Magnifique maison sur mesure construite en 2015. Plan d'étage ouvert fabuleux avec une vue incroyable de chaque pièce de la maison, parfait pour se divertir. Beaux planchers de bois partout. Il s'agit d'une maison en bord de mer personnalisée de 5 chambres, 4 salles de bain et demie avec une mini-chambre pour bébé.
La maison a une cuisine gastronomique de rêve, entièrement équipée avec un ensemble complet de casseroles et poêles All-Clad, cuisinière à gaz de 48 "à 6 brûleurs, fours doubles, îlot de 7 pieds, étagères à épices entièrement chargées, réfrigérateur à vin. Il ne manque rien à cette cuisine! Sur les ponts, vous trouverez des meubles de terrasse haut de gamme, un gril au propane Weber Summit en acier inoxydable et une balançoire de lit sur mesure.
Il y a trois chambres principales décorées par des professionnels, chacune avec sa propre salle de bain luxueuse et une porte privée donnant sur la terrasse en bord de mer. This was a truly wonderful place to stay. I was able to see both the sunrise and the sunset from the back porch and really enjoyed the time in the swing listening to the waves. The Pointe West neighborhood is well kept, quiet and has two really nice beach clubs that you can pay to get access to. Inside the house, there are three "master" suites and two kids room. The kitchen is well stocked with beautiful appliances and pans. Our host was helpful, communicative and the property manager was there when we needed her. Overall, this was a fantastic experience!

The home was perfect for out family which ranged from 5 mos to 83. Plenty of space and we loved waking up to the beautiful sea view. Every appliance one could think of was provided in the excellently well equipped kitchen. The girls had a great time picking out beach toys and which umbrella to use. The walk was not too long. Our 5 night stay was just too short. We hope to return soon!

This home was perfect for our large family group! It was just a short walk to the beach, the home was well supplied from the amazing kitchen to the beach items available to use. Our host answered all my questions and had wonderful information and suggestions to make our stay even better. It was a great experience!

Our 2nd visit to this home and I hope more to come. We love the location and we love the comfort of the home.. Kay and Ray have been fantastic with their communication and accomodations. Very accessible. We love the porches all around this home and just feel very comfortable staying in this location. The accessories downstairs in the room are plentiful, bicylcle, surf boards, sand toys, chairs, etc....its all their and well kept. Porches off all bedrooms with plush chairs and sitting areas provided. The kitchen is a knock-out. Everything you would possible need is at your fingertips.
We "just love this home" and hope to stay their again. Thank you Kay and Raymond for your most pleasant accomcodatiosn and your friendly communication.

The Lightcatcher house in the Pointe West community was the perfect set up for our annual 4 generation vacation! The house was beautiful, well equipped for cooking for a large family as well as everything you need to enjoy the beach. Every room has an amazing view! There was even baby gates to keep the toddlers safe from the stairs and a small napping room with a crib. I highly recommend renting a golf cart to cruise around the community to one of two pools, pickle ball courts and beach club! The bikes provided were also a fun way to explore the neighborhood in the evening! We hope to be back in the future!

We had a wonderful time at Lightcatcher even with the high winds all week. We had 10 of our family there- 5 children and 5 adults. With 3 kings, bunk room and 2 twins, the bedroom set up was perfect. The kitchen was beautiful and extremely well stocked. The house and deck has a spectacular 180 degree waterfront view which you never tire of. With 5 cars and an 8 passenger golf cart we had plenty of parking space. Pointe West has tremendous amenities ranging from 2 pools, lazy river, restaurant and rec room. Kay was so helpful prior to our arrival providing house info, Galveston restaurants and activities for the kids. Thanks for being such a wonderful host!

My children and teenage grandchildren enjoyed this beautifully decorated home with space for all. The views from every angle are superb. The kitchen is a chefs delight with space for more than 1 cook. The cooking utensils and serving dishes accommodated our various types of prep. and service. Decks are huge and all around the home - even off the bedrooms on 3rd floor. Great Place and it really is a LIGHTCATCHER.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful house. It was so close to the beach and so well stocked. They had everything we needed. We loved relaxing on the back porch overlooking the gulf. Would absolutely stay here again.

