Notre maison est située dans le centre, à distance de marche des excellents restaurants et cafés d'Ohakune, d'un supermarché, d'une bibliothèque et d'un service de location. Une aire de jeux pour enfants est proche.
La maison a deux salons - un en haut et un en bas. Salon à l'étage avec TV TNT et DVD.
Belle vue sur le mont Ruapehu depuis le salon.
Cuisine entièrement équipée comprenant un lave-vaisselle. Nous vous fournissons de la poudre à vaisselle et du détergent, du thé, du café et du sucre ainsi qu'un sac à ordures prépayé.
Il y a une buanderie / salle de séchage équipée d'un radiateur et d'un déshumidificateur. Il y a beaucoup de places de stationnement dans la rue.
Une propriété très privée entièrement clôturée.

Spacious, great fire, all you need for mountain trip. Good value.

House was well equipped and had everything we needed. Bonus was that it is much more spacious than we expected, plenty of room for 8 adults. All rooms were clean and tidy (we have stayed at other houses in ohakune for Mardi Gras weekend and have found them to be untidy), thanks for a great stay!

Overall a great place to stay, everything you'd expect to be at a Bach was there... Except snow.

We stayed in July school holidays and there were 10 of us (5adults,5kids) and lots of room for all of us. Fire was great, and lots of space. It was very wet so we didn’t get to run around outside but large lawn was nice. TV didn’t work and no wifi (but coming) but we found we didn’t need either. House a little dated and worn around edges, but didn’t matter. Close to town (we walked) and central to mountain and everything else.

Lots of space for the whole family allowing us all some adult time with kids playing in the other lounge. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. Many thanks for a great stay!

Probably the worst place I have ever stayed at. It was dirty, tired, broken appliances, no tv. Absolute disgrace to be charged what they charge. Tv had no connection, broken remotes, no batteries. Electric blanket required 2 power sockets and only has 1 in the room. Obviously the owner has never stayed. I would not recommend even to my worst enemy. Appalling would be one word to discribe.

Everything we needed was provided in this property so we could focus on getting up the mountain and out of the trails. Great box of toys for the kids, full kitchen to cook a good meal and amazing hot water showers!

Owen and Jeanette were very accomodating and helpful throughout our stay. Their home is warm, clean and close to the shops. We had such a great time in Ohakune. Jeanette's communication with us was great especially when the roads closed because of the snow. Highly recommended and we can't wait to visit again next year. Thank you Owen and Jeanette x

Close to Turoa ski field. Fireplace kept us warm every night! Shower pressure - amazing! Good place to stay after a full day of skiing for sure.

Mardi Gras 2020
We booked this house for Mardi Gras 2020 early in the year. After 2 delays and the owners being very accomodating we final got our weekend away. It was a fantastic weekend. The accomodation has plenty of space for everyone and is well equip for cooking. Location is perfect for access to the main shops and the bars.

Perfect for us
We had a lovely time with our big family group staying here. Jeanette was so helpful, quick to respond and accommodating. Plenty of fire wood stored right outside front door ready to use (great bonus). Will definitely be back to stay again.

Perfect base for the mountain
The property was a great base for the mountain, and accommodated two families easily. Everything there to provide a relaxed stay. The owner have good communication and couriered me items we left behind which I really appreciated.The only issues was with the bookings being changed after we booked and confirmed online and the cleaning. You pay a cleaning fee but are still expected to clean the kitchen and vacuum the whole house with is very odd. The cleaning fee is only for the bathrooms which is not specified when you book.

Proper beds, lots of room, great drying area, good kitchen ... this is the perfect base for a ski weekend with the family. Or two families. We will be back.
