The location on the beach is perfect and the reason we return. The restaurant is good, staff are nice. Some rooms have a fridge. Hot water is good. Beds are comfortable. We’ve stayed multiple times.

No safe or lockbox in the room. Old style window A/C is noisy. The hotel is in need of updating - new bathroom sinks and faucets (current ones leak), better towels. Soap is provided. No shampoo or hairdryer so bring your own.

For the price charged, this hotel could use a lot of sprucing up. Sink was cracked, towels are thin, lots of dust under the bed, no safe, window screens are torn.

The view, then house animals, the pool, the accommodations.

The uphill walk from the beach. The heat here. I'm not complaining cuz it's freezing where I live, but it is too hot.

The location is out of this world. It's perched right on the beach and if you like hearing the roar of the waves then it's simply hypnotic. There's a restaurant below to buy breakfast and I love a place that the locals eat at.

Nothing. The fact people complain about the salty windows is missing the point. You sit on the deck and soak up every bit of daylight.

Super location with a great beach

Close to the beach, but most hotels in the area are.

The room we were given was like a sauna, the aircon was too noisy to use at night, the sink was smashed and the bathroom was covered in mold, there were dirty handprints on the wall, plug sockets were hanging out of the wall. My bed was two old mattresses on top of one another. The staff ignored us. If this place was half the price then I wouldn’t care about any of these things, but it’s truly a rip off and I would strongly advise staying elsewhere.

location location location. the decks over looking the beach have incredible views and the restaurant is reasonable and good. the two deluxe king rooms with private balconies are nice rooms

they inform you after you arrive that they won’t give you the room you booked until the next day with a lame excuse of animal damage and no real apology. we have been there many times so we could see that they had someone else booked in the room even tho we booked it over a month before. indifferent staff no one offered to carry bags up three flights of stairs. the apartment rooms on the third floor aren’t up to par in so many ways and very hot with an inadequate air conditioner especially compared to regular rooms. very rough attic type rooms fine if they weren’t $100.00

cleaning staff was nice

The photos of the room we selected showed a fridge, balcony, and stove top - none of which the room has. we were extremely disappointed. Beds were extremely uncomfortable

The location is great. Right by the beach. The room was nice and balcony terrace outside the room was really nice.

The windows looking out over the terrace were really dirty. The staff was at times impersonal. The available chairs and tables for enjoying the beach were very close to the restaurant. The chairs and tables out on the beach did not belong to the hotel and cost extra, even though they were in front of it. This seemed odd to me.

The restaurant had great food. The staff was very friendly and helpful at the restaurant and the hotel. The rooms were very clean. You cannot beat the location of this property. The beach was not crowded either. I will be staying here the next time I travel to San Agustinillo!
