This unit does not disappoint. The location is fabulous, only a few blocks from Santa Lucia park. We walked all over town. The beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked. Everything was very clean and the communication was great. Everything in the home worked as expected. The blackout shades in the master worked very well and we did not lose sleep as a result I'd the beautiful glass windows. We had two adults and four kids staying here and it was plenty big for all of us. We also felt safe at all times and loved walking around the neighborhood to see all of the different paint colors and facades.

This house in Mérida was perfect for our family of 5. The city/neighborhood was clean and safe, and the accommodations were comfortable. So many restaurants, parks, and stores are within walking distance and fun to explore. Nuria was an excellent host with timely communication. The house was stocked with drinks, snacks, and toiletries upon our arrival and we were pleasantly surprised that the house came with two cleanings during our stay! If we visit Mérida in the future, we would love to stay at this house again.

A great property. Just perfect for us and beautifully maintained. A minor suggestion to the host was to refrain from having workers come to clean the pool and property during out stay as the open design of the house gives limited privacy from visitors. The neighborhood was "grittier" than we expected with poorly maintained sidewalks, hanging power lines, and deteriorating facades of abandoned buildings. The place was perfect!! Convenient to walk almost anywhere & close to SOCO for amazing coffee / pastries in the morning. Place was very clean, comfortable (I found the master suite bed more comfortable than many hotel beds) & well appointed in kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Nuria arranged for a mid-week cleaning, which was not 100% necessary, but nice. Easy check in / check out. Good sized garage if you have a car. Appreciated all the fresh drinking water, ice and even a few beers & snacks & check ins from our hosts. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this property for a (very hot) week in May. It was beautiful and in perfect condition—even lovelier than the photos show. Communication with the owners was fantastic, and they were quickly responsive with any questions. The little extra touches, like the fruit and beverages, made our first night welcoming after a Long day of travel. The beds were comfy and the water pressure was superb (not super common in other Mexican rentals we’ve used). The private pool was lovely, and we spent many hours relaxing on the patio. Merida was a wonderful city to visit, and we look forward to returning to this property specifically!

We loved staying at this property! The location is a short walk from everything but in a quiet neighborhood. Everything is exactly as the photos show. Once you are home it is like an oasis in the city. We especially loved lazy afternoons in the courtyard and pool after being out all morning. Pre-trip communication was excellent, check in was very easy, and the house provided everything we could have asked for, including good wifi, toothpaste, ground coffee and bottles of water and coke in the fridge when we arrived. Thank you for providing such a nice home on our first trip to Merida!

We had a perfect stay. Check in was seamless, place was amazing, spotless and exactly as advertised. Fast and reliable internet, well equiped kitchen and hosts were quick to answer questions. We loved the location, quiet and just a few blocks from Parque de Santa Lucia with great restaurants. Without hesitation 5 star!

This home is in the perfect location for exploring the city of Merida by walking. We also had a car for day trips. There is a garage with remote controls which is a treat parking downtown. This is such a safe a beautiful city to explore. Also many great options for day trips in the area with haciendas, cenotes, Mayan ruins etc. The host was one of the best we have ever had. Great communication and very easy check in and departure. The home itself is updated, clean and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this property. We have traveled the whole peninsula extensively over the years. This home and area is one of our favorites. Thanks so much for the professional service.

House was well equipped and in an excellent location. Owner met us on arrival which is first class and provided us insight into the area. Felt safe and many sights, dining and entertainment in close proximity to the house. Would stay there if in the area again.

This was our second stay at this property. It’s a great location and very well maintained. Although you can walk to everything in Centro, it’s wonderful to also have the garage so you can have a car for excursions. The owner and her assistant are all about making your stay enjoyable.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Our every need was met by Nuria and Fernando and they went above and beyond at every turn. The home was in an ideal location and was extremely clean and well stocked. We highly recommend this property for anyone vacationing in Merida!

We stayed for a week with our 2 daughters, who loved the pool!!! Near downtown, newly renovated, super comfortable beds and extraordinary service. We will definitely stay here in our next trip to Merida.

Upon arriving Fransisco greeted us at the property. He gave us helpful suggestions for grocery stores, restaurants and attractions. The pictures on the site are accurate. It’s a beautiful property with everything you need for a stay. A real home away from home. Nuria was also very thoughtful with getting back with us when we had any questions. The pool was perfect after a day out adventuring. We are a family of 5; two adult children and one 12 yr old and had plenty of room to sleep and relax comfortably. The only suggestions I have, are it go over the laundry instructions and how the oven works. As the direction are in Spanish. We had a wonderful time and look forward to the next time we visit Beautiful Merida

The house was exactly as described and pictured. It is well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay, with lots of extras and personal touches that made me feel welcome, at home, and taken care of. The location is perfect - a quiet street within easy walking distance of Plaza Grande, Parque de Santa Lucia, and Paseo de Montejo. I will definitely stay here again when I travel to Merida. The owners are very responsive and thoughtful.

My husband and I had the pleasure at staying at this 5 star accommodation in Merida. It was by far the most comfortable and well stocked rental we have ever stayed in (and we travel full time!). The hosts thought of every amenity, making our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We highly recommend this property to those visiting Merida.

