Nothing we didn't like

Location was excellent. View from lodge was outstanding. Two high tides a day. Lovely friendly staff which are happy to help you. The reception shuts at four. Not until midnight. The lodge facilities were good. Clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee available on arrival if needed. Overall a fantastic short break holiday.

No condiments. It would be nice to have some salt and pepper.

The view was amazing and location was perfect. Clean and comfortable, very cosy!

Perfect location, sat right on the beach front. Waking up to the sound of the sea was a welcoming bonus. Staff were very helpful and polite.

Lovely location, very friendly staff. chalet was very tidy and clean, bed was very comfortable and had 3 nights of very good sleep. shower was very strong, great to have parking right outside the apartment.

Shower although amazing was very tight, once in you didn't have a lot of room to manoeuvre, parking outside was ideal but again tight to manoeuvre into place.

Everything. Beautiful view. Good price out of season. Helpful friendly staff for smooth quick check-in.

Bit scared that it shook quite a bit in the wind gusts. Nothing I didn't like. Few amenities / cafes on site or in the town.

The accommodation was very compact and clean with everything you would need including hairdryer, airer, etc. loved the closeness to the beach and ability to park outside our accommodation. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. All aspects of home from home were considered and catered for. Great view of the beach.

Sweet and just what was needed for my trip but no hot tub like I booked

I booked a hot tub with my caravan but when I got there turns out I hadn’t I payed for the hot tub but was told it happens all the time and you should go back to booking.com to work out what went wrong not happy!

Lovely location, Hele Bay walking distance from ilfracombe

We stayed in no16 and were disappointed on how tired the deco was in respect to it being called Larkstone Elegance Premier, yet was let down in parts.

Lovely and clean . Modern and stylish with all the home comforts with added benefits of being right by the beach

the location is excellent ,, fabulous views from our accommodation , staff were always happy to help in answering questions or recommending places to visit ,there’s a coastal path which takes you over to ilfracombe harbour , Hot tub lovely also .

I can’t think of anything as everything was lovely

It was lovely and clean lovely location hot tub was lovely the property had every-think you needed

The bathroom cabinet where you brushed your teeth was worn on the handles and got a sharp bit in my finger

The views, the location, and value for money..

Bathroom was VERY SMALL, no space at all. Very Very compact

Fantastic location and just a short trip into Illfracombe - VERY steep but scenic walk or a short drive. Staff on site are very helpful. Apartment is three times the size that it appears in the photos, with views to die for!

The apartment could use a deep clean and a bit of a face lift as it looks tired and worn in places but otherwise a very comfortable stay.

The accommodation was tired and not clean, there was no view and the hot tub was not private.

Rude and arrogant staff on reception. Electric hob does not work. And there is no microwave to cook any food. Radiator in bedroom does not work. Hot tub supposedly checked and cleaned daily but there was sediment in the bottom of it. Parking is scarce and had to park at reception as per instructed. Tried to call out of hours emergency number rang to voicemail after around 12 rings first then tried again went to voicemail after 3 rings so was obviously cut off. Tried calling one more time to get instant voicemail message. Absolutely appalling and not worth the £640 we paid for the 3 night stop. Only good thing this place has for itself is the location being a 2 minute walk down a path to the beach and the amazing view’s especially for the sun set. Other than that avoid!

Fab location with super sea views from our accommodation. Very short walk onto the beach. Janice ( on reception) was very welcoming and very helpful. We're already planning a return visit and will certainly be recommending ' Beach Cove Retreat' to our family and friends

Nothing to dislike. Highly recommended

Very comfortable and big bed and same with the sofa. The hut offered great privacy and amazing views. Caroline was very helpful. Good getaway for a couple.

Would be useful for some condiments (that are disposable with everything that’s going on). Fresh towels would have helped towards the end of the week.
