Celebrating Anniversary! Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Great view from patio/balcony. Staff very pleasant.

This hotel stay was great! Check in and check out were easy, the room was great and breakfast was great! I did not know ahead of time that parking was offsite and required an extra cost. I didn't love that, but it wasn't too far and didn't ruin my stay.

The ladies at the reception were friendly and professional. The young man in the breakfast area was outstanding! He worked so hard, was professional and friendly to the guest. He kept the breakfast area in top shape. I was very impressed

There was no hot water in the shower, the safe deposit box was broken, and they ran out of eggs and other items in the middle of breakfast time. Nobody cared about the guests, and lots of them were upset.

Very nice hotel with great amenities. The included breakfast was very good and room service was above and beyond. Parking was across the street but there was never any traffic to create any walk ability concerns. The location was great and provided for easy access to the rest of the island. “The Spot” next door was incredibly convenient but did produce quite a bit of noise on our balcony as we were on the 6th floor directly above. I did have some concerns with disabled accessibility as I had requested this accommodation when booking but upon arrival realized the bathroom/shower had no grab bars. We made do as the view from the room was too good to pass on. I’ll definitely be making reservations here again soon for my next excursion to Galveston.

The hotel is nice but the parking garage is inconvenient

View was great but balcony was dirty towels and trash. The original assigned room had a broken lock. After going to lobby for the third set of Key cards they assigned a new room. Loved location and view. Didn't receive proper instructions about parking had to go back to desk again to get those. But other than those items Hotel was nice.

I got to the hotel around 9:00 pm. I had called ahead of time to note that I would be arriving a little later. When I got there, they had given my room to someone else and no others were available in type of room I reserved. They then provided a room type that was about 25.00 cheaper than the one I had reserved and no they did not refund any of the prepaid amount. They told me I would have to work with the company I reserved the room with. I got to the room and it smelled like cat urine as soon as I opened the door. I did not go any further into the room. I turned around went back to the lobby. Told them the room had a foul odor, where I received multiple eye rolls and huffs like I was totally inconveniencing them. I am a part time travel agent and have never stayed at a hotel that when they made a mistake on my room that they didn’t provide a higher level too, shoot even when I wasn’t an agent, I was never treated that way. If it weren’t that it was already late and I was heading to the cruise terminal the next morning, I would have cancelled the room altogether. This is not a hotel that I will be providing as an option for my travel clients.

The property was very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. I had a beautiful view of the beach and a lot of things were walking distance from the hotel.

Front desk staff very rude, very poor housekeeping

The front desk staff was friendly and informative. The breakfast staff was doing an excellent job keeping food available for the large number of guests. The cleaning staff was on site, constantly working. I thanked every staff member I saw. Unfortunately, there were no pool towels available, so we used our room towels. We requested 2 more towels, twice, but never received any more towels to shower with. Also, the sink and tub both had draining issues, and one of the lamp shades by the bed was covered with brown droplet stains.

Highly expensive holiday inn… for that cost they should offer more than powdered eggs, non microwaved sausage ,sugar cereal and watered down juice Came out $310/night with paying for parking

The staff was wonderful and friendly. The morning breakfast was very nice. We loved the lemon water always available. The pool was a great quiet spot to swim. The location was gorgeous, across from the Seawall. The balcony seating outside our room was very nice! The phone charger outlets were all broken in our room. The air conditioning was extremely noisy and hard to regulate. We had a lovely stay. Thank you!

Excellent location and views. If you dont like traffic noise whilst your beside the pool then its not for you.

Thought parking should of been provided for their guests

Check in was difficult. System was not working properly and took 20 minutes to check into the room. AC was not working except in the rooms.

Staff super friendly (Elizabeth) and great location for bars restaurants and the pier. Pool was an added bonus. So good we stayed an extra night to enjoy Galveston

Check In at 4:00 lol, never happened and wasn’t even close. Walked in just before 4:00 to about a dozen pissed off people. When we tried to check in we were told “we try to get people in at that time, sorry”. Then when asked how long, couldn’t give us an answer. Then we were told we could store our luggage but wasn’t “guarded”. About 9:00pm we made it to our room only to get a call saying we need to come back down because they forgot to ask for a CC for incidentals. Total cluster, kids running around everywhere screaming and yelling at 1:00am and desk says “we’ve had lots of complaints” but didn’t do anything. Sad too because the room was great and so close to the Spot and the Beach

I just got an email to review bill and check out. I’m not ready to check out but it automatically checked me out Yesterday we got here at 12:30 and we waited to 4:00 to get in our room after traveling all morning. It was a waste of a day and we needed rest. Just seems unorganized behind the scenes. I would not come back to this hotel.
