The condo is very spacious and very homey. This vibe was exactly what I wanted for my children and parents on a week getaway vs a hotel. The host is very responsive. The condo was clean and easy to access. I loved the balcony. I could have sat on the patio the whole time. It’s in a remote location so prepare everything you need before getting there to avoid any need to “run to the store.” We actually enjoyed the location. I do wish they kept a vacuum for all the sand, but that may be why they don’t. There are no car washes nearby so bring some glass cleaner and paper towels to wipe your car windows.

We booked this rental with the assumption the pool was INCLUDED in the stay since that is what the listing clearly stated. It wasnt until the day we checked in we received another invoice for $250 JUST to use the pool. Very very very disappointed. Would not recommend

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was very nice and in a great location. The views from the balcony were beautiful! We enjoyed having breakfast out there every morning. The one thing we were a little disappointed with was the fact that we had to pay extra to get access to the pools. I don't remember seeing anything about that before booking, and the way all the pool pictures are advertised for this property it makes it seem like that's included. Other than that I would recommend this property and stay again.

For the most part we enjoyed our time here. I was with my family, which consist of 4 kids, 10 months-13 yrs, as well as my older parents (76&77). The biggest down fall for us was that we felt like it was a little misleading on how close the beach was and accessing it. It stated a 8-10 minute walk. We are used to walking and kept a pretty fast pace and it took us a full 20 minutes from leaving the condo to get to the beach. As far as the condo goes it was very nice, however we never were able to access live TV in the living room or one bedroom. We were freezing cold the first night, but did finally get the access code to adjust the a/c ourselves. I would recommend the owner invest in a new set of knives. We couldn't even cut through the plastic on the bacon packaging, much less cut through our watermelon. Definitely the dullest knives I've ever used. Overall the place was great! Very clean, plenty of room and the amenities were awesome! My kids loved the lazy river! The area was nice and quite and even over the 4th of Jily holiday the beach was not crazy busy like down on the Seawall.

We came for a weekend trip with our family. We have three kids 3 and under so the easy access to the beach club and all their amenities made it easy for us to enjoy our time. The condo was nice and perfect for our group.

We visited Galveston for a long weekend with family friends and had the best time. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed. The patio was big enough for us all to sit and enjoy. The temperature inside was nice and cool. The only surprise was that we didn't realize that we were not right on the beach. It turned out to be perfect though because we we rented a golf cart for the weekend and used it to get it to the different pools and right up onto the beach. Being on this end of the resort was nice and quiet, we hardly ran into anyone on the stairs or the elevator. Thank you for the great weekend. We would recommend this to others.

The condo was very nice and clean. The main pool area and restaurant were nice amenities. The biggest draw back - which was out of the control of the condo owner - was that the company that on site to set-up umbrellas on the beach was closed. We did use a rental company - Rick's. They were amazing and also rent golf carts.

We really enjoyed our stay. There were a couple issues that were beyond the control of the owner. First the elevator was put of commission. Secondly, the fire alarm went off one night at 1:30 am. Pablo was great in his responses and communication. The pool area was very nice. We would come back again!

We were looking for a relaxing week and surely got it here. I got great sunrise and sunset photos everyday. The condo was luxurious and had everything we needed to kick our feet up and relax indoor and out, even a pot big enough to boil the crabs we got. The location is perfect if you're looking for a bit of quiet. Already trying to find a time to return.

The rental was very nice and was fully outfitted with dishes, towels, bedding to make you feel as if you are at home. Only issue was we did not have the code for the thermostat so it was quite hot in the unit until the property owner finally provided the code so we could modify the thermostat to turn the heat down. We were told we would be provided a backup method to opening the door but did not receive this info until about time to leave. Better communication with the property owner would be beneficial for the renter.

My wedding party and I stayed here for my wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The condo was beautiful and had a nice homey feel to it. Pablo is so nice and was so fast to respond anytime I reached out. We definitely plan on staying again for vacations to come.

