Week long SB trip with another family.

Overall These comments are based upon other rental experiences. We arrived knowing that there was a complete kitchen. There was, and we packed accordingly, however, it did not have any paper towels or coffee filters. That made it necessary to run out to the store the first morning. There was no person checking on us. There was no housekeeping. Yes, there is a washer, yet if you wanted to clean bedding or towels, you had to furnish your own detergent. The noise from the street below at all hours of the night was very, very loud. The unit yet is said to be mostly refurbished. I would say that the big stuff has been done, but the niceties, like complete door sets, so the door could be kept closed are missing. On the positive, the location is central. Many restaurants are available, and all of that is in the property details.

Just completed a 2 week stay at this beautiful Isle Verde condo! Place is just as it is in pics. The pool area, beach, and local eateries will keep you busy on a daily basis. Ate many meals on the balcony with the cool breeze hitting you. Wonderful people in and around the complex. Made SO MANY friends! However…a warning…just as others have previously commented. The street below is LOUD! And we’re not just talking daily traffic. It is the line of motorcycles and souped-up cars that parade up and down the street from 10pm until dawn. Not helping are the three 24-hour bar/restaurants in the vicinity. Weekends are the worst. There are 3-4 nice high rises in the vicinity…I don’t know how the full-time residents allow this to continue to happen. To buffer the noise at night, we kept on the general condo AC….the individual bedroom AC and a wave/noise machine. These helped a little. Sad that this problem affects what would be a magical stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo. We were six adults and there was plenty of room. The condo has been recently renovated and is very modern. Close to the beach, restaurants and nightlife, it is perfectly situated to enjoy everything PR has to offer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was outstanding and it was close to everything in San Juan. Be sure you get the check in instructions before you get there as it is not a 'traditional' lobby and you need to understand the specific instructions. Also note it is on a busy street so while you have lots of options nearby you also have quite a bit of noise. As I said at the beginning, this was a great place to stay. The pictures are accurate and the location is close to all of the activities you will want to explore.

It has a great location and the property is in good condition, there’s a few details that need to be fixed but they have to do more with the building than the property itself.

The view from the balcony is gorgeous! It truly makes the unit. Kitchen and living room were updated. Beds were comfortable. This is not a pristine, high end condo but clean, bright, with beautiful views and quite adequate for our needs. There was a problem with the entrance door to the unit not opening but we were able to lock the outer gate, and the property manager was responsive and initiated efforts to rectify the problem. The hallways in the building are a bit dismal. The security staff were helpful and friendly. This appears to be a very safe building. The pool was beautiful and we really enjoyed the beach and swimming in the beautiful warm water. The building is in walking distance to everything you need. Very convenient location. Enjoyed our stay.

I will start off by saying the property manager was nice and responsive and allowed early/late checkout, the apartment has a beautiful beach view from the living room only… At first glance of the photos you’d think you have an updated modern apartment but it’s just not. The front door to the apartment kept sticking and was so hard to open and close (if you book here make sure you have a strong person with you - you literally need two hands to open/close the door), You cant flush toilet paper down the toilet because the pipes are old and narrow, they want all USED/DIRTY toilet tissue to be discarded in the trash (owner left a note on toilets informing of this), the shower in the 1st bathroom kept clogging, bathroom sink made a loud banging noise once turned on, dishwasher didn’t work, common areas and elevators have no air conditioning, mattresses were stained but sheets and linen were clean. The pool was closed during half the day for cleaning/maintenance with no notice but never appeared clean. Thank god for the beach. The area was ok. Bars were ok and opened late but all the bigger/nicer restaurants closed 8/9pm. My overall rating is a 3 (being generous) I would not stay here again for the price.

The apartment was beautiful and the view from the balcony, incredible. Walk outside and we were on a beautiful and peaceful beach. Easy walk to some stores to stock up on necessities. I agree that it was loud at night, but it is on a main street, and that made it easy to get everywhere. We would definitely stay there again!

The place is just as described. Very comfortable and spacious. The place appears to be newly updated. Really enjoyed our stay.

Host was super responsive and accommodating. Safe and secure building. Loved the access to the beach and the availability of rental chairs and umbrellas in addition to the beach items available in the apt. Come prepared to rest and enjoy the amenities and the view.

The sand and ocean were amazing! The view from this condo is stunning! Plenty of room for four of us to spread out. 24 hour bars and restaurants, drug stores and markets were steps from the residence. We busted everywhere and did not miss having a car at all. Communication with the owner was always prompt. Puerto Rico is beautiful!

The condo was perfect for our PR trip. Very nice location and accommodation. Don’t let the hallway to the condo scare you away, when you open the door to the condo you will be pleasantly surprised! PROs: It was in a great location near plenty of food options, entertainment and general stores, all within walking distance. The condo came with a dedicated parking spot in a secure parking garage. We had access to the beautiful pool and we were literally feet from the beach. Our balcony overlooked the ocean and pool. We had every piece of cooking equipment you can think of, utensils, linen, beach equipment, beach chairs, coffee machine and plenty of storage space. CONs: The power was out for a good bit of time one of the days which put a damper on our plans for that evening, however the host was very responsive and kept me up to date on the expected restoration time. There were also ants. It wasn’t to the point that we were afraid to sleep there but we did notice them in every room, however the condo was clean, so I’m not blaming the ants on filth. The one thing that could elevate this property further is new windows/blinds. They look like they were the original ones installed when the property was built. Overall, I highly recommend this condo to anyone traveling that wants a memorable experience in PR.

We loved our stay at this property! It is bright and open with a gorgeous view. Very convenient to anything you want to get to walking or by car.

