Beautiful Cabin Close to Blowing Rock and Boone!
Récemment rénové en août 2017! Achevée en novembre 2009, cette cabane en rondins écoénergétique, nommée Mt. Sinaï, c'est l'expérience au sommet de la montagne que vous attendiez. Profitez d'un après-midi passé à vous balancer sur le porche couvert, tout en surplombant des collines vallonnées avec des vaches et une grange rouge. C'est une vue sereine que vous ne voudrez pas quitter.
Une fois à l'intérieur, vous tomberez amoureux de la spacieuse cabine de 1900 pieds carrés. La grande salle est plus que suffisante pour accueillir vos amis et votre famille pendant que vous vous réunissez autour de la cheminée et racontez votre journée dans les montagnes, ou détendez-vous avec un bon livre et regardez le coucher de soleil spectaculaire sur la crête.
La cuisine comprend des appareils en acier inoxydable, des comptoirs en granit, des planchers en bambou et est bien équipée pour préparer n'importe quel repas. Au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez une (1) chambre avec un lit queen et 1 ½ salles de bain. A l'étage, vous trouverez deux (2) chambres (une avec un lit queen et l'autre avec des lits superposés) et une (1) salle de bain complète. Toutes les salles de bain ont des planchers en céramique et les deux salles de bain complètes ont une double douche / baignoire.
Le sous-sol chauffé vient d'être magnifiquement fini en août 2017 avec des murs et un plafond en pin de montagne! Il y a un lit queen dans la chambre, un lit queen et un lit double dans le salon, ainsi qu'un canapé. Sept personnes supplémentaires peuvent dormir en bas pour accueillir 14 personnes au total. Une nouvelle salle de bain complète a été ajoutée au sous-sol avec une douche à l'italienne. Réfrigérateur complet, nouvelle télévision et table à manger sont également au sous-sol pour beaucoup de plaisir en famille. C'est un super endroit pour que les adolescents passent du temps.
Dehors, vous pouvez balancer l'après-midi loin assis sur la balançoire en bois de 6 pieds de long du porche couvert et écouter le sifflet de la Tweetsie Railroad au loin. Vous pouvez même faire rôtir des guimauves et faire des saveurs sur le foyer extérieur pendant que vous et vos proches vous asseyez sur des souches et des rochers en bois rustiques. Pendant les mois d'hiver, vous pouvez voir les lumières et les pentes de la montagne de ski des Appalaches, juste en face de la montagne.

I didn’t stay in the house. We were there for a family reunion. Three of our daughter stayed there with two in-laws and 7 grandchildren. Total 12 people. The rest of us stayed at another Vrbo. It was a great gathering place for us when using the outside. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

The cabin was exactly as described. Loved having 3 floors, each with a full bath, plus a 1/2 bath on the main level. Kitchen was well-equipped with plates and utensils, a little short on glasses but we managed. The porch was nice and sunny on the cold afternoons, the drive to Boone and/or Blowing Rock was quick and easy. Great location! Would definitely stay here again.

We spent a long weekend at this cabin with family for a special occasion. By far, this is the most well stocked and appointed cabin we have ever rented. The downstairs area was perfect for our infant granddaughter's needs and there was plenty of space for everyone. The porch was well used and we enjoyed watching it rain from the comfort of the swing and many porch chairs. Beautiful and quiet area.

We had a wonderful family time at Mt Sinai. We enjoyed the view. The cabin was beautiful and very well kept. Perfect 50 birthday weekends

First the pros: there are a lot of beds and you could fit a lot of people in here! (We had just a small group, though.) It's centrally located, about 5 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 12 minutes from Boone restaurants and grocery stores. The hosts certainly seemed well intentioned and provided dishwasher detergent, soap and a fresh sponge. Thank you!
The cons: I'm sorry to write that it felt damp and musty. The cabinets and tile floors were sticky. The headline of the property was "Newly Renovated!" But in the middle of the listing, it says the basement. You might skip over this if reading quickly. Along that same lines, the description read: "Enjoy an afternoon spent rocking on the covered porch, while overlooking rolling hills featuring cows and a red barn. This is a serene view you won’t want to leave." You cannot see the said hills or cows. There are of trees all along the front and back of the house and are quite thick. Trees are nice in their own way. Just don't expect expansive views (or light) from the porch. Also, it was hard to find a place to store groceries or luggage. Kitchen cabinets and drawer were jam packed and surfaces elsewhere had tchotchkes on them.
Overall, I would recommend this place, but just know what you're getting.

Mt. Sinai cabin is very beautiful and clean as advertised. We visited here from Orlando, FL during Christmas week with family and friends. All of us enjoyed the stay and had enough room for everyone. The location is awesome and very close to all major attractions especially the Apalachiean Ski Mountain. We enjoyed the camp fire in the firepit outside. We love to visti here again. Mt. Sinai cabin is very beautiful and clean as advertised. We visited here from Orlando, FL during Christmas week with family and friends. All of us enjoyed the stay and had enough room for everyone.
