comment is about Becca and Beto. They are helpful and really communicative. Thanks!
