Deposit for key and locker of £20 but they did return. Nice caudual and straight foward

The dorm was ok except a locker could have been a bit larger. The location was good as it was close to the airport as I had an early flight but also close to many attractions.

Wonderful place ,very clean, friendly personal and helpful. actually the area is not far from the most of the famous places. I surly recommend people to choose this hostel .

Located in central Berlin with friendly staff with great access to the public transport and venues

I needed a cheap place to spend few hours after arriving in Tegel Airport half past 10pm and before my train to Hildesheim at 4am. This hostel is walkable from Berlin Hbf.The reception is at the third floor. The lift is going under renovation for a week so that means I have to carry my heavy luggage walking up the stairs. I was glad that a man who was also going up with a luggage offered to help carry mine. I profusely thanked him until we reached the reception and later found out that he is the receptionist. My room was in the 4th floor and this time I had to carry my luggage. That was fine.In the early morning, another man was in the reception. I politely asked for two things: (1) to book me a taxi and (2) to assist me with my luggage. He would only do (1). He reasoned that he cannot leave the reception. Unlike when I arrived where it was full with young people drinking and chatting, there were nobody else in the reception except us. I was utterly disappointed. But in the end, he was obliged to help me since the taxi would come in 1-2 minutes. It would took me couple more minutes if I had to carry it myself. So, was still thankful.There should have been an advisory that the lift isn't working. Had I known it, I wouldn't book this in the first place.The toilets and showers are very dirty. Hallways are also noisy. I couldn't even sit up in the bed and I'm only 1.5m tall. There are better hostels which are cleaner, more comfortable beds and also cheap

We booked a double room with private bathroom and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. Staff was friendly and helpful. The corridor to the hostel door looked shady when we were first trying to locate the hostel, but we were glad the hostel turned out fine. There's also a convenience store nearby which was great.

Not the hostels fault, but the common room has no atmosphere and not many of the people staying were open to conversation. Also only had 2 female toilets and 2 showers for the whole floor. So trying to get a shower in the morning could take a while.

It was a great place to stay, location is excellent, nice and clean rooms

Bedroom and locker were good. Sitting area near reception good to chill out and eat food. Could probably get quite busy though in peak times. Couple of seats and tables outside the bedrooms aswell which was quite handy. Kitchen very small and limited appliances. Fridge was packed full and it was fairly quiet when i went.Only one urinal and one toilet for all the floor which was just not enough. Only 2 showers also.

I stayed days and had an amazing time and the staff was super helpful and nice.

The building is gorgeous. We stayed in a private bedroom which was specious and comfortable. The staff is excellent; friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The experience was almost perfect. The decor is beautiful and had a 20's feel to it. The downside was the shower. First, you must press the water button every 30 seconds. Taking a shower in this way is very frustrating. What makes it worse is the fact that the lights are on a motion sensitive timer. I'd you shower for more than 5 minutes, prepare to have the lights go off and showering in the dark or getting out of the shower to activate the lights. For us, this was a huge turn off regarding the space and really took away from the experience. As beautiful as the space was, bexcuse of the shower, we would not stay here again. On a side note, the building is a shared space and on one of the floors, there is a dance studio. The dance studio was playing very loud but very lovely music. However, it was past midnight on both occasions. I made a complaint and they immediatelytook care ox it by having the studio turn down the music and issuing me a 50% discount for one of the nights I was staying there. TL;DR really great spot- showers ruin the experience.

The hotel room is so comfortable. The toilet is much bigger than expected and very clean. The staff are nice and provide high-quality service to us. The hotel site is also convenient for us to go to different tourist spots.
