Belle maison d'artisan 1908 (appartement au sous-sol avec vue sur le jardin) au coeur de l'un des quartiers les plus recherchés de Portland! Belles demeures historiques, magnifiques boulevards bordés d'arbres, gens merveilleux et extrêmement proches de nombreux restaurants et magasins. De nombreux quartiers merveilleux et énergiques entourent le quartier historique d'Irvington, mais elle est la grande dame de tous!
Le quartier Irvington est inscrit au registre national des lieux historiques et il est très central. Vous pouvez aller n'importe où à Portland en 10 minutes. Une voiture n'est pas absolument nécessaire, marchez jusqu'au MAX (système de transport - 10 minutes) et la ligne de bus est au coin de la rue. Great location. Concrete floor. Bedroom was stuffy with poor circulation unless the door is open, which you'd rather not do with others sleeping on the pullout couch. Pullout couch is fine but no linens or blankets. When asked about it, owner blamed us for not calling for help, but it was very late. Then blame us for not reading the "Welcome email" from Vrbo. Nothing there. Scanned the code later. Not there. Kids slept without linen but found a blanket on the laundry floor. The "house rules" required renter to clean up the unit, which no other Vrbo host asks for. So what's the "service fee" and "host fees" for which doubles the upfront cost?

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Portland! You can walk to Moda Center if seeing a show and there are lots of nearby options for food within walking distance as well. Just a drive to check out other parts of Portland. I would definitely stay here again!

Needed a comfy place to stay a couple nights while visiting my daughter. There was a small leak issue, which was handled right away once reported.

Nice spot in historic Irvington neighborhood with bus stop, coffee shops, restaurants, and brew pubs all within walking distance. Mark was incredibly responsive to all my questions. Apartment was clean and comfortable with more than enough natural light. Washer/dryer was nice to have, too. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay- the location was convenient and the neighborhood was very nice and had several restaurants and businesses within walking distance. The check-in was straightforward and easy as well.
Our only complaint was that the unit was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival- when we got to the unit we discovered trash under the bed, leftover food left in the freezer from a previous stay, and trash that had not made it in the bathroom trashcan as well- not a dealbreaker, but it did make us worry about what other corners were cut in the cleaning process! If the owner is using a professional service, they might want to think about using a different one!

My sister and I have nothing but great things to stay about this place. The space was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the appliances worked well, the location was great (so close to cute coffee shops, cafes and grocery stores) and the hosts were so helpful, kind and really helped make our stay a great one. They were quick to respond to any of our questions and so accommodating. If I'm ever in Portland again, I would absolutely stay here again.

The property was mostly as described with the exception of walking distance to the Rose Quarter. We had come into town to watch the Trailblazers and picked the property since it was advertised an 8 minute walk. However, the actual walking distance was closer to 30 minutes. It's all good, exercise is welcomed, but this was a big part our decision to book.
The property itself was in good condition and mostly clean, however there were some crumbs on the sofa where one of us slept and they were not made by us.
Overall this is a good property to stay in if you want to be in the area and close enough to Moda Center to where you don't have to Uber.

We really enjoyed our six night stay at this charming lower unit. The NE neighborhood was charming and quiet at night. The lower unit had lots of light. You could open the windows and get lots of fresh air and sunlight. They had a nice backyard with a BBQ and outdoor table. The bed was comfy. Overall a good find.

This is a perfect little apartment for a single person or a couple. It’s updated, quiet, great location to downtown Portland. Great walkable neighborhood with restaurants, coffee shop, Whole Foods and a Safeway near by. The beach, Mount Hood and Mount St Helen’s are all 1-1 1/2 hours away. We would definitely stay there again.

This is our second time staying at Irvington House and it couldn't be much better! We have family in Portland and Washington and the backyard was perfect for our gatherings.
My husband and I feel very at home in the apartment and, with all the amenities as well as access to laundry, couldn't want for anything. The location is FANTASTIC - beautiful neighborhood, easy access to shopping and dining.
When we return to Portland, we will come home to Irvington House.

We loved how quiet it was at night and cozy. Loved being greeted each morning by the blooming flowers just outside the kitchen and livingroom windows.
The place was clean and inviting, also the linens smelled clean but not bathed in scent thankfully. The knives were actually sharp, which you don't always find.
We didn't get to spend much time in the back yard, but when the weather is more amiable for a cookout, it's set up lovely to do just that and chill.
Beautiful neighborhood and great coffee place just a quick walk to the end of the block.
Last, but not least, Mark was quick to respond to any questions and generous with his time. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back!

This trip was about rediscovering the city after being away for many years. Portland is still a fun place with great walking, great transit, lots to see, and superlative food.
Our apartment was very convenient to the many restaurants in the neighborhood and had easy access to downtown. It was just as described and more. The kitchen is well-stocked and fully functional. And the bed was very comfy. Highly recommend.

I booked this place 2 years in a row now to attend a week long belly dance intensive and needed a place within walking distance of the studio hosting the intensive. The basement unit was easy to get into and had everything you need for multiple people. The neighborhood itself is very nice and safe. You can easily walk at night with no issue. It's also within walking distance of a Safeway if you need groceries in addition to a few good dining options. I especially loved that a new coffee shop opened literally 500 feet from the property.
