Great location, great staff, great ownership. You cannot go wrong. This group really likes you and will be there for you.

LOL the room key thing is weird. The keys are ancient and should be replaced. These are skeleton keys fro the 40s. I trust everyone at this hotel but it would be easier if there were at least two keys per room

Small and old room. Not worth the price.

The staff were absolutely wonderful! Really helpful and kind. The breakfast was as described, and pretty good. The location was excellent, really safe neighbourhood and just a short walk from restaurants and bars.

It is a 3* hotel so we were expecting the dated furniture and fixtures, and they were perfectly fine, however, for over $100 a night we were hoping it would be clean. However the room we had was in desperate need of a deep clean, and needs new sheets and towels. The sheets on our bed were covered in stains. We asked the guy on reception for clean sheets the morning after our first night, but housekeeping didn't replace them, so we had to sleep on top of them for the three nights which was uncomfortable. The room also smelt like damp. The toilet seat was broken, and the fixtures in the bathroom were cracked and old. Saying that, we brought some cleaning supplies and air freshener and spent some time cleaning the room (although the smell remained for the entire time). We would be perfectly happy here as a base for hiking, but we were here for our honeymoon and it wasn't the atmosphere we were hoping for. I think this is a perfect place for backpackers, but maybe not the place for couples for a romantic or relaxing stay.

This place is wonderful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff/manager was extremely helpful and accommodating to us, and the location is perfect to walk to restaurants, bars and shopping. 10/10 I would recommend staying here.

Hot water decent shower.

Room is old, smelled like humidity, uncomfortable bed, hard pillows, bad breakfast.

Bathroom, shower so small and didn't work properly

Were welcomed at check-in by the owner who speaks perfect English (grew up in New Jersey). Location is good, 4 blocks from the nightlife. AC in room really good. Met the mother of the owner at breakfast, lovely lady and also speaks perfect English. Price is low.

Hotel is ok-ish, a bit dingy. Room was small, noisy, bathroom had a terrible smell. Pool green and dirty, definitely not conforming to the photo's. Hotel is good for backpackers I think, not so suitable for us.

Everything was great Every staff member was amazing so kind friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable and room 11 was quiet. Great night sleep. In house restaurant was outstanding. Can't wait to come back

Nothing was bad

The breakfast was generous, the location (although a little far from centro) was only a couple of blocks from the 'happening' street, Aristedes Villanueva. This street has lots of restaurants and bars and after sundown is a hive of activity until after midnight. The room, beds and bathroom were more than adequate. The staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful with suggestions and humor.

Everything was better than our expectations.
