Very cute beach house! Great location! Great communication!!! Loved it all!

This was a great place for our group of friends to stay for the weekend. The property is smaller than the pictures make it look, but there was plenty of room. Glad to have all the beds and bedrooms. There are lots of stairs - Just be aware. The bed in the master bedroom on the first level need to be repaired. The supports under the mattress are missing or broken. Tiles in the downstairs bathroom have fallen off the wall and have not been repaired. Several windows are missing screens and several blinds are broken. The upstairs shower head needs to be replaced so it can be adjusted and not just a mist because it is clogged. The sliding door on the main level is missing a screen door. someone must have walked through it at some point, but the property managers have not had it replaced. There was a sticky substance on the stairs and the railing, like a soda had been spilled on them and the floors were filthy. This place needs some love and some paint to touch up all the baseboards which look dirty and damaged.

Wonderful thanksgiving getaway for our entire family. Three generations and we all had a great time. The house is very comfortable for a large group for sure. However the sixth bedroom is a loft with two open walls. so no privacy from noise for sure. Really cook space though, just steep staircase to get up there. All of the beds were very comfortable and with nice soft sheets and good pillows. Lots of towels available too. Location is great. View of ocean and easy access to the beach as well for driving or walking. Management very responsive too.

This house didn’t have a lot of frills or decor, but it worked decent for a large group. Communication with owner was great. Location was okay. We like to rent golf carts to drive down the beach, but this location is blocked off after 150 yards both ways. Great points: owner provided starter items (paper towel, toilet paper, trash bags, soap, shampoo/conditioner, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent. Easy checkout procedures. Great back patio facing ocean. We always had hot water. Beds and pillows were decent. TV provides all of the ways to watch shows. Negative points: no board games to play or cards/dominoes. No large stock pot to cook a meal for a large group. No large pitcher. Beds are squeaky. House is loud everywhere you go (wood floors, lots of steps, loft is open to living room so kids weren’t ever really separated with noise/voice/tv. The hardest part was the constant swaying. This house rocks back and forth so bad it feels like you’re on a ship in a storm. The wooden blinds slammed back and forth on the sides of the window and kept us up all night. Stones in the showers were uncomfortable on our feet. AC had a hard time keeping up during the day. The freezer drawer didn’t shut fully so our food didn’t stay frozen and was filled with condensation. Overall, we had a great time after making a few trips to the grocery store. I’m not sure we would cone back to this particular house, but the price was great for a group this large so we are glad we went.

We really enjoyed the home and the view. We took advantage of the short walk to the beach in the morning with our pups. This is a great home for a family. Lots of bedrooms. Be prepared for lots of stairs. We are both over 60 but we managed Ok.

We had such a great time at this beach house! Plenty of room and very clean! We will be renting this one again. The fire pit was a nice touch and the view was outstanding. The property managers were very helpful as well.

Our family of 14 stayed at this home for 5 nights. It is in a great location, close to the beach and has plenty of bedrooms and beds. For a house that sleeps 22 people, it doesn't have much room for people to lounge, since it has very small, uncomfortable living room furniture. The kitchen also lacked pots and pans large enough to cook for a large group. The biggest issue we had with this house was that it has a roach problem. We didn't really notice them the first couple of days, but that last 3 days were terrible. They were in the kitchen, dining area and living room, even during the day around us. It must be a fairly new problem because they were pretty small roaches. I private messaged the person that I had been communicating with before we rented and never got a response. I also sent the management company an email, but I have never received a response. We all came home and left our belongings on the patio and brought things in individually to avoid bringing roaches into our house. If this house had not had a roach problem it would have been a much more pleasant experience. It has 5 bedrooms with plenty of beds and a loft with bunk beds, which was a great place for the younger crowd, but the stairs to the loft are pretty steep and are not safe for younger kids. Overall it was a great house but the roach issue was a big problem.

Took a friends trip and stayed here. Everyone had a good time.

