Big and comfortable room, welcoming staff, good location.

Some loud music from a nearby club, but bearable.

So I was on a Gate 1 tour that ended in Tirana; this hotel was the assigned hotel for Tirana for the last 2 days of the tour. I extended my stay one extra day to allow me to take a more reasonable air flight out of Tirana. I asked the hotel via Booking to keep me in the same room for my self-booked night 3 as I had for the first two Gate 1 nights, which they did gladly via Booking's messaging service. The staff was friendly and could communicate well in English. The included breakfast was more than adequate, although not as grand as several other 5-star hotels I stayed at on the tour portion of my trip. They had a mix of cooked items as well as fruits, cereals and breads. My room on the second floor was right across from the elevator, so very convenient from that aspect. DOn't worry, the elevator was not noisy. The stairs are very walkable for the average person. Note that the area surrounding this hotel I found to safe. I was able to walk about 900m to the Luna airport shuttle on Rruga Ludovik Shllaku across from the Friendship Monument. 4 euros to or from the airport.

My room on the second floor was just above a patio area where people would go out to smoke; therefore, one could not open the windows when that was going on (I am an avid NON-smoker, and don't like being around any smoking areas including those in restaurants and bars). But this was not a huge problem as I am one who spends little time in the room except at night.

The reception desk absolutely ROCKS! The three people looking after the reception desk are true ambassadors for the hotel!

The location is unbeatable, the staff are welcoming and polite, the breakfast was very good with fantastic coffee and several homemade sweet specialties in addition to the expected usuals. My original room didn't have a balcony and so I requested a change and they changed quickly at no additional cost. The value for the location, comfort, and amenities was fantastic.

Not exactly a "boutique" hotel, but it is functional and clean.

The staff were all extremely helpful, kind, attentive, and caring. This was the best thing about the Kotoni Hotel. Feels like a well-run family operation.

Heavy metal blinds on the windows were a bit too much taking into account that the rooms were dark enough. And during my last night some bzzzz noise from ventilation or air conditioning was driving me crazy. Could not sleep at all. Kind guy from reception offered me another room but the noise was there also. And cleaning personnel does not really understand what Don’t disturb means as they enter the room and clean anyway.

Nice hotel, nice poeple...nothing to say. All recommandations. A large choice for breakfast, excellent food in the restaurant and a nice covered terrace that serves as a cafe.

The hotel is located in the hard of the city where one can easily approach all government institutions. If you are interested in going to the park by the lake it is in walking distance. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood. The Breakfast is excellent with good selection of fruit, cheese, pastries, everything one needs. Hotel offers a very good menu for business lunch and will gladly offer a dinner if you are busy to go out. Simply perfect for a business trip. They also have good internet and it is good to work in side.

Nothing is missing. The hotel offers everything you need.

Great location in the centre of the city in The Block area (blloku). It is a friendly, family run hotel with very elegant rooms throughout. The owner and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was large with a modern en-suite bathroom and comfortable bed. The buffet style breakfast was excellent offering all kinds of cold meats, cheese, eggs, tomatoes etc. Also available were various fresh fruits, pastries, cereals and yoghurt. Wi-fi was also excellent.

We stayed for 3 nights and there was nothing we didn’t like.

loved the staff who were always willing to go above and beyond. The room was very clean, the king bed was so comfortable and the location was perfect. Also the room was very quiet. The breakfast was very good as well. Barda and staff were exceptional. One of the best boutique hotels in Tirana.

Everything was exceptional. The only strange thing was on the first day of arrival the hot water didnt seem to work that well. The next day it was fixed and no problem.

The location is superb, but even better is the friendly and personal service
