Perfect getaway!
The location is excellent and the beach is great here. Angie was a great host and had all of our questions answered. We were impressed by the boho/beach chic balanced by smart appointments. This is a great stay!!! Private outside showers for feet and body were necessary since we spent most of our time on the beach. We love to cook, so the kitchen and its wares made it easy. Grilling sessions at the patio were on point. The fenced-in grass yard was our Pup’s favorite. There’s a lot of detail here that caters to being able to chillax. We booked again for next year. 😁

Very nice and clean house. We had everything we needed. A lot of things for dogs (toys, treats, dog bed), beach equipment was provided by owner. Fully equipped kitchen. plenty of pots and dishes. Very nice outside dining area with a big table. Thank you, Angie! We will definitely be back one day!

Property and host were very nice and everything you need is included. Lighting in bathroom and bedrooms was dim for doing makeup and hair. The house is in a nice neighborhood but it's too far away from the center of town. Also note, no lifeguards at beach near the house. Otherwise everything was excellent!

A perfect setting for a short relaxing trip. The property had all the equipment we needed to enjoy the beach. The quiet north end location was great for accessing the state park. Restaurants and boardwalk were an easy 5 min drive. 10/10 would do it again!

Angie was super nice, had everything we needed and even allowed us to bring our extra pup! She left out a gift basket with snacks (which we all loved), a dog toy, laundry detergent, soap, paper plates and cups. It was a wonderful and thoughtful surprise! She had dog dishes there and a dog bed as well! She also washed some towels and our bedding in non-allergenic laundry detergent since I notified her of an allergy to fragrences! I will definitively stay there, again, when coming to VA beach! Highly recommend!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Angie!

The Verbo we stated was exceptional-clean close to the beach everything that we Needed. I would recommend this to anyone. We plan to go back there next year and hope that we may be able to stay at the same location. Angie is an excellent host.

This is an adorable house that has a soothing color scheme and is clean and comfortable. The weather for our short spring break escape was very cold and windy but our dog would still rate the experience as 5 stars! She loved her beach experience and appreciated the dog toy left in the welcome basket, too. We would highly recommend this rental.

Quiet, cute, and convenient for our long weekend stay while attending a conference at the VA Beach convention center. The beach is a 5 minute walk away. Dog friendly. All we had to bring was our food and luggage. The kitchen is well equipped. Great WiFi. We’ll certainly consider this property again.

This is our third visit to Va. Beach & this place has been the best. Pet friendly with no additional fee. Very clean, beach decor, along with a hospitality basket filled with goodies for us & our dog too. Fenced yard, well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, & beautiful tiled shower. Short walk to beach in a beautiful safe residential neighborhood. Hope to visit again.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay at the cozy dog-friendly duplex. Everything was very clean and exactly as advertised. It’s the perfect location, just 15 or so from downtown and a short, maybe 5 minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and the yard was perfect for our dog. I have stayed at several VRBOs in the past few years, and 3 just on this trip alone. This house was by far the best. Angela was amazing with her communication and accommodations. Not only were linens and towels (plenty) provided, but she also provide a beach wagon, several beach chair and toys and an umbrella (with a sand stake). The property is a short walk from the beach. The dolphins were very active during our stay and fun to watch.
I would highly recommend this house. It has EVERYTHING you need and more. And no hidden or un warranted fees.

This was our family's first time in Virginia Beach and our first trip to the beach with our 3 year old dog.
Angie's place was perfectly located to enjoy all of the beach going activities.
The home is within a 5 min walk of the beach, an 10 min bike ride to the state park, and if you have a DOD Id, you will have access to Fort Story.
The home has ample space for a family of 4 with a large breed dog.
Additionally, the outdoor space is large enough for the family to eat outdoors and enjoy the weather.
I would highly recommend this place.

