Liked room well set out. ensuite.spotless very comfortable bed.and great location handy for shop pubs etc.parking nearby.really helpful couple run it good for information how get about chester as had never been

Location is ideal, it is very quiet in that area as well. Alison and David were extremely friendly and really helpful throughout the stay.
Really liked the Chester artwork, nice to stay in a place which is proud of its city.
Only gripe was size of bathroom but it didn’t impact on the stay and can’t be helped in building of this age.

small and delightful guesthouse. communication with the owners was very efficient. the room had everything you needed, clean and tidy. the bathroom with shower only. honestly excellent price and the location is very convenient you are already practically in the center and a few meters from the military museum car park, free after 5:00 pm.

From the time we walked in we were made welcome. Dave and Alison were the perfect hosts sharing their extensive knowledge of Chester. Our room was perfect. It was comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for our two night stay. The location was a short walk to all the sights of this wonderfull city. There was Plenty of restaurant and pubs to choose from very close by. A special thank you to Alison who spent so much time helping us when our hire car failed to start.
We would highly recommend Grosvenor Place.

Amazing place in the city center.
Everything was great, nice and clean place. There are tea facilities and a mini fridge.

Not having breakfast worked well for me as it enabled early morning starts. The single room was very small but space well used and fine for two nights. It is just round the corner from good restaurants and a bus stop

the hosts were nice n very helpful
my room was super tiny. it's just a step from the door to the bed and 2 steps from the bed to the bathroom. no space to fully open my luggage which is a 25 or 26inch one.

We enjoyed staying in the last remaining guest house within the city walls of Chester. We liked the historic feel to the building. Most important was the wonderful location—a couple of blocks from Bridge Street, near the castle and Grosvenor Museum, but not noisy.
We would have preferred a cooked breakfast onsite but that had changed, and we understood that.
