Notre code postal est Sugar Grove, mais la cabane est à seulement 5 km du magasin général historique Mast à Valle Crucis et est située dans un quartier agricole rural juste à côté de la Watauga River Road. Vous pourrez pêcher, faire du canoë ou nager dans la rivière Watauga à 3,2 km. Apportez votre vélo de montagne et profitez de la pente douce de la Watauga River Road ... ou pour un peu plus d'aventure, laissez notre expert en vélo de montagne résident vous recommander un sentier à proximité qui correspond à vos capacités ...
Aucune climatisation nécessaire à notre endroit ombragé dans les montagnes fraîches de NC. La cabine a des ventilateurs de plafond dans chaque chambre et dans les deux espaces de vie pour aider à ces journées chaudes occasionnelles en été.
Les boutiques de l'historique magasin général Mast ne sont qu'à 4,8 km. Des restaurants de tous types se trouvent à proximité de Banner Elk, Boone et Blowing Rock ainsi qu'un couple dans le village de Valle Crucis lui-même. Des sentiers de randonnée sont disponibles sur place ou à une courte distance en voiture. Tyrolienne à Hawksnest est à 25 minutes. Animaux non admis.
Et pendant les mois d'hiver ... Trois stations de ski sont dans un délai de 25 à 40 min. conduire. Le ski de fond sur place est disponible si les conditions de neige sont bonnes. Le snow tubing est une option pour les non-skieurs dans certaines stations de ski à proximité. À la fin de la journée, rentrez chez vous dans un bain à remous relaxant. Quatre roues motrices ou traction intégrale est nécessaire pour l'allée s'il neige.

My friend and I had the most wonderful and relaxing time at Bear tree cabin while enjoying the NC mountains. The drive way was a little rough, but we had no problems with my 4 wheel drive truck. The cabin was very clean and immaculate. Angela the property manager was great in informing us on things relating to the cabin and responded quickly if you had questions. It was so quiet and secluded and was not far from all the things to do in Valle Crucis, Boone, and Banner Elk. I would highly recommend this property. If I ever am back to NC I would most definitely stay at bear tree cabin.

This property met our expectations in lots of good ways. It was clean. Things were well-labeled, which was helpful. There were heaters and fans in all rooms. The hot tub was clean and had already been heated up ahead of time. Extra towels were conveniently located for the hot tub. The bedroom on the ground floor was great for our older family member, and we could easily use the top floor for others. Angela was a great communicator throughout the request process and stay. We enjoyed our time with family here, and would stay here again.

The cabin is tucked back in the woods with views of the woods rather than mountains or river. The driveway can be a bit of a challenge but we have four wheel drive and are accustomed to gravel, country roads. The drive into downtown Valle Cruises is at least ten minutes, and 3.6 miles over winding roads. The kitchen is well equipped with a nice, large table that seats 8-10 and lots of windows. The bedrooms and beds are comforable as are the bathrooms. The heater in the bathroom is a real bonus. Heat is easily controlled in the house and the outdoor living spaces are great, a big front porch and a nice back porch. The hot tub is nicely placed and one of the cleanest I have seen, ready to jump into at the right temperature with sparkling water. The host is very good with communication and the notes around the cabin are helpful.

Super clean cabin. Easy to access main road. Perfectly located on the property for privacy. Several spots to lounge inside and outside the cabin. Can’t say enough good things.

We loved our stay at Bear Tree Cabin. It was the perfect place for our family to find some R & R in the mountains. The cabin had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and exploring the wooded property around the cabin. The house was super clean and the check-in/out process couldn't have been easier. We'll never forget Angela's warmth and kindness when she generously overnighted a very special stuffed animal that had been left behind.

We came into town to celebrate our 15 year olds birthday. We went snow tubing and explored the area. The cabin was close to everything we wanted and needed and a perfect size for us and 3 teenage boys. It is a beautiful well cared for home. We were surprised how warm we stayed, we were very comfortable. I think the best part was waking up to snow falling and watching it fall while we cooked breakfast out the huge windows in the dining room. Just beautiful.

With our children getting older & busy with work/school, we have fewer & fewer opportunities to spend time together as a family. Bear Tree Cabin was the perfect place for us to disconnect from the world & reconnect as a family. Angela is a wonderful host & the cabin/hot tub were incredibly well taken care of & clean. We will definitely be back!!

A lovely property tucked in the mountains and close to the Watauga River. 100% as advertised. Two large king bed suites and cool loft area. We enjoyed the big kitchen, fireplace, hot tub, and rocking chairs on the front porch. Perfect getaway. We left very relaxed and grounded. Highly recommend Bear Tree Cabin. We'll be back!

Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Cozy house to wind down in after a day exploring. We spent a lot of time in the Blowing Rock area and house was not too far from our activities. The printable map was a lifesaver! The moment we left the house we had no service and having that on hand was SUPER helpful for getting around until cell service picked up. Next time I will bring a full map of the area (which I already own, but left at home) because sections of the parkway also do not have service.

Very nice property hidden in the woods of the North Carolina Mountains.
Clean, comfortable stay and we really enjoyed being in the woods.
Phone coverage: One thing some people will need to know is if you have Verizon your phone won't work until you've connected it to the home's wi fi. Once you do that you'll be in great shape.

The house was very well maintained, and had a very simple/easy check-in and checkout process. However, we had a bit of trouble with the driveway even without any snow. We ended up backing up the driveway, since we would get stuck going up normally. Other than that one hiccup, we had a wonderful stay here.

My husband and I visited Bear Tree Cabin in August for our 25th wedding anniversary. We had the best time and would go back again tomorrow if we could. The cabin is clean, cozy, and comfortable. Even though there were just two of us it seemed like there would be plenty of room for larger gatherings. Angela has included lots of little touches to make your stay more pleasant. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor seating. The property is private and quiet. I am so glad we went with this cabin, we couldn't have had a better time!

My husband and I decided to take a last minute getaway to Tweetsie with our little girl. We found Bear Creek Cabin and it was the perfect place to stay! Angela was easy and prompt to communicate with, and the cabin had everything we needed! It was so cozy,clean and charming.We can not wait to book again!

We had a wonderful stay at Bear Tree Cabin. It was clean and in a good location in Valle Crucis. The host for Bear Tree Cabin was great! We could tell she was thoughtful in her instructions and how items in the cabin were labeled/explained, and she was very responsive.

Fantastic cabin that is secluded, yet convenient to Boone. Very clean and well kept. Check in and checkout were a breeze. Host was very responsive.

This was our 4th time renting this property, and we were just as happy with it this year as all of the other times. The cabin was clean, comfortable, check-in was easy, and the property manager Angela is very responsive. We love the Valle Crucis area, and are looking forward to our next visit.
