The staff were awesome. One of the best people you can imagine.
Sumbe woke up just after midnight to let me in. They will go miles to make your stay enjoyable. It is simple, quite traditional African but cute.
The breakfast was quite good - far better than what I had at one of the Hilton hotels in Birmingham.
Quite easy to get to the main road - it is off the main road enough to be away from hustle and bustle but close to enough to get to anywhere… the list goes one.. don’t forget very good value for money too
I am not sure about what I didn’t like - I will stay here next time when I come to Arusha.
I didn’t arrange for Safari as I was there for a day but there were some guests from Germany who had Safari arranged!

Sehr grün, sehr guter Koch
Zimmer riechen muffig und es ist teilweise Schimmel an den Wänden, Bettdecken stinken ebenfalls muffig, sodass man sich nicht damit zudecken wollte. Der Chef ist super nett, das andere Personal spricht leider mäßig Englisch

The staff was friendly. And there were a lot of outdoor hangout places. The place lives up to its name in the sense that there is a lot of green, which is nice.
The breakfast was very small and uninspiring (2eggs, 2 toasts and some fruit). No card payment and I got a very bad exchange rate when paying in the local currency. The rooms were ok, but there was no hot water. The place was super quiet and I saw one other guest during my 3 days there, not what you expect for a "Backpacker" place. There were also some ongoing renovation, maybe it was related.

A beautiful garden and bar area. Excellent food personally prepared for us by a highly skilled chef. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
I would have preferred 100% cotton sheets. And hooks in the room would be useful. But generally, everything was fine.

Todo! La habitación es ideal para viajeros y descansar después o antes de realizar safaris! El desayuno completo y buenísimo! El personal es fantástico té reciben con una hospitalidad que te hacen sentir como en casa… sobretodo el chico de la recepción! Fue una estancia de 10!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩

We only stayed for one night but had a good time. The place is very cheap and located in the middle of Arusha.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Bar was well stocked and seating area outside was nice.
There was a hole in the bath room wall in direction of the hall. That was quiet weird and didn't feel good when using the room (as people could hear everything).

Breakfast was good. Location was good. Peaceful.
On check out the hotel airport drop off taxi overcharged me. I recommend you avoid hotel taxi and call for one yourself.

the property is beautiful lush green and so quiet yet situated just 5 mins walk away from the town. Feels like a hidden gem!
one night, there were rats running on the ceiling which was very creepy to hear!

Cheap and central
It’s actually not all that cheap because you have to pay more as a ‘tip’. It’s central but comes at the price of being extremely noisy - there’s an open air night club next door with loud music all night. The employee was sick - it’s sad to see that they still have to work in that state and it is disconcerting in times of Covid. Our booking was unknown to the place and instead of a room with a private bathroom, we were supposed to take dorm beds because someone with a different name had booked them. The bed was dirty under the sheets and the warm water didn’t work.

Very Charming place , very nice welcome and perfect place to relax near by clock tower .. recommended strongly to anyone . Very cozy .. .
