No welcome information pack. Subsequently found in the bottom drawer in kitchen , so no wifi for 24 hours. TV remote didn't work, batteries found to be corroded and needed to be replaced. Unable to open ranchslider with keys provided, which is a safety issue. Personally we think the steepness of the stairs requires a handrail on the outside for safety purpose's. These two issues could breach Health & Saftey requirements.

Location was ok. House was clean and tidy. Furniture was comfortable. Was about the size of a good family motel room so reasonable.

There were multiple emails with the wrong information. It was fine when we actually talked to the host but that was only on the day and via text. We didn't know all emails were generic and to be ignored so ended up with so much linen that we could barely squash it in the car. The stairs need a hazard warning and are not suitable for young children ( ours had a really nasty fall) or the elderly. The beams of the a frame are intrusive and it is hard to avoid bashing your head multiple times. There needs to be a dryer - with no laundromat in Ohakune it was impossible to get things dry. The back deck needs water blasting - it was covered in mold.
