Super nette Besitzerin. Süßes Familiengeführtes Hotel. Zimmer hatte alles was man brauchte, mit einem schönen Blick in den Garten/Tal.

Zimmer war kalt eingerichtet und lud nicht zum wohlfühlen ein (kahle Fenster, weiße kalte Wände). Zimmer war etwas feucht, die Kleidung fühlte sich nach der Nacht etwas klamm an. Frühstück wurde liebevoll selbst zubereitet, jedoch gar keine Auswahl. Es gab 2 Brotsorten, mit 3 Käsesorten und Honig und 2x Marmelade, sowie einen Apfelkuchen. Allergiker und Menschen mit Essensunverträglichneiten kommen nicht auf ihre Kosten.

Logement très simple, mais confortable. Petit déjeuner qui vaut le détour, et personnel très agréable.

Prix élevé pour une chambre vraiment très simple et mal insonorisée, mais avec le petit déjeuner qui était excellent cela compense.

Mega Atmosphäre beim Frühstück, das von den Inhabern persönlich serviert wird. Extrem gastfreundlich! Strände, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind fußläufig erreichbar. Morgendliche Yoga Sessions kann man buchen, wenn man möchte, genauso wie Surf Sessions. Absolut empfehlenswerter Stay!

We had a great 4-night stay! The house and garden was very peaceful and the rooms lovely and clean - big balcony with amazing views. The breakfast was delicious, in particular we loved the homemade jams!

Everything was perfect! I want to highlight Vania’s kindness and all the attention to details she had during our stay. The breakfast is to die for ❤️ homemade and delicious.

I stayed only for one night but just loved the place! such an amazing and calm at the same time .... yoga&surf vibes both I love so much so just perfect fit ..... the breakfest was absolutely amazing made with love ..... beautiful small cute terrace and lovely garden where you can just sit and breathe ..... you feel the care for nature and sustainability ....very kind, friendly owner ... definitely coming back when I plan to stay again in this part of Portugal ..... highly recommended!

Lovely breakfast and staff. The design of the house is super nice and the back garden is good for an afternoon reading or chat. Location is great as it is near the town center, all commodities and bus station.

You can hear a lot from your neighbour's rooms (if you are looking for privacy this might be annoying). There was also a lot of light coming into the room early in the morning, the window had only blinds in it. Although the room and bathroom were fixed every day, towels weren't replaced for the whole stay (5 days).

The hosts very nice and friendly, tried to help, arranged the surfing lesson for us. Breakfast was very artistic with carefully selected products. The location is a walking distance to the beaches and good restaurants. Easy parking. Nice garden.

The hosts were very nice and took care of all our concerns. The breakfast was sensational. The rooms were nice and modern with large windows and a fan perfect for airing. In the garden there is a large terrace, ideal for yoga and it’s close to the beach! :)

tiny, tiny room -- way too small for 2 people, tiny bathroom (toilet is basically at the head of the bed); 2 people cannot walk in the room at the same time. City view means everybody who walks on the street can see you, unless the shades are completely closed. Towels are changed only after 6 days, but since there is no place to dry them, it's impossible to keep them fresh. Seems main concern is the cool look and vibe, not the comfort of guests.

Cozy accommodation. Very good and abundant breakfast. Kind and helpful staff.

That I had only one night there, wanted more

The breakfast was delicious - lots of delicious fruit, homemade jams and local honey and bread all served on the lovely terrace. We were only there three nights but would love to come again and participate in the activities Ocean House can organise. Porto covo is a very pretty and relaxed town surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We went to three restaurants just minutes from ocean house, recommended by Vania, and all were very good - such a treat to have such fresh seafood. We were made to feel so welcome and would love to return.

Perfect location and really tastefully decorated. Lots of lovely touches like amazing smelling soaps and lotion. The breakfast was lovely, and the hosts were really friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable room and a truly amazing breakfast

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was really very good (like advertised and as others have written in the comments). On the surface the house appears to be luxurious and welcoming. The hosts do not withhold information about the size of the room but please take a look at the size (in square meters) before arriving and being taken aback.

First things first: Our room was hazardous to health. The ceiling in the bathroom (no ventilation) and in the very(!) small room were moldy. At first this was concealed by fresh paint but after showering once or twice the mold came through and was visible in the form of black patches. You could watch it grow day by day. We tried to ventilate the room by window and door, to no avail. The hosts have been made aware (personally, via Booking, via Mail) but choose not to react. No amends were made. The healthy, luxurious, instagramable vibe feels like a total rip-off. If you want to risk your health and choose to stay in the room anyway: Anything other than sleeping at the house and eating an early breakfast is not recommended. We expected a place to stay for a few nights but the room was tiny and governed by detailed house rules. There is very very small space in the room to keep your luggage (and we are used to camping in small tents). The garden is open until 22pm but not as welcoming as it pretends and without proper places to sit in the shade. You can sit at the tables but expect to burn in the sun.

It was a nice start for our walk. Simple but everything is set up with pure love. Friendly and we've got all informations that we needed. Breakfast is all homemade with locally produced ingredients.