We arrived 3 hours after check in time. Upon entering the smell of the home was disgusting. Instead listing all that was wrong I will just say the previous guest didn’t have any home training and were nasty as all get out. Also the home never got cleaned after they left. This was a huge inconvenience due to the fact we had refrigerated food and an elderly family member that needed to get comfortable after the trip in. We had family fly in from 3 different states and were exhausted. After contacting management they worked on getting cleaning personnel over to. 2 ladies showed up and got to it but considering how filthy the last tenants were they had their work cut out for them. We had to sit outside until they were done. The ladies did the best they could. We finally got in and started unpacking the vehicles 2 hours later. I use VRBO often and this was the first horrible experience I have had. These management companies over these rentals should confirm with the scheduled cleaners if they have cleaned. I was embarrassed because I booked this house. I am still upset because this was too much money that was spent to be inconvenienced and still have clean. I’m sure if those ladies had the correct amount of time to clean then we may not have had to go behind them but that is neither here nor there. I was supposed to get a call back on Friday regarding some sort of resolution but never received a call back.

Our family had a wonderful weekend together! There was plenty of room for us to spread out, we loved the views and being so close to the beach!

I love visiting Galveston. I feel like this trip could have been more enjoyable if I did not have to worry about packing our wet beach clothes to take back with us. As a result of the drying not working, we also did not have enough towels. The dryer was not working prior to our arrival. I do not understand why why it was not taken care of. We found the dryer full of wet towels that, I am assuming, the cleaning crew left in there. Anyway, in my opinion, the technician could have taken care of the problem easily but instead, he looked at it for 5 minutes and just said that it needed to be replaced.

Really really enjoyed sitting out on the upper deck and looking out to the Gulf. It was super convenient to walk to the beach withing 5 minutes. Absolutely loved this home!

Loved the whole atmosphere of this place! Very calming and relaxing. Felt like we were beach bumming it up.

Location of the home could not have been better especially the beach views and location to the beach. We had a group of 16 of us and ranging from 6-79 and the accommodation were great. No issues with bugs like most of the reviews suggested. A few of the amenities we thought could use upgrades were not to our satisfaction. I do feel like we bought a lot of things to make do - that could’ve been provided. That may be the difference between renting from a family vs management company. Firepit but no roasting forks. Beach house but no beach chairs. Little things like that that could’ve been nice touches that were used to from other rentals. Overall, we had a great vacation in the house. Great accommodations definitely could use some upkeep though.

We had 21 people stay at a 22 person house and it was flawless! There was plenty of space for everyone. The only thing I would mention is to say that the loft should really be for older kids only. My adult friend and her husband planned to sleep up there but once they saw the stairs, they definitely agreed it was for kids only. Other than that, great trip, plenty of room. My only complaint was the lack of towels, toilet paper and paper towels. Next time I would bring my own supplies because we did have to go buy all of that.

The mosquitos are awful on the lower level bring plenty of bug spray and benadryl gel. We loved the house the only thing we would have liked more if the patio doors had screens on them.

Our family very pleased with this beach house . It is better than advertised. Huge, plenty of comfortable beds for everyone, within walking distance to the beach, clean, and great communication with the owner. Definitely would stay here again.

Stay was wonderful. Had 16 sleeping comfortably. Variety of room arrangements perfect for young families and older adults. Walking distance to beach. While beach crowded as expected for July 4th, most traffic and people to the south away from the beach in front of the property.

🤩🤩everything was incredible and clean the house has everything you need for the kitchen which is great because you don't have to worry The only thing is that some neighbors do not respect that the hour of no loud noises is 10 pm and they start reporting to the police very early.

The house was good for a family stay. We enjoyed being close to the beach and close to town. The house interior could use a paint touch up in places. Also a couple of broken railings on balcony. The top floor is really not accessible to everyone as you have to take a ship’s steps to get up there.

There was plenty of room for us all, great location. We had a lot of fun. Thank you so much.

This is one of the best properties we have stayed around the world. The place was sparkling clean when we arrive . Russell was a great host and easy to communicate with. The listing is true to the detail!

Just the perfect family vacation... great house, great location, everything you need to have a great time and quick response from property manager when we had questions. He also messaged us during our stay to make sure everything was going well.

Overall the house and furnishings are quite nice as advertised. When we arrived Friday evening it was obvious the cleaning service had not showed up. There were dishes with food, wet towels m, and beds that needed sheets changed. I emailed the host Friday evening politely requesting a cleaning service or some sort of a response. There was never a response. Fortunately the house has a washer and dryer and we were able to get towels and sheets and pillowcases all washed. That started out the weekend on a sour note unfortunately. This review reflects this.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The Beach house was well appointed with many special touches. The kitchen had plenty of items to use if you wish to cook. Bedding and towels were nice quality too. We loved walking to the beach, watching the sun set and rise, and relaxing on the balconies. Thanks so much for everything! We are looking forward to our next trip already.
