À propos de cette location de vacances
Beautiful Victorian Home Historical Landmark. Downtown Denver, walk 2 everything

Fabulous, cozy, spacious house with real character. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

This house has so much history and character! We loved it. Very clean, comfortable and amazing location. We could walk literally to any restaurant we wanted. The neighborhood doesn't feel like you're in the city, which was crazy, and was very quiet. Highly recommend! Thank you to our great hosts.

My husband and I were in Denver for a family event, and I was looking for a nice house with at least three bedrooms, so that my sister and her husband could stay with us. The house was beautifully furnished, and had a very interesting historic past. While it wasn’t as close as I originally thought it was to my sisters house in Cherry Creek, it was only a short drive away, so that worked out fine. Getting the locks to work was a little tricky, but after a phone call with the owner, we worked it out. I would caution that there are stairs, so, if guests have mobility issues that might be something to think about. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bathrooms were modern and overall the house was very nice to stay in. AC also worked very well which was appreciated as the weather was hot during the weekend.

Beautiful piece of History.
My family and I had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the backyard space, and the beautiful front room for entertaining. Took our kids to the buffalo bill museum and grave site. Great Mother’s Day weekend. Owners attentive with great communication. Thank you, again.

Summer Break
The home was very well taken care of. We had an issue with the air conditioner and it was taken care of promptly. The yard wasn't well taken care of, and there were a lot of people that hung out in the streets. We didn't have any issues and we enjoyed our stay.

wanted to give ZERO stars for all categories, however, that is NOT an option
The cabin is not in the condition represented in pictures, the owners are late to respond for conformation of stay, communication. This experience has been the worst service, coming from a frequent traveler!! I have yet to have conformation on refund from VRBO company nor owners.

Perfect Weekend Rental
This was the perfect spot for our group trip. We came to Denver for Labor Day weekend getaway. The location was good, not right downtown, but a very close drive to cute neighborhoods and the downtown scene. The house is well equipped, in good condition, and the hosts were very easy to work with. We would highly recommend for groups or families visiting Denver.

Awesome, highly recommended!
Where do I even begin...four of us stayed here for a week in May/June. We were there for a work conference and were a bit worried about being so far from the convention centre. But the train is like two blocks away and a super safe walk.
Like the others said, the pictures are 100% accurate, this place is AMAZING. It's got an awesome mix of ol'school yet completely renovated and comfortable. The living spaces downstairs are fantastic and we spent many evening hours with wine just chilling out. The TV is fully loaded with Netflix and regular channels. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need - seriously, blenders, slow cooker...you name it.
The upstairs is creeky like an old house usually is so if you stay awake later than the rest of your group, walk carefully! The rooms are a great size and each has either a closet or dresser (or both). The bathroom is massive and there is both washer and dryer (which we totally used).
I think the only downside the entire week was the Air Conditioning. We had to turn it on around day 4 and found that it didn't really go upstairs so there were a few hot nights. But it wasn't painful enough to complain about. I'm sure the host would have come right over, she was super helpful leading up to our arrival.
Anyway, this place is highly recommended. It made us feel right at home in Denver!

Great Stay!
We had a wonderful time in this house. It was easy to access, the owners were very organized and assisted well in the booking process, the house was perfectly clean. It is just as the photos depict. While there isn't much in walking distance as far as bars or restaurants, we took the nearby D Line train nearly everywhere without any hiccups. We would definitely stay again, thanks for the hospitality!

Great rental home, well situation
We had an excellent five-night stay here in early September with our two-year old and nanny. The house is accurately described and pictured. Well equipped, especially for cooking/dining. The owner and property manager were very responsive in addressing a minor concern of ours. We were very pleased with our stay and would happily return on our next Denver trip.

A Beautiful House in a Perfect Location!
It's quite rare that a vacation rental will live up to the expectations portrayed in photos. This property was not as described. It was way better than depicted in the listing and surpassed our expectations. Location wise it couldn't be better - walking distance to many attractions and since Denver is so walkable this was wonderful. Just the walk around the historic Whittier district was breathtaking. All lovely Victorian houses that breaths history.
The actual property is pristine and really wonderful. It is very nicely furnished and together with the old-charm feeling and the fantastic history (this is actually the house where Buffalo Bill spent his last days, and took his last breath!!!) this is just awesome. What a house!. The owners where accommodating, easy to reach and responsive to any questions or issues. Highly recommended and a place we definitely will return to. Thank you Beth and Peter!
