Exactly what we expected, and even more, because excellent in every way.
Parking available, fabulous room, exceptional service, breakfast cooked to perfection, then just outside quality shops, bars and restaurants.
City center easily reachable on foot.
There really is nothing better.

We arrived late and of all the places we stayed on our trip THIS HOTEL was our favorite. We didn't have nearly enough time to enjoy everything. Staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were the best we'd had on our journey, the rooms were nice size, towels were fluffy, breakfast was terrific. We had a lovely and way too short stay!

Rooms were lovely, very comfortable and had everything you needed. Great location within walking distance to everything that Belfast has to offer.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The front desk was great at making reservations for us. The breakfast staff was fantastic , always smiling and providing super service. The breakfast was a wonderful combo of made to order and a large selection of self serve breakfast items. On site parking was very helpful.

My room was excellent. Spacious, plenty of tea/coffee, bottled water etc. Gorgeous wet-room style bathroom with loads of fluffy towels, nice toiletries. The bed included lots of big comfortable pillows and cushions, and overall was amongst the most comfortable bed of any hotel bed I have slept in on my very extensive global travels.
The Reception staff and Breakfast staff were faultless in their warm welcome and helpfulness.
The entire hotel, petite as it is, is beautifully presented with lovely furnishings and impressive original artwork lining the stairs and landings. The breakfast menu, food presentation and quality was just so good!
The single reason I haven't rated my stay as a 10 (but given a 9) is simply because Cromwell Road itself is a rather quirky road.

Comfortable modern hotel located around 10 to 15 mins walk to city centre. On site parking was a real bonus.

staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. we were slightly worried when we turned into the road, but it is in fact in a lovely area and a great location. very clean place and super breakfasts
no air conditioning in the room. room was hot and with a train track at the back, could be noisy. trains don’t run through the night tho

The hotel was lovely. Staff were so attentive, welcoming and helpful and were able to give some great recommendations. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Beds and pillows were comfortable as well. The location was great - we were visiting the University, so it was quite close to that, but also walkable to many other things in the city. Breakfast was lovely as well.

Lovely and clean, comfy beds, excellent friendly staff, great breakfast, Orla Keily toiletries, good strong hairdryer, iron board and iron, nice tea trolley, bottled water. Everything you need for an excellent trip
Soundproofing, we were in room 5 and could hear everything the people in room 6 were saying including could hear their tv like it was in our room so much we had to complain to the receptionist twice

Everything! The hotel was fab. Super clean, amazing food, and the staff were lovely and friendly and great at offering places to visit. Ricky was so good at looking after us. I can't recommend Tara Lodge enough.

From the minute you arrive you are treated warmly and very welcomed. The breakfast is absolutely sublime another reason why Tara Lodge is one of my favourite places to stay. If like myself you are not a driver there is a bus stop at the end of road which will bring you into the city centre in less than 10mins and the buses are fairly frequent hope that helps.

Location was excellent - 15 minute walk to city centre. Tea / Coffee facilites and fresh milk in small fridge in room.

Described on booking.com as a 4*hotel but there is no bar or restaurant in the hotel. That said, it is just a short walk to nearest bars and restaurants and umbrellas were available to borrow.

Tara Lodge is an extraordinarily well-located hotel, right in the centre of the Botanic area. The hotel itself is friendly, warm and comfortable and I found myself relaxing from the minute I entered the place. The car park is so convenient, the staff are super friendly and helpful and it's within reach of so many attractions, particularly Queens and the Ulster Museum. Wonderful!
