Poca flessibilità da parte dello staff. Fissare la colazione alle 8.30 non permette si organizzarsi con tutte le attività che offre il paese.

Ein sehr hübsches Hostel in ruhiger und guter Lage zur Altstadt.
Die Bar hat abends geöffnet, es gibt eine Küche mit allem Notwendigen um sich Kleinigkeiten zu kochen.

Great vibe at this hostel. The perfect first base for landing in Oaxaca. Good breakfast and a super nice space to meet other travelers.

Prima kamer, aan de kleine kant maar wel met genoeg opbergmogelijkheden voor je bagage. Geen tafel/stoel o.i.d. Badkamer is klein en de wasbak is in de kamer. Je kreeg 1 handdoek per persoon voor het douchen, deze werd tijdens ons verblijf niet vervangen (is niet erg voor ons). Zeep en andere douche amenities beschikbaar. Ontbijt is goed. Brood, fruit en cornflakes met melk. Daarnaast nog iets extra's wat per dag verschilt.
De locatie. Het is echt nog wel 20 minuten lopen naar het centrum en in de buurt zit niet echt een restaurant of winkel. Hostel raad ook aan om na 21:00 niet meer te lopen over straat. Maar wij hebben ons niet onveilig gevoeld. Wij misten een klein handdoekje voor je handen, bij de wasbak. Immers, je handdoek hangt vaak te drogen in de badkamer. De kamer is erg gehorig, het kijkt uit op de bar/binnenplaats waar de andere hostelgangers elkaar ontmoeten. Wel stilte na 23:00 (1x 24:00 in het weekend, maar prima). De gordijnen zijn héél erg doorschijnend, hierdoor is het gauw licht in de ochtend.

The hostel is really beautiful and extremely clean (I even saw cleaning ladies taking out mattresses to remove stains handwashing them and cleaning under) and well organised. The service is really attentive, professional and friendly. If you arrive earlier you can find yourself a comfortable spot to wait and if you are leaving late, then you can safely leave your stuff in the hostel. I read that breakfasts are really basic and I was nicely surprised. You receive a plate of fresh, various fruits and two other small plates with cerreals & crepes, totally tasty! Hostel is walk distance from the strict center.

Really cute courtyard in the middle and beautiful rooftop terrace. Angel at the desk was super helpful and friendly! It was a very social hostel while we were there but not a party hostel - just groups hanging out, cooking and going out during the day. The private room was really well sized for 2 people.
It's a bit further out from the city (about a 10minute walk south) in an area where not too much is happening.

I liked very much the atmosphere, the staff, so helpful, and the cleanness of the place… It is so nice and animated. Great to stay if you travel alone! With lots of activities to do.

The beds are very comfortable. The beds have curtains, and the room offers enough space and lockers, as well as a dressing space. Every morning a delicious and wholesome breakfast is offered (fruits, coffee/tea/milk, cornflakes, toast and a warm local dish or breakfast). There are several common areas, and enough space for quiet. This hostel lacks nothing and has very friendly staff. There is also a possibility to do yoga. It has exceeded my expectations and I am loving this hostel
It's a 10 min walk to the main square in the center, so after 9PM it isn't advisable to walk back, as there are more and more incidences of crime. It is recommended to take a taxi

Wowowowow I can’t rave about Azul Cielo Hostel enough!! Beautiful common areas, delicious breakfast, friendly and interesting fellow travelers, awesome central location. The 4-person dorm I stayed in was roomy and each bunk was spacious and came with its own light, charging station, and privacy curtain. There are thoughtful details everywhere here. The staff is amazing and helped me book transportation for my trip to the coast as well as to the airport. I’d recommend this place to anyone. It’s also a great value $

Everything. Daniel and Angel at reception are so kind, friendly and helpful. The private room was very charming, comfortable and spacious. Plenty of lounge areas including a rooftop terrace. Freshly made breakfast which changes daily. Great location close to center. Local buses pass in front of hostel, you can get colectivos within walking distance. Quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Free bikes available. Room is cleaned daily with a pitcher of filtered water which is refilled daily.

It's a lovely hostel in Oaxaca City.
Free breakfast was great, and varied every day for the 5 days we stayed.
Room was a good size, with decent bathroom. They are cleaned/tidied daily if you leave it vacant.
Free yoga mats to borrow.
It was pricey. We did travel over New Years eve, but even then I thought that £40 per night for the double room was expensive. Not sure what other options are in Oaxaca so can't compare to that, and maybe price is better not during peak weeks.
Location is okay. It's a 10/15 minute walk from the center, and 20/30 minutes walk to other attractions at the top of the city.

Bathroom smelled like the sewer and unfortunately we had no hot water to shower. Showered downstairs at the dorms, they did have hot water

Lovely hostel culture with planned activities. Stayed in a private room and it was fantastic!
The hostel was a couple of blocks from the busy bustling streets. Very good for a quiet night sleep, but quiet when walking back...perfectly safe but something to be aware of.

The location is only a few minutes by feet away from everything. The single rooms has a lovely enterior, very comfy bed and quite spacious. They serve a cute little breakfast and every morning the „main dish“ changes (usally something typicas mexian). Also if the room is not ready yet or you have to check out you can leave your luggage and stuff what I think is really nice!
They only serve cow milk. But that is a personal matter. Also they have a huge tea variation the most common tea in the world (black tea) is missing. Also a personal matter but these would be the only things which would have rounded up the stay for me as perfect. Still, these are super little things and I just add them here as constructive critic :)

A very nice and lively place, run by friendly staff. About 8 minutes walk to markets and zocolo. It has a nice small bar for the guests that closes before it's too late so guests can sleep as well... The rooms are clean and comfortable, and were cleaned daily.
Our rooms (the balcony rooms?) are facing the main street which can be noisy at times, but does settle down eventually
