Lovely stay, everyone is friendly and helpful, second time staying here. good gluten free options at breakfast, it was a bonus with having car parking facilities. location only 5 mins walk to centre.will definitely be returning again.

The room was warm at night. The room needs better lighting near the long mirror.

Room comfortable - staff very pleasant - breakfast very good - would stay again.

Only problem was on Friday night - a group of young men were staying in the rooms by us (an annexe of 6 rooms) They came in at 2:15am with lots of slammimg doors and phone calls in the corridor- annoying!!

Good parking, friendly cheerful staff. If you want to avoid the uphill walk to main sites on a short stay, the open top bus stops outside this hotel. Excellent breakfast. Be aware no restaurant, but plenty of local places to eat. Evening bar available.

Slept well, Breakfast excellent - they just kept replenishing dishes as required. So handy for town centre, walking to excellent tea shop and fudge shop in under 15 minutes. No driving required and car in a safe, free car park on site. Very clean. Helpful staff.

Would have liked 'twin' beds instead of sofa made up. I slept well on it, BUT found it difficult to get in and out due to metal bars from the sofa mechanism which I had to climb over.

Unfortunately roadworks going on outside the hotel so it was a tad noisy, not the hotels fault I appreciate.

The usb ports in the wall sockets didn’t work and all the fittings in the shower were loose, so much so that a shower was virtually impossible as the shower head hung limp at the bottom of the bracket which was hanging loose from the wall. The soap dispenser also was hanging off.

It was clean and tidy. The staff were both professional and approachable

The breakfast let it down somewhat. Not much choice. The bacon was to salty, the beans were cold, there was little in the way of prepared fruit that is always available in other hotels.

My only moan is the fact that the plates were cold and not warm so my food went cold quickly other than that very pleased.