Our family enjoyed our stay. We came to visit other family on the island, enjoyed being so close to the beach. Location was great but as other reviews said, the street can get loud and the outside lights were bright but luckily our kids and us were still able to get sleep.

I read some of the reviews and had a few reservations, but overall this placed impressed me. Super nice beach just steps away, wonderful view down onto the water, great beach life scene on all sides. We had so much fun here, and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this property with my family for a week vacation. The location was good, 10 minutes from the airport, beach front (amazing view) & pool front ( great toddler / baby pool). The apartment itself was nicely decorated. There were some decent restaurant options within walking distance. Appliances in the apt were outdated and not functional. The coffee maker did not work, nor did the blender. The dishes and kitchen items all needed to be cleaned before using as many had residue and little bugs were rampant. A thorough cleaning would have made a big difference! We know it is out of the hosts control, but be mindful that the location is extremely loud due to the proximity of the main road in isla verde. The noise throughout the night was really loud. We knew this beforehand after reading several reviews so we brought along three sounds machines to cancel out the noise. It’s a lovely apartment but definitely needs some TLC. Some cold water in the fridge would have been nice to be greeted with.

the place is a bit of a challenge due to construction and the busy street which is loud. The host responded pretty well. We did have some plumbing issues in the second bathroom. The supplies and cookery were very limited, there is no dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, sugar, filters, etc. This is not their fault and they did not advertise that but in many places I've stayed this is present and we did leave all those supplies for the next guests. The beach area was great and we enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful family vacation. First time in Puerto Rico and learned great history, culture, and quisine. Would definitely go back.

This is my second time renting from Annie Astor and her properties do not disappoint! The condo is well decorated and extremely clean with great amenities. The condo looks as good in person as they do in the pictures. Great communication with Annie and the property manager Val. I will always try to rent from Annie when I'm in Puerto Rico.

Yes, beautiful renovation of the kitchen, living room, 2 bathrooms and balcony completed 2 years ago. The view is nice as well. Everything else was lackluster and truly took away from the renovation. Materials from renovation in 2 of 3 bedroom closets. Stained linens. Master mattress had indentations on both sides with the middle truly being a separation on the bed. Water did not drain thoroughly in master bath. Ants in master bath. Broken towel rack. Master bedroom door could not be closed or secured for privacy. Blinds dirty and do not keep out lights from street. Strip club sign lights flashing on wall all night long. Major street noise at all hours. Rusted out table on balcony. Visible dirty walls in some places. A great deal of wear and tear and lack of tlc on the non-renovated parts. Annie diminished our concerns and called them minor. Rather than just asking what she could do, she attempted to school me on her pricing as compared to other properties. She offered to bring over the new balcony table she had after we had raised the complaint with her. If she had it why not install it before guests arrive. Not enough beach towels for all guests when you know exactly how many people are in the party. Some things can be overlooked and others can not. People book for various reasons. We booked based on pictures and reviews thinking is was high end with a view. We even went above our budget as this was the first family vacation with everyone since 2018. Safety was questionable upon arrival and seeing the building. The rod iron gates in front of each door made us uneasy to say the least. The front door was atrocious adding to the negative first impression. It truly set the stage for the rest. BUT, the beach was nice and they did have good food around. Thankfully, La Isla del Encanto is just that! Puerto Rico is a beautiful place with much to do. I have pictures to back up my concerns of misrepresentation. The other details are just as important as the renovation.

This was our annual girls trip, first time in PR and we had the best time here! The condo was clean, everyone we encountered was friendly. There are no words to describe the views from that balcony! The beach is steps away and beautiful as well as the pool area which was pristine. We would definitely come back!

We enjoyed our stay here! The apartment and balcony are beautiful, and the property is very convenient to the beach. We were surprised at the volume of street noise, and would note that for future guests. Turning on the bedroom air conditioners did help. Another minor note is that the washing machine appears to only be hooked up to hot water. Check in was simple and easy, and the property manager was responsive throughout our stay. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout, which was very helpful!

The listing accurately represented the property when we saw it in person. The building was a bit older but easy to see it was very well kept and updates are continuing to be done. The apartment itself was updated in a beautiful modern vibe. Very bright and airy. The 6 of us had plenty of room with the 3 bedrooms. There was enough kitchen cookware, dishes, etc to do what we needed. The beach was beautiful and very warm water. The pool was huge. The area was walkable and easy to access places to shop and eat. We felt very safe when we were out and about. A wonderful stay.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay and the condo was as described and we loved the patio doors. Very comfortable for our party of 5 with plenty of seating and the bedroom arrangement worked well for us. The privacy of the corner unit was wonderful and the overall complex with pool and beach access was very convenient. Some improvements would help - Needs some more wine glasses/glasses overall, we didn't cook and that might have been challenging with what was available. The door to the master bedroom doesn't latch so we had to use a folded paper towel to shim it and the remodeling materials in the master bedroom closet could be removed to give it a "cleaner" feel. Host was gracious and easy to communicate with and provided us a wheelchair for my mom which was much appreciated, the Acs worked well and helped with street noise at night (we expected this so wasn't a problem), beach supplies were great to have on hand (a couple more beach towels would be helpful) and we loved the Isla Verde area. We would stay again if ever in the area!

Location is awesome! Building is very secure. The accommodations were very nice and well-maintained. Property is exactly as shown in pictures. I have a few questions and the property manager responded quickly. Kitchen very well stocked with high quality items. I like that the building has permanent residents, we met a few at the pool and all were very nice. The ocean views were picture perfect!

This beautiful condo is in a great location! It’s a short drive from the airport, has a gorgeous view of the beach and ocean, and is close to great restaurants.
