Beautiful hotel, beautifully decorated for the holiday. Spacious room and bathroom

This was our first time staying here and to say we were impressed is an understatement! The location is perfect. The rooms are beautiful and HUGE. I can't gush enough about the spa treatments and high tea is wonderful! The unlimited complimentary water was a much needed surprise. I'd add photos of the beautiful room, but the Hotels.com app never seems to allow me to do so (all permission have been granted).

The BEST place to stay in Denver. Elegant, historical hotel, centrally located. Live music with afternoon tea. Great bars. Nice restaurants. Excellent service.

Beautiful and classy.

Beautiful grand hotel in downtown Denver. Large rooms with marvelous bathrooms. I like their tavern and lobby bar cocktails and their Caesar salad is amazing at their restaurants.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was nice but the bathroom had seen better days with dirty caulking and grout. Some of the doors to the rooms were paint chipped. The place net some TzLC

Service provided by valet, front desk and restaurants were top notch; however, we did experience several issues throughout stay. Thermostat in room did not work and the room was on AC upon arrival. Outside temp was ~20 degrees. Lobby and hallway were comfortable. We tried to call and notify front desk using the room speed dial, but it just kept ringing (not sure if programmed correctly because we experienced another issue later). After going down to the front desk, they were able to send someone up to adjust the heat, but the adjustment only worked for a few hours. We woke to the room freezing, again. Next day we came back to our room keys not working and asked the front desk to fix the heat again, which they did promptly. However, the room became hot later in the stay and we didn’t want to keep going to the front desk and bothering the technician to adjust the unit. Final night we tried to use the speed dial for room service and were directed to 911. Could be an issue during emergency. Ended up having to get dressed and go down to the restaurant to eat, which was delicious and service was great. It is an old, charming hotel and hot water takes about 5 min to heat up. Lastly, my fiance used the robe hanging in the closet to find that it smelled of men’s cologne. Perhaps the house keeping did not wash it. She left it on the floor for them to take after first night, but they just hung it back up (perhaps protocol and they didn’t know?). Overall staff was great, but hotel issues

The Brown Palace continues to provide excellent service. The hotel is well maintained especially given its history. It is amazing to think the Brown Palace opened in August 1892. Highly recommend staying at the hotel and enjoying the afternoon tea. An experience well worth the stay.

A wonderful stay at the Brown Palace. I will be staying there again for sure! On Sunday morning there was a Jazz Brunch and the band was extremely good. Music wasn’t too loud and sitting near the band, I was still able to have a conversation with my daughter. The food was also very good. Everything at the hotel was wonderful except for two very minor issues. The food at the piano/bar lounge was not great and my room had a stale smell about it, which was mitigated by turning the fan on high for a while. Otherwise this was a great stay and I will be back!

Room was very hot. AC seemed to not work and neither did the fan in the room. Also room smelled very poor.

The AC didn’t work, but was fixed quickly. The water was turned off over night but didn’t cause a problem.

What a fabulous old hotel, built by the Brown fortune, this is a beautifully stylish hotel dating back to the 1800’s. A blast from the past.

Water was off the night we arrived, for a maintenance job. Carpet in hallway was soaking wet, with a noisy fan that blew all night. Next day the water was brown for a long time. Toilet leaked on my clothes. We got moved (to a smaller room). Bed in new room was the squeakiest ever. Water in both taps was hot. Got charged for internet (despite being a Marriott member). Eventually the bill was settled, by email later. Quaint hotel, historical, but a bit tired, and not the service I’d expect for the cost. Maybe we were just unlucky

Still awaiting feedback from the hotel after 2 discussions (once at checkout and 2 days later after returning home). Neither resulted in action We went the hotel for our 21st anniversary and stayed in a room where the door wouldn’t shut without significant effort and it wasn;t really comforting when maid attendant told us to make sure to push hard to close it becuase recently some homeless folks had got in the hotel and sleep there overnight. The best however was the 2x during our stay the water was turned off from 12-6am and as we departed Monday morning, the water we did have turned brown causing my wife to throw up while brushing her teeth before we left. Hotel said after my last call that they would contact us via email and we’ve yet to hear from them whatsoever. Quite a disappointment for a world class hotel.

Wonderful stay for a weekend getaway!! Hotel is historical and beautiful throughout. Area is great and staff were friendly. Rooms were spacious as well as the bathroom/shower.

Check in was OK/So So. Pretty slam back you're checked in. No welcome, No eye contact from person at front desk. Here's 2 keys. Room was a bit OK/So So side. Bathroom was missing a door on vanity, large chip in wood and the other door on vanity fell off on its own while we were there. Water shut off 12pm-early AM hours timing seemed odd. No housekeeping on 1st day. Had to track down housekeeping in the hall to ask for towels only to be told we had to call front desk. Room didn't seem to look same as what was shown on website. Maybe we were in the Expedia "wing" at the Brown Palace ? Fan in hallway running to dry water damage for few days ? Can't recall encounters with anyone very friendly. Were excited about staying in the historic hotel, but wouldn't recommend. Just "meh".

What an incredible stay! Such a special hotel. So much history and beauty. The staff was increible. Th young lady at the front desk ( Allisa ) went above and beyond making our stay so special. We will surely come back next time we're visiting Denver!

The Brown Palace is an incredible hotel with lots of history. I very much enjoyed the tea.
It is certainly up there with some of the best.
I did wish the hotel had a cafe where I could get a light snack. My appetizer-size crab cake and glass of wine was quite overpriced but my only choice since I didn’t need a full dinner since I had eaten lunch out earlier in the day.

All in all an amazing hotel with great character. Rooms exceptionally clean. I would say the showers were small and a bit too much water with a rainfall and regular showerhead in a tiny shower. Other than that, dining, experience and all was amazing

The hotel is very fancy, and it has history

Great place with all the history but to get service at the main desk took forever because of staffing.

Classic historic hotel with elegant atrium lobby, great for cocktails. Four different restaurants.

The Brown has gone down. This has been our go to for years when visiting Denver, we are very disappointed to say we will be trying somewhere else on our next visit. Suggest staff and management alike begin to remedy their issues by reading “Hug Your Customers.” On top of the lack of hot water to our room, we have received far superior customer service at motels along the side of an interstate.

Very cute hotel. We loved that they have tea time and saw so many happy faces. Check them out, I hope it makes your heart happy as it did for us 💕

Brown palace is known to be a high end hotel in the downtown Denver area. When we checked in, the gal at the front argued with us in regard to the complementary breakfast. (English is not her strong suit) Turns out it was clearly noted on the reservation. Additionally, the fan above the bed made a hideous squeaking noise all night keeping us awake and miserable. The desk in the room is in shabby condition, It seems nobody is taking the time to maintain the rooms. Not worth the $500 plus dollars. There are many other options in Denver.

The property is unique and impressive. Shows a little age, but still beautiful. Nothing special in the neighborhood.

The Atrium with quiet music and also with the jazz band was great. The room was very ordinary; lacked some amenities we found in other iconic hotels (telephone, notepad, small toiletries).
