We stayed the previous 2 times in a guest house opposite Aspen as weren't sure about it, but Aspen exceeded our expectations! We had a room on the top floor with a roof window from which you could easily see the ships coming in and out of the port. The bathroom was quite spacious (although would prefer it to have brighter light as I was struggling to see when getting ready), the shower pressure was strong and the temperature hot and consistent. The room had plenty of storage facilities and even a decent fridge, which was massively appreciated! The staff (who also work in the guest house we stayed in previously) were extremely nice and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant surprise and we definitely would consider staying here again if in Peterhead.
Nothing was really wrong, but could be great if the light in the bathroom was a bit brighter as there's no natural light in the room and if both sides of the bed could have some sort of bedside table (maybe by moving the bed to the dressing table and moving the bedside table to the wall?). Oh, and a few hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes would be fantastic. But that's just a suggestion!

Really nice, clean and quiet place! Hotel manager and stuff were very nice and freindly! Stuff were cleaned the room and toilet everyday! Also fresh towel and clean cups everyday! no complain at all! looking forward to book again in future!
Only thing is Toilet was outside the room and beacause we booked for long time it was a bit hard for my husband he got diabetic, but manager explained that why that happend, so other than that toilet was nice and clean no complain very nice and clean place to stay, will deffo recommend it.

It was close to town ,lovely shower comfy bed also nice having a fridge in roomOnly drawback was as elderly people we would have liked a lower floor

Spacious room. Great double glazing cancelled the noise from outside plus comfy beds ensured a good nights sleep.
Spoiled a bit by other guests from same group/family constantly ,must have been 30/40 times, coming and going slamming the main door.
So a quieter front door could help.

Location was great right in centre of town everything on your doorstep what more could you ask for ...Depending on the room you receive the view is fantastic to 🙂
Can't improve perfection was fantastic 😊...might not be everyone taste or quality you know those (Karen's)..if you want mega stars go find and pay for them ..The Aspen is a fantastic little place ..decor is lovely throughout rooms are spacious spotless clean everything is catered for value for money actually when you see what you get you would have expected to pay more 🙂..

As a contractor, travelling the country with work, the Aspen is perfect for me. Nice and quiet with street parking at the door. Room serviced every day. The room I had was huge and liked it so much, am back again this week. It is superb value and will be my go-to place when working in Peterhead. There is a table and chairs in the room which allows me to sit in comfort and eat my take-away. Bed is comfy the whole house is spotless. Superb value for money and highly recommended. I also like the fact that I`m not paying for breakfast that I don`t eat.
