A very nice hotel in walking distance to Oaxaca centrum. The staff were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The rooms are a good size, however, the bed was a bit too hard for our liking. Only “negative” thing is that the sound from the connecting rooms (above or next to) are loud. A air vent in the bathroom seemed as an amplifier for conversations, the use of bathroom/shower etc.
We would book this hotel again when returning to Oaxaca!

We had an excellent one week stay at Hotel con Corazón. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast in the morning was amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe was just very cool. Highly recommend!

The location is good, the staff is friendly. Breakfast delicious and well balanced. I really recommend if you are coming to La Guelaguetza festival, really close to the auditorium.

Great hotel, beautiful design all around, delicious and creative daily breakfast, friendly, accommodating and competent staff. I will stay here whenever I'm in Oaxaca. Hospitality at its finest.

The female staff was excellent. We were able to book sightseeing trips and seek their recommendations around Oaxaca.
One male staff member was rude and inattentive- he made us wait outside for 10 minutes at 10:30 pm before opening the door to let us in. We complained and the management apologized.
All in all it was a pleasant stay.

A basic, nice hotel that makes you feel good about the contribution they make to the community. The staff is exceptionally kind and the breakfast is amazing. The cooking classes are a highlight, providing a delightful and authentic experience of one of the most important aspects of Oaxaca’s culture. Although it's not located in the center, the hotel is located just a few blocks away. The provided amenities, such as shampoo and conditioner, could use some improvement, so it’s advisable to bring your own.

I like that they help youth in the community. The breakfast was good. Beds were hard. Lock on door did not seem really secure. My key got stuck in it. I thought a spa was at the premises. No pool,no elevator, kinda steep incline into and of property. Would not recommend stay if you have mobility issues.

The hotel was beautiful and incredibly welcoming. Like most of the Mexico city, it could be a bit loud at night but the hotel provided a white noise machine and ear plugs. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property with helpful and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast with varied menus, honor bar for evening drinks and unlimited fresh bottled water on each floor. Quiet and comfortable rooms with lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and good AC. Great that some profits go to help with educational projects for youth in the area.

Overall, a nice stay! Lovely hotel and delicious breakfasts each morning. I appreciated all the details in the design- plants, tiles, natural woods, etc. The mattress is SO uncomfortable, though, which makes it hard to get decent sleep.

Lovely hotel with attentive service and a mission statement that makes you feel good about where your money is going. Right next to a delicious market. Note that although “air conditioning” is mentioned on this site, our room, at least, didn’t have air conditioning. However, it did have a powerful ceiling fan, and we were always perfectly comfortable despite the sweltering outdoor heat.

The staff, mission, and vibe is amazing. Breakfast was delicious, and rooms are very pretty. Only issue is there’s little noise insulation, so it’s very noisy. I woke up many times in the middle of the night from dogs barking, a phone ringing in the room next door, etc. if you’re a heavy sleeper, stay here it’s great! It’s a bit of a walk to town center but the area around the hotel is interesting and there’s some great things to check out. Good value too, just not a great option for light sleepers

Hotel is lovely, really well kept - but if we booked again we would book a different room. The tank room is just too small for a couple! It's also the closest to the road, so a little loud as the sound leaks through.

Our visit to Oaxaca to attend a wedding was enhanced by our 4-night stay at Hotel con Corazon. We felt that we had great value for the price--the room was clean, the facility was comfortable, and the staff could not have been nicer and more friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs. The location was perfect as a starting point for everything we wanted to see and do in Oaxaca. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is small & cozy. Rooms are small, but spacious. The entire hotel is very clean & well kept. There is a ramp & stairs which are fairly steep & could be hard to navigate for people with impairments. The breakfast is so fresh & delicious & the staff is super helpful & very friendly.

This is an excellent hotel! The rooms are clean and modern. The staff is superb! And a real bonus - the outstanding breakfasts, with fresh, outstanding Oaxaca cuisine. Highly recommended!!

This was a really cool place. We only stayed for one night, but the room was great, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff really helpful. Plus, the hotel has an awesome social mission in terms of supporting Mexican education. All in all, I'd really recommend this spot.

Loved staying at this hotel. The staff was so nice and accommodating and the breakfast was so delicious. The rooms were nice and clean and the distance to downtown is only about a 10 minute walk. I can’t wait to go back.

One of the coolest hotels in the city. Just outside of the busy area, still safe and walkable. Very unique architecture and modern feel with awesome rooftop patios. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay - three course meal, different every morning, and very well made. The only things to know are that the is a decent amount of road noise, but it is quiet from 10pm-7am. And the beds are quite firm.

This hotel has noble goals supporting an NGO for educational projects in the region and also the artistic design of the rooms and common areas is very attractive, however this is not the ideal choice for experiencing the vibrant nightlife and attractions of El Centro in Oaxaca City. The propery is located on a side street which is practically deserted at night and you must walk several blocks to find anything open. The hotel restaurant only serves breakfast apparently. Also be forewarned I was told at check in that friends of guests are not welcome on the property after 930 pm, a very early hour in a city where many don’t dine until quite late. Overall, this hotel supports a good cause and is good for travelers who want quiet away from the busy streets, but there are better options closer to the city center for those who want dining, nightlife, and shopping.

I loved the hotel and their purpose. The food was delicious every morning. However, in my opinion, the bed was too hard and uncomfortable for me.
