The buffet breakfast

Wallpaper coming off from condensation, the inside of the windows dripping with condensation. The toilet was too close to the partition wall it was unusable. Horrible smell in the hallways. We left after the first night as I was unable to breath due to the musty smell in the room.

shower was cold and the room was very small. I did not realise that the fridge was not plugged in so the food I have put in the fridge overnight had to be thrown out, very annoying

The accessibility to town everything was in walking distance/driving distance great service from staff and breakfast was enjoyable to.

The water pressure of the shower is pretty bad.

It was old and tired .. very outdated decor … clean and tidy … nice sheets and white towels … no air conditioning and my room was on the sunset side so incredibly hot .. gorgeous view No one at reception when I arrived and no way of getting there attention that I was there .. other than phoning them .. which they eventually answered

The free breakfast is pretty much the only thing going for this place....that and the cheap price for a one night stay in Wellington.

Very basic room. All the double glazed window units had failed/full of moisture....ruining an otherwise quite nice view. Window cracked in the bathroom. No aircon or fan....so hot and had to listen to police sirens all night. Parking exceedingly tight outside. The TV was broken. The light in the bathroom didn't work. The reception dated and unappealing. The place need some serious TLC.

Very comfy bed & pillows, spongey & nice sheets. Was clean & smelt good. Excellent buffet English breakfast and lovely restaurant area. Close to things to do in the CBD.

The room was quite small but passable The bathroom & bedroom needs a paint & recarpet. No air conditioning. Overall the room & windows were shabby, except the new bed & desk area which looked new. Ok for me overnight. It's more like a hostel accom but with a great hotel buffet bfast.

Price was good. It included a buffet breakfast. Good location so we could walk to CBD .

It was all ok

Love the location. Rooms are clean and tidy. Loved the breakfast included with the price of the room. Facilities are awesome, we used the washer and dryer. Love that we could store our luggage before and after checking in and out. Great place to stay.

Didn't like having to lug our luggage up the stairs of the front entrance. No wifi in my room. Water pressure in the showers need to be improved. Took a while to replace a broken Kettle in our room.

The toilet barely flushed as well as the shower was a dribble. Only one window opened a small amount and the other was covered by a sheet of perspex plastic so it could not open. To combat the heat you got a fan to blow around the hot air. The place needs an update urgently.

good location and okay for overnight or short stay

there is no ramp to the foyer so you have to lift bags up stairs, which might be challenging for some. infrastructure is looking quite dated and probably needs a refurbish for a city hotel, but it’s serviceable and clean. if you are driving and have a larger vehicle be prepared for some tight parking and manoeuvring :)

The staff were nice and the breakfast was good.

Unfortunately the bed was horrible. I also did not like the bathroom configuration. The room was not the cleanest. For the price I think you could find somewhere better.

Check in easy, room had 3 beds with crisp sheets, very little outside noise, good amenities, good breakfast, good reception staff on arrival.

Internal walls paper thin, dusty sills, floor skirtings and power points, shower weak, plug too small for bath, cupboard doors hanging off hinges, no spoons, no microwave, old beds, no wardrobe or dressers , just 2 hangers, no aircon or fan, no hairdryer, only 1 toilet roll, textured ceiling flaking, no lock on loo door, very hot in foyers and room, no opening windows, no extractor fan in bathroom, did not resemble website pictures at all. Was costly at $285 for one night triple room. Says 3+ stars but I question that
