Are the heavenly beds gone? Besides this, everything works perfect and you should not have any trouble at all. The hotel is clean and the complimentary parking is easy to use and a great option.

I was a slight upset when I was told I was considered a nonshow after I sent an email message to the property letting them know my family and I were arriving late. They did end up accommodating us. I was still nervous thinking we had traveled hours and it was 3am in the morning and we may not have a place to stay.

We usually stay at the Westin on Michigan Av but the DNC was in town and made the cost prohibitive. The hotel was very nice. We didn't know we had to request housekeeping so we were surprised not to have towels when we returned late Friday night. They brought towels right away. Lesson learned. The lady at the breakfast buffet was very nice and attentive I think her name had Luna in it. Kuddos to her.

Overall, this hotel is decent, rooms are good sized, the bathroom is nice and clean. Staff are pretty nice. However, it’s very noisy at night, there are various events going on (weddings, family gatherings etc) and it’s hard to get a good sleep because the hotel is like a cylinder so when there’s noise in the lobby the whole hotel can hear it. On a brighter note, the pool and hot tub was amazing, the pool was big and the hot tub was great. In general, this is a good hotel.

Convenient location! Not too far from downtown Chicago. Our water didn’t get hot and then the shower wouldn’t drain, the other guests were very loud, our door was open/unlocked once we returned from being gone all day, and it could use some updating. But it was clean, for the most part, and the staff was accommodating. Once we spoke with the manager about the shower/noise issues, he upgraded us to a suite for the night. The tv’s in the suites were messed up and the toilet hit the wall when you sat down, but otherwise, fine stay!

Before you stay here you should know that the hotel is beautifully kept and the service workers are very friendly. However you have to pay for wifi and the use of the gym. We stay hotels often due to travel sports and I have never stayed at a hotel, or even a motel, that requires you to pay extra for these amenities. The obly downside to ths othwrwise great stay.
