The location was great, 15 minute walk to City Center. The owner was nice and very helpful. However, there are some things that need attention in the flat. The bathroom floor has some squishy places where the floor was not properly installed. The kitchen table has bad places in it. I felt like the lock on the front door is a fire hazard because you lock it with a key and in case of fire, might make it difficult to get out. We left the key in the door just for that emergency. There is no electrical plug in the bath room so I could not use the mirror to dry my hair. The beds were comfortable and the living room was bright and the sofa was comfortable. We had a great time in Scotland but think some things needs to be addressed.

The apartment was clean and bright In Gorbals area of Glasgow. We were only given an approx location when we booked which on reflection was not very helpful as it was further than we thought. We didn’t walk into the centre as it was too far through demolition sites and busy roads. Uber and taxi were fine to collect and drop us. There is a supermarket close by.

We spent 4 days there recently and the flat was really lovely, warm, clean and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet and had a couple of shops nearby for groceries. We had a parking spot right outside the property too. The flat is very clean and modern and about a 15-20 min walk from the centre of Glasgow. The owner was really lovely and friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend and stay there again if I was ever visiting Glasgow again.

We stayed at this property for 8 days . It is in a very quiet and amiable location on the riverside of New Gorbals .
The bedrooms are very comfortable as is the lounge . The kitchen facilities are excellent.
And there lots of useful shops within two minutes.
Including a large coop . Lots of free parking outside the apartment . We looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Marcia and her family rate 10 stars as hosts! Her usband and son hauled all our luggage up the two long flights of stairs when we arrived, and Marcia had stocked the friidge with milk and breakfast goodies. Their flat is lovely, well equipped, very quiet - exactly as pictured, and if you have a car, the neighbourhood is fine. We found it to be a bit isolated, and had huge difficulties getting taxis - apparently there's a shortage of drivers in Glasgow. We forfeited £100, because our prebooked taxi didn't show up to get us to a tour one morning. Uber turned out to be more reliable. So great flat, and wonderful hosts - 5 stars for sure.

My travel companion and I loved staying in Marcia's lovely apartment. She was so communicative and attentive to our needs. Check in was effortless. The space is lovely, comfortable and quiet. We appreciated being near a grocery store, a good cafe and within an easy walk to the bustle of Argyll Street. Highly recommend!

We would definitely book this Vrbo again. The location is perfect with walking distance into the central city of Glasgow. Very convenient grocery store walking distance around the corner. Very clean, comfortable beds and quiet relaxing atmosphere

Excellent in all regards
Many others have written about the virtues of this place, the big spaces, the comfortable big beds with the best comforters (!) The new well equipped kitchen and sparkling bathroom with HUGE tub as well as shower.
But what impressed me most was the excellent lighting in all the rooms. Much due to the big picture window that could give you hours of pleasure just watching that ever changing Gladgow sky. All of the rooms had natural light as well as good reading lamps on BOTH SIDES of both beds, something not in our 20 years experience in VRBOs. We both like to read before bed so this was a real pleasure!
Marcia is beyond a perfect host, always there to answer a question or recommend good places to visit and/or dine.

Wonderful central apartment in peaceful location
We very much enjoyed our stay at Marcia's apartment. The location is perfect as it's not far from the centre of Glasgow and the location was very peaceful. The apartment was immaculate and has everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend and if I'm ever in Glasgow again I will be sure to return.

Perfect Glasgow stay
Marcia and Kevin provide a spotless flat that was superbly comfortable for us. We enjoyed being out of the bustle of the city centre at the end of our sightseeing days. Beds are comfortable and the area was very quiet, even with windows open. The community green and the Gorbals Rose Garden are lovely spaces. Groceries were close by. We used the Hop-on-hop-off bus as our main transport (2 day pass) and picked it up at stop #6, a pleasant river walk from the flat. I would highly recommend this flat for a Glasgow visit.

This was such a treat to find for a short visit to see family. Beautiful home with top notch amenities, in an excellent location just a short walk away from Merchant City. Marcia was so lovely - she gave us a tour around the property and excellent recommendations for local food and sights to see! Thank you so much, we would love to be back!!

Marcia's communication and friendliness was great. Apartment very convenient for central Glasgow but also southern Glasgow which is why we booked there; parking right in front of apartment. Spacious, warm and comfortable 2 bedroom flat. Highly recommended.

lovely two bedroom flat in Glasgow
My 24 year old daughter and I just spent 5 days in this two bedroom flat near the River Clyde. It was everything we hoped for - very quiet and yet close enough to the city center that we could walk. The subway was also about a 10-15 minute walk which could take us anywhere we wanted to go in Glasgow. Our host Marcia and her husband were very helpful in settling us in and directing us to the nearby market and restaurants. The flat is extremely comfortable - we would happily return!!

Marcia, the property owner, really looked after us. We travelled with our 2 children (including a baby) and they absolutely loved staying here, as did we. Location wise, the apartment is close to all the amenities and easy to reach the motorway. It is a quiet place too, I didn't hear anyone above or below us when we were there, amazing!My advice to anyone considering staying in this apartment - go and stay there, you will be so pleased you did!

Lovely flat!
Marcia was very easy to communicate with. She met us at the flat when we arrived in Glasgow and was warm and welcoming (showed us how everything worked and provided info about the area). For a city apartment, the flat is quite a bit bigger than we expected. It was sparkling clean, it's bright and airy, very comfortable. The location is wonderful. There's a market just around the corner, which was super convenient. Walking into to heart of the city is very easy. Buses, taxis, and trains are all easily accessible. We enjoyed 3 wonderful days without a car before heading south via train. And the neighborhood is quiet, so it's a wonderful place to rest between adventures and sleeping was easy. Highly recommend.

Couldn't have been better!
We have stayed in Glasgow a number of times but this location in the Gorbals was new to us. We wanted to be closer to our children who live nearby and this flat was well situated for that. They walked from Kinning Park to us daily. We had a well-stocked market, pharmacy and several small breakfast places within a minute or two's walk of the flat. Parking spaces were easy to come by directly in front of the flat. Further afield (across the Clyde) we walked to Glasgow Green, People's Palace and the City Centre. A main road was easily accessible for car trips further afield.
The flat itself was exactly as pictured ~ most attractive and decorated with the comfort of guests in mind. WiFi was faster than we have at home! I don't know if the building is always as quiet but during our ten day visit, we never heard a peep from another tenant or from outside. Yet, it felt perfectly safe and there was evidence of children playing in the back garden.
Marcia was extremely responsive before, during and after our visit. We couldn't have asked for a better HomeAway host. Now that our son and daughter in law live in Glasgow full-time, we will return to this attractive flat. Thank you Marcia for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful Apartment .
The apartment was everything we could ask for, the host was very accommodating and helped throughout the process. Communication was down to the tee and we had a nice greeting, making that check in a little more easy.
The apartment itself was spacious for our family, and had all the amenities we needed. The host was above and beyond making it that bit more extra comfortable for us.
Convenience stores are just around the corner with everything you could need and handy parking just outside.
Would definitely return when we get the opportunity in the future.