This is an excellent property for your stay in Merida - close to downtown, but very quiet in the house. The main square is 3 blocks over and 3-4 blocks down. Many restaurants are closer (Oliva within 3 blocks), and we found the restaurants in Merida to be fabulous. My husband and I were in the master bedroom and found the bed to be extremely comfortable with very high quality sheets. The back-up water heater assures hot water in the shower. Nuria and Fernando worked to anticipate our every need, including from toothpaste to bug spray. We had a couple minor issues come up during our 10-day stay, and Nuria & Fernando resolved these quickly. Additionally, Nuria found my friend and I a spa that was within walking distance, and they made our taxi arrangements back to the airport. Our only regret is that we should have stayed longer in this wonderful city and beautiful house.

In midst of Merida downtown I sit on the porch, drink my coffee and listen to all kinds of exotic birds singing in the old ceiba tree. Those are moments of our stay at this wonderful rental I'll never forget. It has everything you might need and more. Everything can be reached on foot but try to avoid the midday hours. The owners were very professional and helpful with everything we needed and the cleaners Martha and Nico were very discreet and efficient. If you want an unforgettable stay in Merida choose this rental.

My husband and I had such a great time! We were welcomed by Fernando, who could not have been kinder. He really took the time to show us around the house, direct us to some maps and discussed with us places to walk, eat and day-trip. The house was incredibly well appointed. Anything you could desire in a pinch, they well thought out and provided. The pool area is lovely, I spent my early mornings quietly reading outside and about every day, mid-day when it’s hottest. The neighborhood is very quiet so it was quite relaxing. Now, my husband and I call this the holy trifecta of traveling— the kitchen, bed quality and shower pressure. The kitchen had almost every amenity you could hope for, they provided— (good quality) coffee, tea, basic cooking oils and spices, pots, pans, corkscrew, the whole nine. The bed was very nice and firm, plenty of pillows and blankets. We both slept beautifully through the evenings, no problem. The adjustable shades were great to let just enough light in for an early riser (me) and a sleeper-in (my husband). Excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Not to mention just how beautiful the bath was. Plenty of room in the closet too. Speaking on location, it could not have been more ideal. It really is in such a great neighborhood. Close enough downtown that the walk was short but not close enough to be hectic. The house is really in short walking distance to so many great cafe’s, restaurants, bars, museums, etc. We only took an Uber once, about 3 miles to the north and it was only $2US. Not too shabby. On a personal level, both Nadia and Fernando could not have been more helpful, communicative and friendly through our stay. They really are very lovely people and we look forward to staying with them again in the near future.

We are pretty discerning travelers, having stayed in a wide variety of hostels, rental homes, hotels, etc and we know when something just feels right, and Nuria's home really did. The main house has everything you need. A bluetooth speaker to listen to music from your phone, wifi, Netflix on the tv, beverages in the fridge to survive until your first walk to an OXXO, tons of information about the neighbourhood that is useful for first-timers to Merida and return visitors as well... Anything we thought we needed, we found. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the master bedroom's mattress and en suite bathtub were unbelievably comfortable. We were there in January, so it was a little rainy. The covered patio allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the warm air without getting wet, which was so nice. The location is really the star, despite the comfort and luxuries of the house. A very short walk gets you to Santa Lucia square, or up to Paseo de Montejo, yet you're tucked away enough that you feel you're not in a touristy area. It was even a short walk to the Lucas de Galvez market! Truly ideal. For a couple or two who likes their privacy, or a small family, this home will be a perfect home base to explore everything Merida has to offer.

We have stayed at Homeaway locations throughout the world and this ranks as one of our best experiences. Superb location in the Old City, with a short walk to restaurants, museums, shopping and the Paseo. Modern apartment with every need considered. Fernando and Nuria provided numerous personal touches including, cold drinks in the fridge, a basket of delicious fresh fruits and everything from toothbrushes and toothpaste to a pantry stocked with essentials, like salt/pepper, sugar etc. Very well equipped kitchen for those who love to cook. Quite and relaxing, with a poolside courtyard under a massive mango tree. We couldn't have been happier. We will return.

This was a perfect alternative to a hotel in Merida, it was top quality all the way! The home is just as shown in the photos. Everything worked very smoothly and the hosts were lovely to communicate with. Definitely happy with our choice.

My wife and I packed up the kids (ages 2, 7, and 9) for a month long stay in Mérida. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. The property was a short walk to all of the wonderful things the city center has to offer. When we felt like getting away from the city, we discovered a wealth of things to do within an hour's drive of the city. Our family enjoyed day trips to Mayan ruins, cenotes, and the beach. The owners were wonderful and have obviously put thought and care into their property. We had a couple of hic-ups over the course of the month, and the owners were there in a pinch to help. For example, when our 9 year old needed a doctor, Nuria put us in touch with her family physician and was nice enough to call and schedule an appointment (my junior high Spanish isn't the best). For longer stays, the owners provide a cleaning service twice a week, and it was certainly nice to come home to a spotless house. Kids and grown-ups alike enjoyed the pool. I have nothing but good things to say about the space, the owners, the immediate neighborhood, and this particular corner of the Yucatan.
