Hôtel idéalement situé. Proche du port, restaurants, commerces et transports. Petit déjeuner de qualité et personnels attentionnés. Ancienne prison reconvertie avec beaucoup de charme.
Malgré un accueil correct, plusieurs informations utiles ont été partiellement communiquées par les réceptionnistes (Rafraîchissement disponible, accès salle de sport, room service...).

Beautifully restored boutique style hotel. Location was excellent walking distance to bars. Restaurants and circular quay. Staff very friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our luggage the morning we checked out as we had a late flight.
The room was a bit stuffy as there was no ventilation. Couldn’t open window so had to have the aircon on

The location
The room was tiny, the view was just a pile of rubbish on top of a roof.
There bathroom had a large step up into it through a huge heavy door and no exhaust.
The tv sticking out of the wall that is directly in the walking path.
When enjoying a quiet moment on the terrace, they turned on very loud Indian music that ruined the mood. The music in the lobby when we arrived was also too loud.
We were also woken up by loud construction on the roof next door at 6.30am, we checked out soon after.

location was fantastic right in the heart of the city. you can walk everywhere including the mall. restaurants had beautiful food choices. you must try their breakfast.car parking right across the road.

Breakfast was amazing!! Such a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the morning. The hotel is in a great location and was an easy walk to the opera house. Lovely Bar also! Our room was small and quaint and what is to be expected.

our room had the most amazing partial view of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge . Incredible location to restaurants,attractions and ferries
The only negative was that the bathroom was not as clean as I would expect and is a bit 'tired' for a hotel in that price bracket

Excellent location. Walked out the door, turned right, and there are the Rocks Sunday markets, just a very short stroll away.. Circular quay, not much further. From there, the whole of Sydney is accessible by ferry or train. All just a short walk from the hotel.
The staff were lovely. The hotel is charming. We were upgraded, which sounded good..... but the room was downstairs, spacious, comfortable and well equipped, but something of a posh dungeon. One window looked out on to a small courtyard obscured by a cane screen. Not a bad spot for a sleep, and ok as we were only in for one night, but no good for a several night stay.
A tip for management... Ask restaurant staff to wear soft sole shoes if they use the stairs passing these rooms. Somebody clattered up and down the stairs very early, presumably preparing for breakfast.

The facilities and location were great. They have done a great job and restoring the old building while making it warm and inviting. Offers multiple places to eat, relax and enjoy the facilities. The rooms were clean, comfortable and modern.
No lift or wheelchair access. Friend was injured and required assistance with stairs.