Condo was nice but a little more remote than I had anticipated. Still beautiful location and the Beach Club was fun. The condo itself was well maintained with one minor exception that I reported to the owner. The property was beautiful, but the trash shoot smelled bad and was overflowing and backing up into the shoot. Since our condo front door was next to the shoot, that would be my one big negative for this property. But all in all, everyone had a great time.

Pablo was awesome, he kept communication with me which was important. He called and checked on us , not us having to constantly call him . Was disappointed in VRBO and the extra charges that were not disclosed before transaction, BUT Pablo made sure to take care of us any way he could ! Had a blast and will go back again for sure!

The beds were not as described. One bedroom showed 3 queens along with bunk beds. There was only a set of bunk beds with a pull out trundle. The top bunk had damaged boards under the mattress and we were too afraid to let anyone sleep on top. There also was no ocean view as described , only a bay view.

The condo was very clean the manager John was very helpful. Respond to every call and texts and Answered all my questions The view was very nice and relaxing the property was very clean and secured I enjoyed my stay and look forward to doing it again. I highly recommended to family and friends.

This was a wonderful location for a family vacation, we were looking for a place to meet for family from Illinois and Oregon that would be kind of equidistant for all but was a beach destination. Had never been to Galveston before and Houston Airport was a simple trip for everyone. This end of the island was quiet and peaceful. The two pool areas were great, our favorite was the Lazy River. The condo was the perfect size with 3 bedrooms, 2 bath rooms and extremely spacious living area and outdoor porch. We rented a gold cart from one of the many places on the island and it was perfect for getting us around the resort. Had dinner a couple nights at The Pointe Restaurant and it was fantastic, as well as happy hour up at the bar at the Pointe West Beach Club. Really loved our stay! Pablo was very quick to respond to any issue we had as far as the unit itself and provided good instructions for our check out procedures and tasks.

The condo was warm, beautifully furnished and had great patio views. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and dishes. Has more coffee cups than most restaurants. Very relaxing, comfortable place. Beach Club was great for swimming, sun bathing and food. Excellent service.

Gorgeous views (coming back just to sit on the huge covered balcony, drink coffee and watch the birds all day!), great beach club, perfect size for a family of 4. Bed was surprisingly comfortable.

The apartment was very nice. In the pictures and description it shows access to the pool, restaurant, bar, and beach however the apartment was across the highway from the beach and not in walking distance if you have kids. Forget bringing toys to the beach because you have to climb about 30 stairs with no ramp. The pool bar and just about everything else requires a $15 arm band per person. No where in the description was that listed. The listing said beach front. How is across a highway beach front. The office closed at 5PM for check in but states 6pm on the website. VBRO didn't even notify the property owner that we were coming. If the property owner had not picked up his phone at 545 pm on a Friday we would have been in a very bad spot. You are paying resort prices but nothing about the stay felt like a resort. Also apparently one of the previous guests broke the thermostat so the owner had the smart thermostat locked. Every time my wife got hot or cold I had to call to change the temperature. You couldn't pay me to stay at Pointe West again. We will just be renting houses from now on.

Pablo was a huge help and very responsive. The condo was nice, the restaurant was not open and after looking at their website directly it did mention that on their site... closed during the winter months.

We enojed this property very much! The view was so beautiful and so was the condo! The beds were comfortable and everything was nice and clean Pablo was very gracious to us!

Our trip had to be rescheduled due to tropical storm beta our previous house was already booked later in the week. Pablo was very kind in answering our questions regarding any issues on the island. We were so fortunate to find this condo and that it was available to save the vacation we had planned! The condo is beautiful and very clean and updated! The beds were so comfortable and we loved the bay view from the balcony! We enjoyed our time at point west and felt safe with all the precautions with covid and the beach was a short walk/drive away. Pablo was very quick to respond to our questions! We couldn't recommend this place anymore! 5 stars!! Thanks again Pablo for saving our much needed vacation!
