Hotel was very clean and adequate for my needs. The bed was a little hard but still reasonably comfortable. Reception staff were pleasant. Location perfect for Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

Awful place to stay, service just as bad as the hotel. Room wasn’t clean, pen marks on the sheets, hairs in the shower, marks all over the walls. Beds are hard, and we were given a ‘free upgrade’ but that then meant we were in a room which backed on to a huge pipe that I can only assume was the heating system. At 6am this started up and that was our wake up call as it made the most horrendous noise. Walls were paper thin and we could hear people in the corridors until late into the night. We didn’t even bother staying for breakfast, but on checkout after waiting for a staff member to be found we did raise our issues. Only to be told we could expect a call in a couple of hours for a manager to discuss. Of course no call. We were also advised by the first member of staff to pay for parking in the morning, yet the next in the morning told us not to worry about paying, so really hope we don’t get a fine through the post but who knows. Although this wasn’t a cheap stay, my advise would be pay the slightly higher price and stay elsewhere.

Beware of £5 parking charge which is not mentioned until you arrive. Room had tea and coffee but no milk or sugar. Toilet had continuously running water all night due to failed siphon seal. Quality control needs a rethink.

Lovely staff, very polite and hard working. A credit to the hotel. Got there early as we were going to Cricket and left the car there. With forethought we should have booked for dinner as when we got back couldn’t get us in. Usually all hotels we stay in ask if you want a table which is helpful. We were rushing to get to Cricket so never thought. Everything else room facilities were good. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as it was buffet which usually suits us but Sausages were cold and the rest tepid.

Totally overpriced even for a match day. First room was a 3/4 bed not a double with dirty net curtains. Staff moved us to a better room but definitely nothing to rave about. Staff friendly but definitely will not be returning.

Lovely hotel. We stayed in a very spacious suite, both clean & comfortable. Staff were extremely polite & efficient, even when busy, found time to be attentive. We were there to watch The Hundred at Old Trafford Cricket Ground & the hotel couldn't have been in a better location, literally a 10min walk down the same street! Think we've found our new go to hotel. Very happy all round.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel was ideally situated for our visit to Emirates Old Trafford and exploring Manchester. Rooms would benefit from air conditioning