This is the second time we stayed here and it did not disappoint. The beautiful beach is so close and the home is charming. It’s a perfect place to stay with pets. Angie was wonderful. The keurig machine broke one morning and within a few hours a brand new replacement machine was dropped off. We will definitely return! 💙

Honestly the week didn’t start off perfect. Our specific unit was not ready on the day of our arrival. But this is where the owner showed how awesome they are. They allowed us to stay in a neighboring unit for the night while our space was cleaned. The communication with the owner was excellent and they more than made up for the mishap. With someone else this could have been a disaster but the owner went above and beyond to fix the issue. We will not hesitate to stay again.
With that said the house was well appointed and very comfortable. We travelled as a family of four with kids aged 3 and 6. Everyone was comfortable and the location to the north end beach and First Landing State Park were awesome. We will definitely stay again.

This was a beautiful house with a nice fenced yard for our dogs. They even left milk bones and a treat for the dogs. It was just a short walk to the beach, and the house had everything we needed — beach cart, chairs, umbrella. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet.

Very conveniently located, steps away from the beach. We had to change our booking dates very last minute due to a sick child situation, and the host (Angie) was very accommodating. We appreciate the prompt and effective communication.
The property was equipped with family games and movies which we enjoyed very much. It’s also super dog friendly.
Overall we had a great time and would highly recommend this place.

I love this happy little dog cottage. It is the perfect place to get a little rest at the beach which is within walking distance. The owner is also very nice and goes out of her way to make your stay a pleasant one. I don’t go anywhere else! My little shitzu loves it too!

We just LOVED staying here and will be back! It was just perfect for my husband and I and our dog. The home was immaculate. I loved all of the "doggy touches" and was so touched by the welcome basket that included a toy for our dog - which is now her favorite. I took her for a walk every morning on the beach - it was so close. Can't wait to return.

I've stayed at this property for many years and many times throughout each year. The location is ideal to most things in the area with many different roadway options to get to your desired location.
The owner is very quick to respond if issues arise. For example: Recently a very bad storm came upon the area. The whole North end was left without power as was Ft. Story. The owner immediately handled the necessary call to the power company but what showed her going above and beyond was she herself was right in the middle of destruction. She lives near enough to the rental property but she experienced a tornado within 3 blocks of her home at the same time I was experiencing my issue. The power was restored after many hours but I always come prepared with a flashlight and a candle just in case. As for Angie, the owner, she was blessed not to have damage to her home. Her neighborhood is still struggling to recover from the tornado damage as the roads in her area have been closed to the public for major repair work from the tornado's damage. This is an owner that shows concern for her guests even as she is struggling at the same time with an even worse scenario than power going out.

We enjoyed our stay and it was close to attractions but out of the busy area. Good restaurants nearby. A quick walk to the beach. The only thing I would add is some dresser drawers for clothes. We were there for just 3 nights so not too bad living out of the suitcase. The neighborhood is quiet and great dog walking area which important when traveling with a dog.

Perfect for small gathering, loved that we could bring our dog too! Great fenced in yard. North End beach access is a very easy walk to end of block without busy streets to cross. Very thoughtful welcome basket with goodies for humans and pets alike.

We are return renters for this property. Everything was perfect. Angie is wonderful. The unit is incredibly clean and inviting. Angie's hospitality is unmatched. She provides everything needed for a wonderful visit, as well as a hospitality basket with supplies and a dog toy. My dog was smiling from ear-to-ear when we arrived. We both had a great time and already booked another visit for later this year.

This is our second stay at Angie's home, and we enjoyed our stay very much! The house is very clean and spacious, with a full kitchen and W/D, nice shower, comfy beds... and a short walk to the beach! We love that we can bring our doggies! Angie provides everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the thoughtful amenities really make you feel welcome. She is easy to reach and very responsive to any questions. Easy check in and everything was clean as advertised. The location is quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. 4 min walk to the beach! 2 adults, two teenagers and a dog fit perfectly. Owner left a nice basket full of goodies upon check-in which was much appreciated. The only very minor downside is that it's a bit of an older home with some normal wear and tear but nothing crazy or anything. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future. Thx.