I cannot imagine finding a better beach house than this one (Lightcatcher)! It had everything you would ever need for a fabulous family vacation. From a VERY well stocked garage with all sorts of fun things for the beach to a beautiful gourmet kitchen with everything you would need for cooking. The bedrooms were gorgeous and oh so comfortable. It even has a little room with a crib for our little one. We will DEFINITELY be back here again. The hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. Really, just bring your beach towels, swimsuits and food and you will have a blast! No other beach house has been this nice and we have stayed in many!!!

This is hands down the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. The property is beautiful inside and out and the location was perfect. There truly are ocean views from every room. The furnishings are upscale and well maintained. You can tell right away that the owners care about their house. Kay is terrific owner. She is very responsive and truly cares about your stay experience. From the kitchen to bathrooms to the outdoor shower (excellent place to shower off sandy grand kids.), we loved the house and hope to stay again in the future.

Everything was great but the walk to beach.. we are ladies only and found that it was exhausting taking everything to the beach. .The stairs and wagons are tuff, need a ramp or something .

This was our 7th year to stay at this beautiful property. Property is immaculate and offers many amenities for the whole family. Close to the beach, Beach Club and lazy river. We've watched our grandchildren grow up at this property and have made memories to last a lifetime here. Owners are very responsive and easy to work with. I'd give this property 10 stars if I could.

We spent Thanksgiving in Galveston with our family (6 adults). We really enjoyed this beautiful, well appointed home. Lovely, wide ocean views and a very easy, short stroll to the beach. Everything was included to prepare a holiday meal (we love to cook). Kay was very friendly, hospitable and accommodating, with excellent communication, could not ask for a better host. There were lots of beach accessories included in the garage and we utilized the beach wagons & chairs for a few days of fishing on the beach, right behind the house. We caught lots of Whiting and really enjoyed the beach, which was never crowded. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the open family room off the kitchen had lots of light and was the perfect space to relax. It’s a bit of a drive into town, but the quiet, peaceful location was perfect for us. We will absolutely stay here again! Thank you, Kay!

We had a great time at this house with two young families and children (infant and 2 toddlers). The house itself is spectacular compared to your more traditional beach houses with a more updated appearance and upscale amenities. It is very child friendly for young kiddos - the baby crib room was great and they have a gate for the stairs to keep everything safe. Anything you could ever need for the beach is available to use in one of the garages beneath the house (tent, chairs, toys, wagons, boogie boards, etc). Plus the amenities you get access to via Pointe West (pool, lazy river, restaurant) were also a nice separate activity to take the kids to if we didn't want to do the beach. Lastly the owners/property managers were very responsive to last minute questions we had in the days before our trip. We had a great time and will definitely keep this setup in consideration when we plan our next trip.

This home was beautifully decorated with bright, feel good colors. The kitchen was the best of the best with top grade oven, stove, microwave and wine fridgerator. The kitchen had every utensil you could ever possbibly need. Beds were very comfortable and the baby room was perfect for our grandson to sleep. We had a great time renting a golf cart to ride around the community and over to the Bay Side. It was a very enjoyable home. Great sound system to play music inside and outside. The host and hostess thought of everything to make it a resort type home. Having the use of the community club house and pool was a great plus!

Fabulous home
Outstanding visit. Incredible views from all the large decks. We could have stayed on the decks forever. This home has everything you could ever want, at your fingertips. Kitchen is amazing and the dining area is great for any family gathering. Very well furnished kitchen. All bedrooms have fans and tv. Bathroom is lovely. Can’t wait to come back. We are spoiled now.

Amazing Home!
This was our 6th year to stay at this amazing home in Galveston. Property is perfect for families or groups that want beach access, and the most beautiful ocean views around. Home is amazing with a kitchen that begs to be used. We never left the house to eat out. Owners are easy to work with and truly care that your stay is wonderful. We will be back!

Wonderful Getaway
The property was wonderful. The house was clean, comfortable, and large enough for everyone to have their own space for our party of 12. The beach was just an easy walk away, and was not crowded at all. We had one small issue with the Master shower, but the owners responded quickly and were so nice about it. We all enjoyed out stay!!

Great family weekend!
This was our second time to rent this house. The house is very nice, the location is perfect, and the owners are very generous with start up supplies as well as with items a family might need for the beach and pool. We will definitely consider renting this house again.
