Pros: A staff, very clean and sanitary, excellent air conditioning, close to everything, superior tv channels offered from around the globe, decent breakfast options, but catered slightly towards other Asian tastes (let’s get some eggs added), and did I mention the staff? Cons: a little less sound insulation from the hallway. This is pretty common for all hotels in Southeast Asia under a hundred bucks a night. This place cost me around 40 per night, so it’s something I expected. I recently got back from an eight week vacation/holiday, and I stayed at roughly ten different locations. This was by far the best hotel involved. I had a checkout for noon, and my flight was at midnight. The front desk took great care of my luggage, securing it so that I could enjoy Hoi An for my last day. They even offered to let me shower in an open room, and mind you this was after I checked out. Needless to say the staff went above and beyond from my perspective as an ardent traveler. Will be coming back.

I have nothing to complain about. The room was very nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Common areas were clean. Breakfast was great. First class!

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was beautiful. It is very close to the Hoi An ancient town and a great place to stay if you like to walk and explore the area. Breakfast buffet has limited options but the quality of the Asian dishes were great. Definitely recommend eating the Vietnamese dishes. The only thing we didn’t like was that the tours booked through the hotel were a lot more expensive than if you just book them through Klook. We made the mistake of booking several of our day tours through the hotel for convenience sake. However, do check with the staff, on the last day, they offer to price match whatever we found online but you need to pull up the quotes on the phone for confirmation.

The Silkotel was a fantastic place to stay. Close enough to everything but quiet and peaceful. There are bikes onsite to take out riding and 2 beautiful pool areas. The breakfast were sumptuous and a great variety for the many travellers. We had 2 interconnecting rooms, which was great. Overall I highly recommend staying at the Silkotel. The staff also are very friendly and helpful.

great hotel close to Old town. Lovely, friendly staff. Good buffet breakfast. Pool was ok but not much room for sun loungers & lost the sun early. Bathroom could do with upgrade as has shower over bath, who takes a bath on holiday! Overall would recommend as great place to stay in Hoi An

The staff were amazing.

Not recommended if you want to enjoy a quiet and relaxed stay. We asked for a quiet room and got the room next to the elevators. The staff obviously didnt care. Once you arrive they try to sell you slightly overpriced tours. Breakfast was in regards to the price good. The Hotel was very loud, there a lot of groups that keep you up at night. One minimum requirement is to have a nightstand, power and light switch next to the bed one both sides that wasnt given. Unfortunately we couldnt enjoy our stay.

Excellent location! Walking distance to Old Town and all the attractions in town. Quiet, clean and decent breakfast most days. Would recommend and stay next time we are in Hoi An!

Excellent location near to all the sites, shopping and restaurants. Hotel is big, clean with attentive staff. They provide free bicycles where you can just use to explore the town. We celebrated our daughter's bday. The hotel staff made special effort to give us a fruit basket.

Clean spacious room and toilet. Walking distance to Japanese bridge, ancient house and night market. Will be good if the walkway from villa to the main hall is covered with roof top.

The staff at Silkotel are very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, close to the old town. Breakfast is good but fairly limited. The rooms were noisy with sounds from neighbouring rooms beside and above heard clearly

I loved my stay at Silkotel in Hoi An. The area was close to all tourist areas, and staff provided exceptional service. I would give my stay 5/5 and would highly recommend. Only issue was wifi signal is not good and I had to do work.

Everything was kept very clean and the furniture in the lobby was very much Veitnamese, I liked it.

We arrived at 12 noon and the rooms were ready but they didn't allow us to check in unless we pay 10 USD per room. Very unpleasant staff.

We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago when it was just opened. It was great then and still is!
